Chapter 2: Prelude
Astrid is always looking at her back every time she walk alone because of the strange feeling that she is experiencing almost every day. She can only breathe easily when she finally get home and her grandmother will meet her at the front door. Her grandma is the only one she have right now.
She don't want to tell her the weird things thats happening to her because her grandmother is too old to handle it and she's worried that there is something will happen to her by telling it.
She feels like someone is watching her everytime that she walks her way home. It was as if she was monitored by everything she's doing. She's annoyed because their house is in a secluded place. Surrounded with large trees. The road was rough and bumpy thats why she always bring her slippers so that she would not have difficulty in going home. There are no public vehicles passing by in their area because the road is not good so she still have to walk for about 15 minutes just to get a jeep to her work place.
Astrid...
In an instant she walked fast because of the rough voice she heard everytime she go home late. She always tell herself that its all in my mind. That its all hallucinations.
Astrid...
She shook her head and just ran towards the house. He kept calling her and trying to not listen to him.
"Stop .. Please stop .. P-please!" She shouted.
