Chapter 10: Chapter 10

It was a beautiful day for a match, the sun was shining and the field was in perfect condition. Reo's school team, "Kyoto Sainou FC" was ready for the game, their opponents were a tough team, but Reo and his teammates were confident in their abilities.

As the game began, Reo could see the resolve in his teammates' eyes. They were all focused and ready to give it their all. Reo himself felt a rush of adrenaline as he took his position on the field.

The first half of the game was intense, both teams were evenly matched and the score remained 0-0. But as the second half began, Reo's team stepped up their game. They communicated well and played as a cohesive unit, following their previously prepared strategies.

Reo, in particular, was on fire. He was dribbling with ease and making precise passes to his teammates. His movements were fluid and graceful, making it look like he had been playing football his entire life. When in reality, only about 5 months have passed since he started.

As the clock ticked down, Reo's team was leading by a goal. The opposing team tried their best to score, but Reo and his defense held strong. The final whistle blew, and the game was over. Reo's school had won, and they were moving on to the next round of the elimination phase.

The team celebrated their victory, and Reo couldn't help but feel proud of himself and his teammates. They had worked hard and it had paid off.

...

After the match Reo went out with Yuna and Nagi.

And as they walked through the streets, Yuna linked arms with Reo, a wide smile on her face. Nagi, on the other hand, was dragging himself behind them, clearly still exhausted from the match they played a little earlier today. "Man, I'm so tired," Nagi groaned. "I can't even play mobile games right now."

Reo chuckled at his friend's complaints. "Come on, Nagi. Let's go do something fun. How about karaoke?"

Yuna's face lit up at the suggestion. "That sounds like a great idea! I love karaoke."

Nagi groaned again. "I don't know if I have the energy for that."

But Reo was persistent, and eventually, he managed to convince Nagi to come along. As they walked into the karaoke bar, the three of them couldn't help but laugh at Nagi's lazy attempts to sing. Despite his lack of enthusiasm, they still had a great time, laughing and singing the day away.

...

As Reo sat in front of his computer, scrolling through various videos of football matches. A knock was heard and his door opened.

"Reo, there's a letter for you," his mother said as she entered his room.

Reo looked up from his computer, surprised. "A letter? For me? Who would send me a letter?"

"I don't know, but it looks important. It's from the Japan Football Association," his mother replied, handing him the envelope.

Reo sat in his room, staring at the letter that his mother had just brought to him. He couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion as he read over the contents of the letter. It was indeed from the Japan Football Association, inviting him to participate in their 'Player Improvement Project'. But where had he heard of this before? He racked his brain, trying to remember where he had come across this information.

As he sat there with furrowed brows in confusion, trying to recall where he had heard about such a thing before, something clicked in his mind. Suddenly, a memory from his previous life came to mind. He remembered his friend, Jim, talking to him about a football anime. At the time, Reo was only interested in basketball, so he had dismissed Jim's enthusiasm and didn't pay much attention. But, out of curiosity, he decided to watch a few episodes. However, after that, he completely forgot about its existence.

As he sat there, staring at the letter, a realization dawned on him. Could it be possible that he was reincarnated in this anime world? What was it called? B-B... Blue Lock!

Reo's eyes widened, the thought of being reincarnated in Blue Lock both excited and terrified him. He knew he had to find out more answers about this by joining this Player Improvement Project, and find what it could mean for him and his future in football.

Excited, Reo called Nagi.

"Hey man, did you get that letter from the Japan Football Association?" Reo asked.

"Yeah, I did. I'm too tired to even think about it right now," Nagi replied, his voice groggy and lazy.

"We should go. Pack up and get some quality sleep, Nagi," Reo said, excitement creeping into his voice.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll see you tomorrow then," Nagi said before hanging up.

Reo couldn't contain his excitement as he thought about the possibilities if he really was in the universe of Blue Lock. He couldn't wait to go and check it out himself. Reo turned off his computer, and packed some clothes.

After that he called Yuna and sat on his desk tk write a letter, which took him quite the time, but he managed to finish it rather quickly. Then he headed towards his father's office.

If this was Blue Lock Universe, then the project should excalate at world stage level or atleast it would have to... it was kind off a risk thinking it would excalate to that stage but nevertless it was a golden opportunity from the view of a businessman. Without risks there would be no rewards. He would discuss it with his father, this project could do both of the things his father told him to balance, no, even better it would make him thrive in both!

With a huge grin, Reo knocked the door of his father's office.
