Chapter 12: Childhood 2

(Guts was swinging his sword at the stream last night after waking up with it.
Guts was supposed to get water from the stream.
But after he started swinging his sword, he felt himself calming down, so he kept swinging his sword.
As Guts sat down on a log, defeated from swinging his sword, he noticed someone coming.
It was Gambino.
Gambino said, "How long will it take you to get water?"
Seeing Guts practicing his sword, Gambino threw something at Guts with a wounded nose.
Guts looked at the object in his hand and saw a grenade with ointment inside.
Gambino said, "Put it on your wounds.
Gambino said, "Put it on your wounds." Then Gambino started walking toward the camp.
Guts was embarrassed at first, but he said, "Gambino Ttt-Thank you.
Gambino said, "Have dinner ready when you get back. "
Guts sat on the log, lost in thought. Then he began to apply the ointment Gambino had given him.
Guts, did he do it out of guilt?)

Jiraiya said, "His personality is starting to confuse me. "
Minato: "Could he have a split personality?"
"The part that blames himself for being in the war when Shizu died and feels obligated to take care of Guts."
"And the side that sees him as cursed because Shizu died."
Hiruzen said, "That would be a logical explanation for the man's absurd behavior. "
Tsunade said, "Well, is it just one split personality? He could have multiple split personalities. "
Orochimaru said, "If he has an extra personality, it could be one that makes Guts as sadistic as possible."
Hiruzen said, "Maybe. But we won't know until we read."

(It had been 3 years since Guts and Gambino had this fight.
Guts was standing on the first battlefield with his armor and sword ready.
Soldier B said, "Guts, don't fight too hard. They don't pay for the dead."
He was busy giving a motivational speech to the Gambino Union.
Gambino later returned to Guts,
"This is your first time, let's do our best."
Gambino yelled, "ATTACK!!!"
Guts started running with the whole unit towards the enemy soldiers standing in the castle.
Guts caught the eye of the first enemy soldier he saw as he entered the castle. And he went on the offensive against them.
After the enemy soldier blocked Guts' sword, he swung his sword at Guts' head.
Seeing this attack, Guts moved his head to the side. Again, the attack sent his helmet flying.
When the enemy soldier could not tear off Guts' head, he fell into a momentary vacuum.
Seeing this gap, Guts plunged his sword into the empty part of the armor on the enemy's head.
Seeing his enemy dead, Guts was about to rejoice for a moment.
But his momentary joy was interrupted by a thunderous blow from behind.
The intestines began to think about what exactly to do against the burly man attacking from behind.
This thought process was interrupted by a sword coming out of the burly man's throat.
When Guts looked at who it was, he saw that it was Gambino.
Guts, "Gambino"
Gambino said, "Protect the rest of us, Guts.
"And don't think you're in training. Indirdinc their dreams to plunge into someone."
Guts was pulled from the front line by Gambino's words. Shortly after Guts retired, the war was over.
When they returned to camp, it was their turn to get their money.
Guts went to Gambino after taking the bag with the first money he won.
When he saw Gambino, he threw the money bag at Gambino.
After Gambino grabbed the bag, he first looked at Guts and then looked at the bag.
Then he took some money out of the bag and threw it at Guts.
Gambino said, "Do a good job next time.
Guts started walking towards his tent, holding the first money he won.
A few mercenaries and Gambino remained at the table.
One of the mercenaries, Donovan was a burly black man.
Donovan: "Hey, Gambino"
Gambino said, "What is it, Donovan?"
Before the panel changed, there was only Donovan with a disgusting smile on his face.
[Guts' tent]
Normally, Guts would be happy after his first successful battle.
But now, he was filled with an uneasy feeling.
Guts, *For some reason, I can't stop shaking.
Guts' thoughts were interrupted by a sound from outside the tent.
Guts said, "Who's there?" he shouted.
Later, when Guts looked at the person entering the tent, he saw that it was Donovan.
Normally, Guts wasn't afraid of Donovan. But the hideous smile on Donovan's face was enough to frighten him.
Guts tried to grab his sword.
But before he could reach it, Donovan stopped him.
This chapter of the book ended with Donovan holding Guts with an ugly smile on his face).

Tsunade knew what would happen after the last scene she saw in the book.
He wanted to break the book in his hand into a thousand pieces and set it on fire.
However, he tried to calm down.
Hiruzen asked, "Is Gambino involved?"
"I said he might have recovered in the three years after the war," Jiraiya said. But still, this incident changes everything.
Minato said, "Kushina slept well. Otherwise, I can't predict what he will do after this scene."
Tsunade said, "How much worse will this man's life become?
Orochimaru really didn't care about the man's condition. They were at war, in this case, people were almost everywhere. But there was one thing that interested him.
Orochimaru said, "I think we can now confirm that our man came from another dimension.
"Or at least he came to our time from a time when it was fought like this."
Hiruzen said, "True, but we still won't make a final decision until the man wakes up and asks him."
"If the man doesn't wake up, we have to see what he does before he comes to our world from his memories."
Hiruzen said, "We'll move on to another section tomorrow. You can disperse for now."
They said, "Hai Hokage-sama."
