"So what's been up with you lately?" Joel asked Tom who relaxed leisurely on the couch. 

Tom was stressed out and his mind was occupied with a whole lot of things but he thought it was best to finally relax and have a chat with one of his best friends. Maybe he would feel slightly better. He thought.

"All's cool. That's all I can say." Tom answered with a shrug before throwing the question back at him.

"So how have you been?" 

There was a brief moment of silence before Joel sighed. "Guess I've been good. Work's been frustrating but all together, I'm doing great. I've been really worried about you and all you were probably going through with all tho shits going on with your family. I am really glad your father was found innocent. I wonder why someone would go as far as trying to lie against him just so he wouldn't win this election."
