Chapter 106: Fusion
"Wait. I think I have an idea." Ichigo muttered and closed his eyes.
" What am I saying. I don't have an idea. I should've asked Hachi to teach me some of his Kidō spells he created. Well, I can't complain now." Ichigo sighed and entered a battle stance.
He had an idea of defeating Barragan, but he was not 100% sure it would work. He unsheathed both of his claymores. He used Sonído and appeared in front of Baraggan.
He sliced at him with his claymore on his right hand. The swing which was going at superhuman speeds was reducing in speed dramatically.
Ichigo narrowed his eyes and used his other claymore to slice open Baraggan's stomach. Baraggan surprisingly jumped away, prompting Ichigo to widen his eyes a little.
The time dilation disappeared on his claymore. Ichigo entered a sword stance again.
'Why did he dodge that? ' Ichigo asked himself.
'What an interesting situation you have gotten yourself into, Ichigo. Fighting the ex God-King of Hueco Mundo? ' Mimihagi's voice rang in his head.
'Yes. He is a very tough nut to crack. I can't get past his time dilation barrier at all. Do you have any ideas? ' Ichigo asked Mimihagi.
'I have one. But it would require me to fuse a part of myself with your right hand.' Mimihagi replied to him. Ichigo was immediately interested.
'One of my abilities is the ability of Consumption. I can consume anything and everything, even the smallest atoms. Do you understand what I'm trying to say?' Mimihagi explained.
'We'll give it a shot. Let's do it now. ' Ichigo thought to himself.
'But first, let him go into his Resurrección form. I want to consume everything there is to him.' Mimihagi added. Ichigo nodded.
"Hey! Old guy! I wanna see your Resurrección!" Ichigo shouted. Baraggan was confused.
" Why would you even.... Tch, whatever You're just being arrogant again. I will entertain your request before you die." Baraggan muttered. Though it is forbidden for an Espada up to the top four to release their Zanpakutōs, Baraggan's pride and ego got to the best of him.
Dark red Reiatsu was released by Baraggan. All over Hueco Mundo, every Hollow could feel the immense pressure of Barragan's Reiatsu.
The Reiatsu was sending shockwaves all around the fortress, cracking the walls and the grounds. Baraggan held Arrogante out in front of him with its axe-head pointing downwards.
"Rot, Arrogante!" Baraggan declared the release. Releasing red Reiatsu, the slit-eye pendant between the axe-blades begins to generate numerous jet-black and purple flames, which, burn away Baraggan's flesh, reducing his entire body to little more than a skeleton, with his head becoming a skull and his hands and arms being reduced to bone, though he retains both of his armbands.
Afterwards, Baraggan's body becomes draped in a purple cloak, with a pitch-black tattered fur collar around his neck area and the fringes of his cloak, which gives him a macabre appearance strongly reminiscent of a lich.
Several lengths of golden chain, originally worn like a belt around his waist, now dangle out of his armbands. The eye from his Zanpakutō is now worn at the center of his chest near his neck as an elegant pendant.
The sandals of his uniform become white, pointed-toe boots. His crown-like mask fragment turns into a full, extravagantly decorated, bejeweled crown, with a chain running downward on the left side.
He retains the scar present on his right eye from his previous form, visible now as an apparent crack in the same location.
Baraggan wields a Resurrección form of his original double-bladed axe, which he keeps hidden within his cloak. It is called Gran Caída.
It is the same axe he used as the King of Hueco Mundo, before he became an Arrancar.
The axe itself has a much slimmer and darker appearance than its predecessor. It sports two pointed blades and a large spike protruding outwards from its center, in place of the now-absent slit-eye pendant.
There are four golden chains present around the base of the spike, which extend into his cloak and attach to an ornate bracelet worn around his right wrist. Just as before, he wields the axe with a single hand.
"Behold!! The form that will turn you into literal nothingness!!" Baraggan shouted. Ichigo narrowed his eyes as he looked at the ground that Baraggan was standing on.
The very fortress he was standing on was deteriorating from his mere presence.
'Quickly! Or else the fortress will collapse!! ' Mimihagi shouted in his mind. Ichigo growled as golden Reiatsu surrounded him.
"Go forth and tear the heavens asunder, Zangetsu!!!"
*FSHOOOMMMM!!! BOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!*
A golden beam shot up to the night skies of Hueco Mundo. Every Hollow in Hueco Mundo was able to see the shining beam.
The beam disappeared and dispersed everywhere, breaking the very ground that they were standing on.
It revealed Ichigo to be in his mastered Shikai form. His skin is as pale as Zangetsu's and a part of his Vasto Lorde mask was still on the right side of his face, covering his right eye and some parts of his cheek. His horns made it even more menacing.
Baraggan laughed arrogantly. " Hahahaha!!!! Just because you entered your transformation doesn't mean you would be able to defeat me! You will turn into nothing when you even approach me!" Baraggan shouted crazily. Ichigo looked at him with a calm expression, angering Baraggan even more.
'The fusion process is starting. You will see the progress of it in your floating rectangle thing that you always look at. ' Mimihagi explained. Ichigo widened his eyes at being so casually revealed in his biggest secret.
'Relax. It's not like I'm going to tell everybody. We could always see it just like you can, we just didn't bother mentioning it since it only benefited you more than anything. ' Mimihagi reassured. Ichigo sighed.
[Fusion process with Mimihagi started. The process will stop at 10% since this is how much Mimihagi will allow you to be fused with him.]
[1%... 2%..... 3%.....]
As the percentage bar went up every few seconds. Ichigo felt a tingling sensation on his right arm. It felt like he was attaching his arm to sticky slime.
His arm was slowly covered by a black tint. It started from his fingers and slowly covering his hand.
"Have you already accepted that you will die!? I hope you did! I don't want to waste my time killing stragglers!!" Baraggan kept on spouting shit from his skeleton ass. Ichigo kept quiet like a man.
[9%.... 10%. Fusion process completed]

By now, Ichigo's right arm was covered in a black tint. It was the blackest of the black. A shadow couldn't even begin to compare to the color.
Suddenly, a single large black colored eye opened on the back of Ichigo's fist. The sclera of the eye was yellow.
"Finally. I can see the outside world for myself now." Mimihagi muttered with relief in his voice. Baraggan was staring at Ichigo's black arm intently.
" What's that.... Even his Reiatsu changed. It feels more divine.... " Baraggan muttered in disbelief. He snorted.
" As if he could bypass Senescencia." Baraggan grumbled. Ichigo kept staring at Baraggan. The color of his eyes had turned into reddish-brown for some odd reason.
"We'll see who has the last laugh.....

(Those reddish-brown eyes remind me of Yhwach's eyes for some odd reason.)
