Chapter 66: CHAPTER 62
At the end of the last class, Gohru just sighed at the finale of the class. Math was always his strong subject, but all the differentiation and integration had been grating his brain up and down.
He hated calculus so much.
The teacher, Ectoplasm-sensei left once the class finished, but not before giving homework.
"Self-Practices 2.1 to 2.5 by the end of this week. I'll see you all tomorrow."
After hearing the satisfying sound of his neck cracking, he stretched his back before keeping his stationary and books into his bag, sighing as he recalled the past science class just two hours ago.
He had finally caught up to his mentality when it came to science academics, which was frightening since he had never been one that loved science subjects like Biology or Chemistry. At least Physics was fine, it had math and stuff that he could work with, but overall, he hated science.
Looking over the class, he sees that Midoriya had a thoughtful face. He must have talked to All Might earlier during break time —
'Oh... Fuck...'
He had taken the opportunity of him not shattering his arm when using One for All, during USJ. In canon, he used One for All without shattering his arm when protecting Asui from Shigaraki and hit the Nomu, but with him interrupting them...
"Ah... Crap."
This was bad, him changing the plot made it so that Midoriya did not know that he could channel One for All in low percentages instead of full 100% Smashes only. He had to do something about this.
'And keep track of any important moments too...'
Remembering that they had a group chat, Gohru quickly added Midoriya's number to make sure that he did not forget about his mistake to the plot.
'Maybe even training him a little, god knows what would happen if he used 100% with martial arts.'
Ashido-san's dancing flexibility and prowess had already made her a good out-boxer, and a Yaoyorozu with skilled Staff mastery showed the potential of her Quirk and abilities.
Noting mentally to call him when Denji and him were sparring, he finished packing his bag and got up to see a lot of students outside their class.
'Oh, right... This event.'
He should really start recalling the events of BNHA.
Eyeing on a Denji that looked like he was about to bolt, he power-walked and grabbed him at the back of the collar when Denji found an opening in the crowd through the back door.
"No, no, no. You're not going anywhere."
He said with a sinister smile as Denji started tearing up, anime style.
"P-Please, have mercy."
He pleads as Gohru started chuckling darkly, a dark aura starting to surround his body, making the other students who were watching them shiver, praying at the fate of Denji.
"Mercy? What's that? A meal?"
Denji screamed silently as Gohru pulled him to the entrance. Well, since they were all gathered here, he could move his plan forward then... And he was a petty guy that liked to flex his strength silently.
It's like killing two birds with one stone.
"Out of my way, extras."
Bakugo said to the crowd with a menacing face, facing them head on, which prompted Midoriya's group (Read: Iida) to start berating him. Moving to the front, a boy with purple hair walked in front of Bakugo before resting his hand to his nape, scratching it.
"I came to see what the famous1-A was like... but you, seem to be pretty arrogant."
Shinso Hitoshi said as he just sighed.
"Are all students in the hero course like this? What a disappointment, seeing something like this makes me disillusioned..."
Looking dead into Bakugo's seething eyes, he continued.
"There are quite a few people who enrolled into the general studies or other courses because they didn't make it into the hero course. Did you know that?"
"Of course we did."
Gohru who pulled Denji, walked up to the entrance and stood directly opposite of Shinso. Looking at him, more specifically, his body, Gohru just sighed as he pushed his hair up to not block his vision of the crowd.
"And instead of the people who got into the minor courses, we entered and successfully got into the hero course... Now, why is that I wonder?"
Gohru asked no one.
"That's because you all are blessed with powerful Quirks! Some of us aren't so lucky, you know — "
"What defines powerful?"
Shinso shut his mouth when Gohru glared at him.
"It's true that not all Quirks are powerful, but it's the user that decides if it's powerful or not."
"That's not fair for you to say, World Champion! Your Quirk is powe — "
"How many push-ups do you do daily? Every one of you?"
He interrupts Shinso, asking this to everyone in the crowd.
"200 every day!"
A familiar voice rang out, looking in the crowd, he finds the source. Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, a 1-B class student. Looking at Shinso for an answer, he mutters out a number.
"50."
"Do you know what my Quirk is? It's Adaptability. It makes my body adapt at least 5 times more."
"Isn't that what I mean? That Quirk is so power — "
"I do 1000 push-ups a set."
That shut him up as he along with the crowd and his class gaped at the amount.
"I do 10 sets of cardio daily, and then weight training for another 10 sets. Then, I shadow-box and train my martial arts for another 2 hours straight, and I've been working out less ever since the Martial Arts Tournament. Before that, I did 25 sets of everything. Don't say that my Quirk is "powerful"!
What I do is all because of my hard work, which you don't know since you only do a measly 50 per day!"
He starts raising his voice, annoyed at his dedication. What kind of person wishes to become a hero with such limited training?
"I think... That all you do is blame society for your Quirk, when all I do is all fucking physical! I could crush rocks into dust with my hands, and it's not because of my fucking Quirk! It's because I spend almost 6 hours a day training my ASS off! I wasted my fucking childhood to get this strong!
So. The reason why some of you, are not in the hero course is because of your Quirk, no, it's because of your laziness, your instinct to blame others, and wavering will to be a strong person!
Now, fuck off and move away! I'm going to train now, you've all wasted my time already talking to filth who can't even dedicate their times right. Goodbye."
Pushing him to the ground, he looks at the crowd once more before yelling.
"FUCK OFF!"
That seemed to dispel the spell as they scrambled to run and give way for him and Denji who was still being held in his hand, walking away from his class with a slight stomp in his movement.
"... Wait, Denji-nii! What are you cooking for dinner?!"

"ARGH! I'M SO SICK OF FUCKING IDIOTS THINKING THAT QUIRKS ARE EVERYTHING!"
Gohru yells as he swung a low kick at Denji who raised his leg to avoid it before countering it with a Red Phoenix.
BANG!
He slams his foot onto the floor which caused a shockwave to emit from the ground, but Gohru knew of its side effect, back stepping a few feet to dodge the shockwave.
"Well don't take your anger out on me!"
Denji said with a hint of fear as he had already been smacked, jabbed, and punched by Gohru for almost four rounds already. Gohru just growled as he throws a Black Turtle before transitioning it to an Arang at Denji to the face.
Four Gods: Black Turtle.

"Use your legs more! Kick more for god's sake!"
Denji blocked the Arang with his palms, taking his advice. Turning the elbow so that it would be awkward for Gohru's positioning, Denji threw out a roundhouse kick to the head.
Gohru just blocked it easily by raising his leg, meeting the kick with his shin.
"Good! Use them more!"
He said as he used Hoe Grab with his leg, pushing Denji's leg down before going for a quick triple consecutive kicks.

That caused Denji to fall to the ground with a hard THUD, causing him to groan in pain, thinking of only one thing.
