Chapter 3: It's Been A Long Time
"Look at this, we got more than 20 gold coin today."
"Somehow..." Kire muttered.
"Kire, your big brother is doing his best. So why not giving him a good dinner today?"
"Ah... for sure." Like always, a big eater.
After they went back from hunting, they went to the market to sell the material. They get more money than usual because the boar skin is pretty expensive.
They usually earn 5-10 gold coins per day. But today for the first time, they finally got more than 10 gold coins.
In this country, gold coins are the highest currency. And there are also silver coins where 100 silver coins have the same price as 1 gold coin. So if people get paid more than 1 gold coin is good enough.
"Oh yeah, the city is quite busy today. Did something happen?"
There are tons of people on the streets shopping. Even the shops were normally empty, so many came to buy goods. Not only that, but there are also many people waiting for restaurants that are not yet open.

Nare then hoop out from his bed and went to the kitchen for dinner.
They both live alone in their family home. They are the ones who look after everything, even paying taxes and various things for the house. Causing them to work even harder than any normal children who wants to be an adventurer.
"What's our dinner for today?" Nare then sits on the chair. "Another meat pie?"
Meat pie is a food that Leo makes when we are trying to cook. And it turns out it tastes really good. Therefore, Kire asked for the recipe and often cooked this for meals at home.
"Yeah. What's wrong with it? You like it too right, brother?"
"I mean yes, that's very good. But you cook it like every day. Don't you feel tired of eating the same food every day? "
"Don't be picky, brother."
How is that picky? Nare sighed. Well, whatever. She is the one who cooks for our dinner, so it's up to her.
Although they are not supported by their families, their daily lives are going quite well. Because they have friends who support them all the time.
After finishing dinner, Kire washed the dishes and returned to his room. On the other hand, Nare came out to the front yard.
"Alright, I already eat, I'm also tired for today. But the day isn't over yet. I still got things to do."
Nare then closes his eyes. Hold his breath and then opened his eyes.
Still not enough.
Every day he always does this. After he finished eating dinner, he immediately went outside to meditated.

Kire suddenly appeared at the entrance with her pajamas.

Kire also looked at his brother with a flat face. "Really? It's been a long time, brother. How many years already? 12 years?"
"10 years!!! And it's not a long time if you count it from the time I started getting serious about it. "
Kire then smiled. "Alright, I'll leave. Have fun, brother."
Then she returned to her room .
"Ah, wait a minute."
"What's wrong, brother?"
"Do not worry. We'll be fine, and our dreams will come true."
Without saying anything, Kire waved her hand and went into the house.
The night is still long for them. But the time is not long. In the end, they will all try to achieve their dreams without being supported by anyone other than themselves.
Brother, I know I'm nervous. But you must be too right? I mean, we're going to leave our childhood place and maybe we'll never come back here.
Kire saw his brother still meditating outside. And then she went back to her room.

He yawned.
It's the middle of the night, but tonight is still very crowded. Lot's of people still gathering in the center of the town. They all are preparing for the tomorrow's festival.
Leo always goes out of town every night. And always go to the same place to see the night moon.
I'm tired...
"It's almost time for me to head back." He then jumped out from the fence. "Alright, let's go ho-?"
Before he landed on the ground, he saw two men in mysterious hoods enter the city. No one else is aware of its existence.
"Weird... the guard should've notice them. Well, for now let's just have a rest."
He then head back to the village.
I, Leo is strong enough to defeat them alone. But if I try to attack them now, it will be bad for the other villager. I'm going to let you off tonight.
