Chapter 145: Toyed With

"I have to admit, I was expecting quite a bit more from you humans! None of you seem to be truly competent."

The strange woman dragged her eyes over the bodies of every blessed present. 

Like a powerless mortal coming across a higher being for the first time, they could do nothing but shudder in front of her intimidating gaze. 

However, Morgan and a few other guild leaders remained unafraid and boldly stepped forward with their weapons drawn. 

The vampire smiled beautifully at the four men who seemed above the rest of the rabble and she couldn't contain her excitement any longer. 

"It's been so long since we've had a good meal so I know we're all a bit excited, but try to save those four for me, okay?"

Morgan was the only one who had some inclination of who this strange woman could be talking to, and his eyes immediately went to the trees surrounding them.
