Chapter 50: Legends die (part 15)

Jason paces in the library he and Alex had set up in several of the rooms as he is filled with unusual emotions. The clan is doing more than well standing nearly 300 strong and well equipped. And yet he felt an emptiness inside. "I guess even i miss him as well." Jason sighs to himself as he sits down in a chair beside a table. "It is so strange that with all I've done to him and made him into and felt towards him i miss Riley so much." Jason shakes his head and places it on the table. The youngest brother was not unaware of his mistakes or the consequences of his schemes but now that they were all safe and sound with no real worries about the things they would need he found himself longing to start things anew. "Rat do you copy?" Jason sniffs into his walkie. "Yeah whats up?" Rat answers. "I imagine you have found our brother by now can you switch over to the group channel i have some things i need to say to everyone including you and Tank." Jason smiles to himself as a small amount of fear curled in his stomach but it was consumed faster by the boys desire to mend his new family. "Alright we are on the channel whats up?" Rat asks. "People of 13 clan this is Jason as my brothers call me its a name I've cherished since Riley first called me it for my obsession with the films and horror in general, my real name is Perry Wayne Lowson." Jason takes a deep breath. "I hope you can understand Ri i didn't do what i did to destroy you I'm weak i cant run and i can barely fight and for as long as we have known each other i was scared of you for what you did to my leg granted i now fully understand why, please forgive me big brother in doing these things I've made you hate me and those few weeks before and after the fall i love you brother and i have done." Jason takes a deep breath trying to gather his emotions as tears begin falling from his cheeks. "A fucking horrible job of showing it like you would say i wish i would have thought of this a long time ago, people of 13 clan when we first woke from the coma and the world was ended i manipulated Riley into becoming a weapon to protect me i turned him against himself and others and made him more and more fierce to build a legend and when it started to leave my ability to control i manipulated others to be against him to push him away so i would remain relevant i pushed him to kill humans and to become cold and cruel i guilt tripped him to isolate himself away from the rest of you i made sure he was always on the front line of danger to be rid of him because i wanted to be the hero of crystal lake and the fort i made sure we didn't search for him even though we should have immediately when we thought we lost him i am a horrible creature and I've kept things from all of you." Jason begins sobbing as he loses control of his emotions. "Seriously little man how fucking stupid do you think i am?" Riley's voice barks over the radio tearing into Jason's little heart. "I'm so sorry Riley." Jason cries. "I've known from the beginning what you were doing and i don't hate you little man i don't like you." as Riley speaks the people of 13 clan stand shocked at the things they were hearing as well as the fact that Riley was in fact real. "But what older brother does actually like their little brother?" Riley laughs over the radio. "I love you too you little shit all i wanted was for you to admit what you did I've got some shit i have to finish here but ill come back and see you soon now stop whining." Riley says. "Riley there is something me and Mrs. Shelly found we need to tell you about." Jason says quickly. The door to the library slams open nearly coming off its hinges. "Did you do this to me too" Slim signs to Jason panting with rage. "Yes i manipulated you as well brother and i'm sorry." Jason confesses. Slim rubs his face for a moment and walks over to Jason scooping him up into a hug. "I forgive you." Slim manages aloud without his tongue. Slim sets Jason down in his chair and places his hands on his lap before wiping the tears from his face. Then he pulls the large knife out of the back of his head.
