Chapter 5: THE SCHOOL OF ABILITIES
Soon some noticed that there was someone who had come later in taxi.A man came from the bad of the taxi about to throw up while a boy came from the driver's seat throwing the keys to the driver.
" Thanks man."
"You can keep the change." Hedrick said as he headed to the back of the taxi where robotics arms had placed his suit case to the ground.He was wearing a white t-shirt with blue jeans with a black leather jacket on top.
"Hedrick,you can do it."he said to himself as he used his left hand to hit in his chest.
He then gave a big sigh and then headed forward to the group that had been seeing him.
"Who do you think that one is?" One of the boys who was behind Oliver's back asked.
Oliver Blade was the son of the third most powerful vampire family on the planet, Blades.
" Well he seems to be from an ordinary family." Oliver said
"Seems we will have some money soon." She said with a smile.
Mayla had not paid any attention to any of the things that had taken place,all she wanted to see was her mother who was nowhere to be seen.
Hedrick then joined them but soon could feel that there near around that place was someone he had met.
"Could it be Zed he thought?"he thought
"No,it can't be him."
"I'll soon find out."
He then joined the group as many eyes that had been fixed on him were beginning to move away.But his handsome face was eye catching to most girls who had placed their eyes on him. Soon a group of men and female teachers dressed in brown long clothes came in with boxes. Soon on a voice was heard as came through the speakers of the school.
"We welcome all of you the first years to be in the new opening of the first semester. I'm the principal of the school you can also call me Mr.Problem."
Chuckles could be heard among the students but the teachers were emotionless.
"Well the only thing you have do to pass the test is to wear the wrist watch being presented to you by the teachers."
As soon as everyone had finished putting on the wrist watches. He continued.
"Well,seems all of you are fast learners. Once you put on that watch it will never get off until you finish studying in this school. Well we don't suspend or expel students but punish."
A devilish smile could be seen on some of the teachers' faces.
"Well,it seems this is going to be fun." Said Hedrick as some students near him turned around to look at the guy speaking.
"Why do you say so? as one boy who was wearing round glasses.
"Because I love to see people experience pain bit by bit."he replied.
When Oliver had heard what Hedrick had just said, he began to gain more interest in the new boy who had arrived and so had some teachers.
"Well the watches you are wearing have stopped you from using any powers or abilities."
As one of the boys near Oliver tried to run around he found himself jogging.
Chuckles could be heard among the students who had seen what had happened.
"Wow it's getting more exciting." said Hedrick with a smile.
"I never knew that this school had this much fun."
" The watches will be used for purchasing things in school as you can more points from fights in the arena and completing tasks.They will also help us find you anywhere in case of trouble or when needed. The watches currently show level one where you will evolve from until you reach level 10 as the highest.
A few have been able to reach level 8 so good luck. You are around 100 students who have been admitted. Your watch shows the group you have been placed randomly either ABCD or E and further dived into rooms shown by stars. Of course Girls dormitories are separate from the boys'. With all that, the teachers will lead you to your dormitories.
Any questions? You can speak through your watches as a red light could be seen blinking."
"Are we allowed to get girlfriends and boyfriends?"one of the boys near Oliver asked.
"Yes.As long as you don't have sex.'' replied Hedrick before the principal had even replied.
The audience turned around to look at the one who was speaking including teachers.
"Yes, as long as you stay in your limits unless you want to meet the deputy principals."
"How did he know?" Whispers could be heard everywhere as others were trying to figure which family he came from.
"But came from a taxi." A boy called Max as he name was on his shirt.
"Seems to be trying to show off to avoid the rich guys from hurting him or he is hiding his identity."A boy named Tum replied also having his name on his shirt.
That showed that they had come from the Show Off family. The show off family was one of the most powerful human families on the planet.
"Well,seems we shall find out tonight."said Oliver as he warmed his hands. Hedrick moved to Oliver and whispered into his ear
"As long as you don't cross the line." He went back as he stood once again near his suit case.The teachers could see the events that were happening and some of them had began gaining interest in the new boy. The teacher began diving the group into their respective group and later led them into their respective dormitories. As for the rooms, one could find them using his own watch.
The dormitories had been divided into ABCD and E as the teacher had said. Hedrick found that he was in B and so was Mayla although none of them had seen each other. Oliver himself was in B but his friends had gone in a separate dormitories.Then as for the rooms, Oliver's had three stars while Hedrick's had four. The last room in the dormitory B for boys opposite to that of Oliver.
The dormitories where buildings painted blue.Each building had one floor. Kids from big families stayed in the first floor while ordinary stayed in the basement floor.
