Ver'nor continued leading their army through the unforgiving terrain of the north. They had been on the move for weeks, and restlessness was beginning to infect their ranks

The northern environment was far harsher than what they'd encountered in the south, and the constant attacks from powerful creatures only added to their worries. Even with Octader's protection, the sparse sources of food and the growing doubts among the monsters about their mission were eroding their resolve.

Their once growing cult was now rapidly losing members and it was only a matter of time before they disbanded. Their only hope was that their destination was getting closer and Ver'nor couldn't help but worry whether Wain had truly thought this through or simply sent them to a random place marked on the map.
