Chapter 5: STRAWBERRY GIRL
"Luke, what's wrong?". Drew noticed his Alpha stopped speaking and he seems very angry.
Ordinary students below are now making buzz noises. They've noticed Luke paused for a long time. While the members of Luke's Pack are feeling terrified. They can sense the killing intent of their Alpha up in the stage.
Luke move away from the mic and whispered to his Beta. "I want to kill them".
"Who?". Drew who was flustered by the moment also felt the killing intent of his Alpha and he is getting worried. "Try to control yourself and your wolf. We don't want to cause trouble for this young humans". He looked down and he can smell some panic and tensions from the people below. Then a growl caught his attention. "Luke listen to me..... did you sense your mate here?". He has no other idea why Luke is getting angry unless someone made him feel this way.
"My mate is upset and she is very angry. I will kill whoever made her upset". Luke tried to suppress his growl and his rage but his wolf inside is getting in a rampage.
"Ok, let's settle this after you calm down. Go and run for a while. I will take care of this". Drew signaled the other men behind them and they took away Luke. He finished Luke's speech and apologized on his behalf for leaving early. He told them he is not feeling well today. Some people believed him but for some like his kind they know the real reason he took off. He is totally furious and they don't know why.
Luke's guard took him to the forest. In there he shape shift into a giant black wolf and run as fast as a wind. It took him almost an hour to calm himself down by running around in the woods then go back to the same place he was brought. He dressed himself and went back to the Academy.
Drew is still waiting at the auditorium along with some other students who are also a part of their Pack. The ordinary humans are sent back to their respested classrooms. There were also some professors who preferred to wait for him and other faculty members. Also members of their Pack.
All heads turned to the door when they felt a very strong and domineering aura coming in. They bowed their heads when Luke pushed the door open. His raged mellow but can still be felt by his subordinates. This kind of feeling sends shiver to their spines and the tingling feeling of fear creeps into their skin.
Luke walks like a mighty king, which he really is in his pack's eyes. His status and great power can suppress anyone because he is the great Alpha of Shadow Claw Pack. Their kind is living in Clawed City for centuries and they protected this land all their lives. From Luke's great great Alpha grandfather up to him. No one dared to offend the power of Shadow Claw up until now. That's why they are wondering why Luke is very furious this is the first time they see a great anger in their Alpha's face.
"Hail to the mighty Alpha". Everyone greeted him. Something they cannot do in the open unless they are in their own territory, the Stronghold Village.
Luke is breathing heavily, he is trying to control his self. He scanned the remaining people around, his own people. When his eyes landed on the four young lad on his right he felt a rage in his heart. He thought this must be the rage that his Mate felt when she stands here in the same location. His eyes are fixed to the young lads who are still bowing in front of him.
Through the mind link earlier, Luke ordered Drew to let their people wait for him. But this order is special, everyone should stay from where they are since the start of his speech. He planned to walk the path his Mate had been walked.
( Mind link is a connection like a telepathy where all their people can send messages or signal to each other. They can sense one another but as an Alpha he can block anyone or suppress anyone from blocking him. The power of mind link is still based on anyone status. The Alpha and the Beta can call for the whole pack of ten thousand if they wanted to and for some can only handle a few)
Luke stand in front of the four young men. "You four.... Lift your heads". He gave the four young lads a powerful order. He can feel their hesitations but they don't have the power to disobey. "Follow me!". He said as soon as they made an eye contact to him.
The four young lads were frightened but still followed Luke. They need to obey their Alpha. They have no idea what trouble they got their selves into since they haven't bullied anyone in the Academy for a while. Their feet are automatically walking behind the big man but anyone can tell that they are very afraid. Their eyes are like lost puppies while following the big bad wolf.
Some Professors are surprised when the four young lads were taken away by their Alpha they have no idea what this four did. They know how naughty this group are but no one filed any complaint against them since their Alpha ordered all their youngsters not to bully anyone specially girls and transferees. But Professor Medina on the other hand have a slight idea on his mind. One of the lad is his student and he did something odd this morning. The corner of his lips lift a bit. He felt a little joy for his nephew Luke.
Deans Office.
Luke is now sitting on the leather chair behind a big oak table. In his left is his uncle the Dean of their Academy a former Beta while Drew is in his right. The four young lads are standing in front of him still engulfed with fear.
"Sam, Mark, Kevin and Clint.... Sons of my great warriors". He paused after saying this and look at them one by one. "Your fathers are a very proud men. Honest and very loyal to the pack. I can sense how big their hearts when they talk about their sons in line with their bloods". He keeps staring at them. "Now tell me, what did you do this morning?".
"Great Alpha we don't understand what are you talking about we behave really well today". Mark speaks in full honesty. He really have no idea what they did this morning.
A loud growl echoed inside the office and the four lads trembled in fear.
"Search your memory well". Luke's powerful voice echoed inside the room and create some tremors.
The four boys are looking at each other with great confusion on their faces. All they can remember is going to their respective classroom. Sam and Mark goes to a different subject while Kevin and Clint goes under Professor Medina's class.
"Okay let me give you a hint". Luke is becoming impatient. He can see an honest confusion in their faces. "STRAWBERRY!".
"Strawberry girl?". Kevin blurted out and three of his friends looked at him.
"Moon?". Clint remembers her and his three friends turned their head to him.
Luke squinted his eyes. He don't understand what they are talking about.
"Is there a new student here?". Drew asked them directly.
"Yes Sir.... And she have a very fascinating name". Clint said in a serious manner.
"What's her name?". Luke felt some excitement inside him and the tension in the room seems to lessen.
"Selena Moon". Clint replied.
"And she loves strawberry". Kevin added.
"And why do I have this feeling that she hated you for that". Luke's eyes sharpened and he is glaring at them again. The tension came back.
"Stupid!". Sam murmured to Kevin.
Luke heard what Sam said and asked Kevin directly. "Tell me what did you do?".
Kevin gulped down hard. He is shaking because the idea came from him. "We heard her praying to have at least a slice left of a strawberry cake in the canteen". He stopped.
"And?".
"We bought the last piece".
"Did you eat it?".
"No Sir we throw it in the left over bin and she looked at it after. She stands there for a minute like she was looking inside the coffin". Mark finished the story in full honesty. He knows there is something wrong the way his two idiots friends behave earlier. Now their small prank will cost them big.
"You little idiots!". Luke growled and a loud BAM followed. The old oak table almost break in half.
The Dean's eyes slightly gazed his table and frowned. Then throw the young lads a dagger look.
The four lads can sense another danger from the former Beta. Now their fears becomes double.
