Chapter 7: BNS Chapter 7 — The Open Day

Walking through the colorful streets of Ponyville, Alan often received friendly glances from the surrounding ponies waving their hoofs. He was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere prevailing here, and felt incredible peace of mind while being here.

Various bright houses, yellow and beige shades, lush and green trees growing here and there, friendly and lovely inhabitants - all this created the impression of a small utopia.

Ponyville, surprisingly, turned out to be much larger than Al originally thought. When he looked at this town on the show, he got the impression that the whole city is less than one block from his hometown in his world. But in fact, Ponyville turned out to be more than this four times, if not five times, and there were a huge number of houses that were apparently off-screen.

This definitely made it difficult for Alan to navigate the city, given how few locations and neighborhoods he saw on the show. He was trying to find something familiar, and all he could see was Twilight's castle of friendship standing somewhere in the distance.

Sitting on a random bench, Alan thought about it.

«As usual, I need to be consistent. What do I need first of all?»

After some thought, Al finally drew up a plan.

«Considering that I'm new to this city, and I'm going to settle here, it is likely that I will need to visit the city office for registration, which means I need to find the town hall. Fortunately, I had already seen it in the show, and it was a very noticeable building. Then, it would be nice to buy yourself some clothes. Yes, ponies mostly walk without it, but damn, I miss the feel of the fabric that snuggles me. I feel naked all the time, and this sometimes makes me uncomfortable.»

— I guess I've figured out the initial plan of action, so we can go in search of the town hall.

Before Alan could get up, he heard an angry voice.

— Oh, you little wretch! Do you have any idea how much this jacket costs?

Looking at the source of the voice, Al saw an adult gray pony in a stained jacket, mustache and hat, who was most likely an aristocrat, viciously cursing a small orange filly pegasus with a purple mane.

Alan immediately recognized her as Scootaloo, one of the three Cutie Mark Crusaders. On the ground, between Scootaloo and the swearing pony, lay a green ice cream that had already melted. The stain on the aristocrat's pony's jacket was the same color.

Scootaloo stood holding her scooter with her guilty face down. Alan immediately understood what had happened, as he often saw Scootaloo rushing about on her scooter through the streets of Ponyville, which could well provoke a collision, especially if your attention is absorbed by delicious ice cream.

— I… I'm sorry. I didn't notice you, and... I didn't want to…

— It is because of ignorant ponies like "YOU" I DO NOT like to visit this provincial town!

The gray pony interrupted her. As he said this, he jabbed his hoof roughly in the direction of Scootaloo, thus upsetting her even more. Alan clearly didn't like his attitude, but then, he heard something that completely pissed him off.

— To spoil such a jacket! You have to pay me compensation, both for the jacket and for moral damage. 100 BITS, NOW!

Scootaloo looked frightened, and a slight moisture appeared in her eyes, but she continued to courageously hold on, trying not to cry.

— BUT... But... I don't have... such…

Not wanting to endure it any longer, Alan headed towards the conflict, thinking at the same time.

«I'll show you the moral damage, you asshole.»

Passing the gathered onlookers, he snorted looking at their hesitant faces, and stood in front of the screaming pony, while covering the pegasus filly with his hoof, Alan said.

— You have nothing more to do than pester the filly?

The pony aristocrat was surprised at first, and quickly shifting his displeased gaze to Alan, snorted.

— Mind your own business pleb, until you regret it. I have to teach this brat a couple of manners!

Alan's eyes narrowed at this person. He finally began to realize that such individuals can be found in any world. As a former human who constantly dealt with assholes of various kinds, he knew how to act in this situation. And given the relaxed mentality of the local population, it will not be difficult.

With a slight smile, he said with a certain feigned intonation.

— Maybe before you teach the manners of someone else, you must first learn them yourself?

The ponies around gasped, and began to whisper, not expecting such an introduction from a stranger. Scootaloo, with her wet eyes, looked at Al with gratitude.

The pony in the jacket was completely pissed off, because he did not think that someone would dare to contradict him in this town. He glared at Alan, and said.

— Do you even know who I am? I am…

— A pony who can't afford a laundry service?

— HOW DARE YOU! I'm Coins Fly! From the Fly family!

Many of the ponies in the crowd seemed to recognize the name, and became a little more wary. Alan just grinned and answered.

— So THIS is the name of the most beggar family in Equestria - Fly! Now i get it.

— B… BEGGAR!?

— Well, of course! How else can you explain the fact that you are begging for money to clean a jacket from a little filly, which doesn't even work yet, and she basically has no money.

As the crowd whispered and chuckled a little, Coins grew more and more embarrassed. With a wink at the cheered Scootaloo, Alan continued his tirade.

— And although I don't see a leak yet, I'm quite sure that you have clearly broken the bottom, Mr. Coins of the Fly family.

— You... you...!

Coins tried to answer, but the laughing ponies around was shattering his fervor more and more, and the growing embarrassment deprived him of his former confidence.

— Ah, сome on bro, don't worry so much. I'm sure that we, Ponyville ponies, although not very rich, can get you a few bits to go to the laundry. Am I right, everypony?

Alan turned to the crowd, thereby surprising them, but they quickly smiled, and stamping their hooves nodded their heads in agreement with his words. Satisfied with the result, he returned his gaze to Coins, and taking out a coin, Al added with a smile.

— See? Here, take a coin, Mr. Coins, and "Fly" out of here quickly in the direction of the laundry, before the opinion of the townspony about your family didn't break the "second" bottom. I'm sure your family will definitely appreciate your contribution to their reputation.

Looking with a frightened gaze at the coin, Coins blushed, and amid the cheerful laughter of the crowd, he quickly left in an unknown direction. Scootaloo also laughed merrily at the trail of the fleeing pony. Before Alan had time to rejoice at his small victory, he heard a bright laugh in the air behind him.

— HAHAHAHA!!! THE SECOND BOTTOM IS BROKEN! Ha ha ha!! F... Fly ... pff... out of here! HA-HA-HA-HA!!!

Turning around, he saw in the air above him a blue pegasus mare. She had a toned athletic body and a rainbow-colored mane. She was holding on to its belly and laughing so hard that it seemed that she was about to fall. Alan stared at her with a bit of surprise as the pony turned out to be Rainbow Dash. At that moment, the orange pegasus spotted Dash, and shouted.

— Rainbow Dash! Have you seen this?

Dash sank down and hugged the filly, then turned her gaze to Alan, still chuckling slightly as she remembered his recent show. Alan smiled at her and said.

— I'm glad to know that the best flyer of Ponyville and one of the Wonderbolts liked my performance.

Hearing this, Dash was surprised and said with a satisfied smile.

— "Liked" is not the right word, it was just HILARIOUS! I've never seen someone be able to put a noble in their place like that. When I first noticed that this snob was sticking to Scootaloo, i wanted to get in and tell him everything i think about him, but I'm glad I didn't have time to do it, because i'm not sure if i could have done it better and funnier than you... Thank you for standing up for poor Scootaloo, she is like a younger sister to me.

Alan laughed slightly and said.

— Don't mention it, anyone would do the same. I just couldn't watch an adult pony do this to a little filly. By the way, i must admit that Scootaloo held up well, she's definitely a tough nut to crack.

The orange filly pegasus smiled proudly, and looking at Dash and Alan said.

— Yeah! Even if you hadn't come, i would have dealt with it myself. I just... Waited for the right moment. Right!

Dash smiled when she saw Scootaloo cheered up.

She looked at Al and said.

— Although you probably already know me, I will introduce myself. My name is Rainbow Dash and I'm Wonderbolt.

Rainbow said with great pride.

Alan just smiled and answered.

— My name is Alan, or simply Al. And yes, how can I not know the most awesome flyer in the Wonderbolts team? This is one of the reasons why Ponyville is so famous, as well as one of the reasons why I moved here.

Rainbow was very pleased with what was said in her address, and therefore smiled like a child. But then, she suddenly realized what Al had said at the end, and looked at him in surprise.

— Stop, are you moving to Ponyville? Awesome! You will definitely like our Town. There is race competition, good training places, oh, and of course my fan club, run by Scootaloo.

At this phrase, Rainbow looked at the orange pegasus, which had already run over to Alan's side, in order to take a closer look at his side. Al and Rainbow were surprised by her sudden interest, but Alan quickly realized what was happening. Scootaloo spoke up.

— You have a very unusual and beautiful cutie mark. What does it mean?

Rainbow also got curious when she saw Al's mark.

Alan embarrassedly scratched the back of his head and answered.

— Honestly, I don't know myself.

Scootaloo's eyes widened at what she heard, and she smiled happily and said.

— Then you are very lucky, because my friends and I are the best helpers in Ponyville, and solving cutie mark problems is our specialty! I'll talk to the girls, and when they find out what you've done, I'm sure they'll immediately agree to take on this business. We will help you find out what purpose your mark has. What do you say?

Alan thought about it, and realized that this is a very good option, maybe they really can help him find out the meaning of his mark, and if not, then at least it will be fun.

— I would be glad to know what my sign means. So sign me up.

Scootaloo was delighted, and saluting with her hoof, she took off on her scooter in an unknown direction. Rainbow Dash accompanied Scootaloo with a warm smile. Alan looked at the blue pegasus and said.

— I heard you said something about training places? Honestly, I also train, well... I trained, due to unforeseen circumstances i have not trained for about a week, and it would be great to return to my previous course.

«After all, I trained regularly when I was human. It would be nice to know what this new body of mine is capable of, since I have no idea what shape I am in now by the standards of the sporting ponies of this world.»

Rainbow suddenly looked a lot more interested after hearing about training. She began to study Al's body, which at first glance did not differ much from an ordinary pony.

But looking closer, Dash began to notice that although his body was not very large, it was in quite good shape. Nothing superfluous, nothing excessive. Everything was exactly where it should be, like an ideal from a picture. For a while, Rainbow stared at Al's muscles and couldn't look away. In a slightly detached voice, she said.

— So, do you… also like training?... I mean... I can tell... I think we could train together sometimes. I'll... show you good places for that.

Al's eyebrow lifted slightly as he watched Rainbow Dash examine his body. Although it was a little embarrassing, he now knew that at least his training in the old world had not gone into oblivion, but transferred to the new one, reflected in his new body. He smiled a little, and slowly walked over to Dash and waved a hoof in front of her face. The mare finally tore her eyes away from him and stared at Al who had come closer. He just kept looking at her and said jokingly.

— This exhibit can not only be examined, but also touched, if you want.

— What...?

Rainbow didn't know what he was talking about at first, but then when she remembered how she was staring at him, she blushed slightly and said laughing.

— O my gosh! It looks like i got a little carried away, he-he…

— Do not worry, you can watch as much as you want, I promise I will not take a fee. Plus, i absolutely don't mind becoming your training partner. After all…

He turned his gaze to Rainbow's rump, and returning the favor, carefully examining every part of her body, glancing over her legs, hips and back. Rainbow was a little embarrassed when she realized that he was starting to do the same thing as her. As Alan examined her, he finished his previous thought.

— Looking at this, I am sure that training with you, I will have "rainbow" prospects.

— Oh yeah? Then let's see how you start talking with my signature exercise course called Rainbow Strike.

With these words, she friendlily tapped Al on the shoulder with her hoof, while still blushing slightly. Alan could not help laughing, and, looking decisively at the mare, answered.

— Oooh, challenge accepted! I don't mind the taste a little rainbow.

Alan and Rainbow continued to fool around for a while, chatting about all sorts of nonsense. Rainbow was surprised how easy it is for her to communicate with Al, especially considering that she is not one of those ponies who like long conversations. Over time, without noticing it, Rainbow began to look forward to joint training.

After a while, finally, remembering the goal, Alan asked the question that interests him at the moment.

— Listen Rainbow, I would like to register in the city, but so far I do not know where the town hall is. It would be great if you could take me there, otherwise I don't want to play the guessing game.

The blue mare hit herself in the chest with a hoof and said.

— No problem. Follow me and try to keep up.

The mare, laughing, flew in the direction she indicated.

Alan was surprised, but quickly pulled himself together and chased her at full speed, and after four minutes they were at the town hall.

On the way, Alan was able to notice several familiar establishments, and began to understand the structure of the town a little better. Standing at the town hall, Alan regained his breath and looked at Dash said.

— Thanks for... the help... When I register, I hope to meet with you soon to start our full training.

— Hah, this is what you say now, because you tried only a small warm-up, but after my full program, you will sing a different tune.

After laughing a little, she continued.

— And you know, I'm glad that I met you, Alan. And by the way, be careful, as this Coins Fly will definitely not forget what happened. His family can definitely get you into trouble.

Recalling past events, she added.

— If then it was me and not you who intervened, then everything would have ended well, since I am an element of loyalty, a friend of Princess Twilight and an amazing Wonderbolts. But you... well... be careful.

— Don't worry Rainbow, I'm quite capable of standing up for myself. This Coins doesn't bother me at all, nor does his family. If they come to me, then I will arrange a rodeo for them, which they will not forget.

Rolling her eyes and shaking her head, Dash smiled and said.

— Okay, cowboy, good luck with the registration, I'll see you when you settle in, I'm sure Pinky will find you by then, and then everyone will know about you.

— Pinky found me already, and yes, she already promised to throw a great party, so I hope to see you there.

Rainbow laughed, and nodding her head, flew away waving her hoof. Alan looked at the mare and turned towards the Town Hall Without hesitation, he entered it.

There was a very spacious room inside. There were sofas at the edges, and a table in the far center, but there was no one behind it. Alan approached the table, expecting that someone would meet him, but after waiting for a while, no one came.

Suddenly, he heard distant muffled voices from behind a door on the second floor, to which led a circular staircase. It was clearly audible that someone was indignant.

Alan thought that it would not be superfluous to check if everything is fine, and he began to climb the stairs. Walking to the door, he was finally able to make out the speech.

The male high-pitched voice sounded in such a typical silly cartoonish manner that Alan couldn't help but smile. Then he heard a second, lower and hoarse voice, which sounded goofy as well.

— Look better, she's the mayor of Ponyville! There must be at least something!

— I repeat to you once again, even if I am the mayor, this doesn't mean that secret wealth is hidden in my town hall. This is just my workplace.

The third voice was female, and clearly belonged to the mayor of Ponyville. Alan didn't expect to bump into troubled ponies again, especially at the Town Hall.

«What the fuck with Ponyville today? An open day for all kinds of assholes?»

— Boss! Let's break her table, maybe she hid the money there?

— Great idea Clumsy! No wonder you are my assistant.

— Thank you Boss! I'll take my club.

— For heaven's sake, this is a regular desk, not a treasure chest. There is nothing more valuable than office supplies and paper. Just grab all the staplers and leave.

Rolling his eyes at the actions of small brain robbers, Alan finally decided to intervene, and opening the door, he entered the office. Immediately, all eyes were on him.

There were three ponies in the office.

The first two were robbers, and the last was Mayor, a late-middle-aged mare with a coffee-blond fur and the ash-colored mane, sitting tied up in a chair in the corner of the office.

One of the robber ponies was a skinny, dark yellow earth pony, and the other was a wide brown unicorn with a patch over his left eye, and both were about the same height. They stared at Al, not knowing what to do, the mayor looking at him too, trying to remember if she knew him or not. Alan examined everyone present and fixed his gaze on the mare. The thin robber spoke in his high-pitched voice.

— Hey, who the hoof are you?

Ignoring the question, Alan silently walked towards the mayor, and under her surprised look, he smiled at her and said.

— I apologize for no knocking, but there was no one below. You are the mayor of Ponyville, right?

The mare nodded in confusion at his question, trying to understand why he was so calm. At the same moment, the thin pony got angry and spoke again.

— Hey! Didn't you hear what I said?

Alan just turned in his direction and pointing with his hoof at the mare, he answered.

— I only heard that this lovely lady asked you to leave.

Alan finished with a wink at the Mayor.

The mare smiled slightly and added.

— That's right, I've told you more than once. I have nothing, so just leave.

The robbers looked at each other with incomprehension, then a large pony unicorn looking at the mayor said.

— We will not leave until we find something to profit from. And you…

Moving his gaze to Alan, he continued.

— Better not interfere with our business, and leave for good. Otherwise, we will take you out of here in a bad way.

Alan only smiled cheerfully at their stupidity, and answered.

— Oh, I would love to see that.

The unicorn pony just snorted and said.

— As you wish, Clumsy, escort our guest out the door.

— With pleasure, boss!

A thin pony began to approach Alan, holding a club in his hoof. Concern appeared on the mayor's face and she turned to Alan.

— You shouldn't risk it for me, just leave.

Alan just looked at the mare encouragingly and smiled at her.

Then he turned his gaze to the pony with the club, and his smile was no longer as friendly as it had been before. It was the look of someone who's seen some shit and isn't afraid to hurt someone.

The thin pony tensed a little when he saw Alan's gaze, but remembering that he was just an unarmed earth pony in front of him, he relaxed and jumped at him, swinging his club.

And so, when the club was about to come down on Al, it slipped out of the skinny pony's hoof, and he just waved his empty hoof.

The club fell on the floor next to him, and Clumsy himself looked at his hoof with an uncomprehending face.

— W... what?

The big pony, seeing this, did a facehoof, and the Mayor, looking at it, laughed slightly.

Alan stood still in the same place without even moving, and with a predatory smile looked at the thin pony. Clumsy looked terrified as he now stood unarmed in front of a pony twice his size.

With a stupid smile, he began to slowly step back until he stopped next to the fallen club. He jumped abruptly and grabbed it from the floor, and again filled with courage rushed to Al.

To everyone's surprise, everything repeated exactly as before. The club slipped out of his hoof and fell to the floor. Alan looked at Clumsy and his smile became more and more perky.

Clumsy felt uncomfortable with this, and he walked away and hid behind a large pony robber. He just rolled his eyes and said.

— What a useless guy. If you want to do something well, then do it yourself.

So saying, he stepped forward, and using magic he lifted the club from the floor.

He stared at Alan and said.

— I apologize for the incompetence of my assistant, as a sign of apology, I will try to be softer with you.

— Oh, it's alright, I'm not in a hurry. Please continue.

This relaxed lightness in his words irritated the big pony, he snorted, and began swinging the club to hit Al harder, but unexpectedly for him, the stick also slipped out of his magical grip, and began to fall down, landing safely on Clumsy's head, taking him out. out of order for a while.

— What? How so?

— You know, you were right when you said that you would get me out of here the "bad way". These were really a "bad way" to do it. Although, to your credit, you two would make a good comedy duo. Personally, I would definitely buy tickets.

— Comedy? How dare you!?

The big pony was indignant, and raising the stick, tried to strike again, but it again jumped out of his magic and fell to the floor. The big pony began to question his own abilities. At that moment, his assistant Clumsy came to his senses.

Seeing this, he was delighted and said.

— Hey, dummy, get up and help me grab this insolent guy!

— Ha? What? Oh... Y... YES BOSS!

They stood parallel to each other, and ran at Al, hoping to knock him down. Alan's eyes narrowed, and he took a half-sitting position, and when they were already quite close, he jumped into the air, helping himself with magic to increase the height.

From the sidelines, the Mayor was shocked by such a trick, she was mesmerized by Al's mane fluttering in the air, giving his image of charm at the moment.

The robbers were surprised, clearly not expecting such a maneuver from the stallion, and they braked sharply. Just at that moment, Alan landed on their backs, standing exactly between them. He grabbed their heads with his front hooves, and bending over said.

— It was fun guys and all, but I think it's time to finish. Good night.

After that, with all his strength, he brought his hooves together, knocking the heads of the dull and dumber, and sending them into the land of dreams. When they fell, Alan landed next to them, and with a last look at them went to the surprised Mayor Mare to untie her.

— My name is Alan, or just Al by the way.

The mare smiled at him and said.

— Nice to meet you Mr. Alan, my name is Mayor Mare. And I must admit, I was extremely impressed with your ability to handle the situation. This "Lovely Lady" thanks you for your help.

The Mayor finished with a light playful smile.

Alan laughed slightly, and also smiling tenderly answered.

— As a gentlepony, I just couldn't leave the beautiful mare in trouble.

While saying this, he freed her from the ropes, and taking her by the hoof, he helped her to stand up. Mayor Mare was flattered and said with a slight playful blush.

— Oh, isn't it a real knight without armor right here? This is good, as it would be very inconvenient to remove the armor.

With that said, the mare put her hoof on Alan's chest, looking into his ruby-red eyes as she did so. Alan was surprised at first, but then he smiled playfully and gently touched her chin with his hoof, said.

— I didn't know that the mayor of Ponyville was such an open and playful mare.

Looking Alan in the eye, the Mayor answered.

— When such a young and handsome stallion shows his interest in a no longer young mare in age like me, I should show a little more enthusiasm to get what I want. Don't you think so?

Catching her obvious signals, Alan brought the mare's face closer to his own, and their faces were almost touching. Feeling each other's breath, Alan said in a gentle voice.

— Oh, I completely agree with you. Unless, I do not see you as a mare in age, but rather the opposite. You look… so damn... tempting.

Hearing his voice, the Mayor practically melted away from the feeling of growing excitement.

Wanting to taste his lips, she cut the last millimeters between them and dug her lips into his. Fortunately for her, the stallion accepted her kiss, and for a while, they remained in that position, exchanging the gentle dances of their tongues. Mayor Mare has long dreamed of meeting a hot stallion, and with each passing year, the chances for this became less and less real.

She could not expect that she would finally meet such an incredible specimen, and even under such unusual circumstances.

— Oh sweet Celestia! This stallion's tongue is too much! If he uses it the same furious way down here, then…

— Mmm…

Thinking about Al's skillful and dexterous work, she began to snuggle closer to him. As soon as she began to get a taste, both the Mayor and Alan heard that someone was quickly climbing the stairs. With great reluctance, they broke the kiss, and literally at the same moment, two guard ponies entered the door, with a brown stallion behind, with an hourglass cutie mark on its side.

When the Mayor saw him, she immediately recognized him as Time Turner, and remembered how she gave him the signal to bring help.

— Miss Mayer, are you okay? I brought in the guards as you requested.

As an experienced politician, the Mayor quickly pulled herself together and said with a stern face.

— I'm fine, this young pony came to my aid and dealt with the robbers. You can take them away.

Saying this, she pointed to the idiot robbers lying on the floor. The guards first looked at each other in surprise, but then nodded to the mayor, and took the robbers away from the town hall. Time Turner came over and said.

— Thank Celestia, you're okay. And you…

The pony wondered, looking at Alan.

— My name is Alan, or simply Al. I just moved to Ponyville today and came here to register in the city. That I came across these troubled ponies is just a coincidence. But I'm glad I was able to help, because I received a good reward.

Saying so, he winked at Mare Mayr, causing her to blush slightly.

Time Turner sighed again and said.

— That's good. Then, if you come to the registration, then I will leave you in the care of the Mayor while I will go and inform the secretary that it is safe here again.

Having said so, he left, leaving Al and Mayr alone.

The mayor turned to Al and said.

— You understand that your reward is not over yet?

Alan answered with a smile.

— I would be disappointed if it ended like this.

The mare laughed and said.

— It's a shame my secretary will be back soon, so we won't have enough time to finish your... reward. So, for now, I'll register you in Ponyville.

— Yeah, I would be grateful.

Quickly finding the necessary papers, the mayor handed them over to Alan. He clumsily signed where necessary, and received the official document of a resident of Ponyville. Al loved how little bureaucratic fuss it took.

When he finished checking his new documents, the Mayor approached him, handing over a small piece of paper.

— Here are my break and finishing schedules, be sure to visit me to receive your full reward.

— Heh, I'll come, don't even hesitate.

The mare nodded, and after thinking a little, asked.

— By the way, does that trick with the robber's baton have something to do with your bracelet?"

Alan tensed a little when he heard this question and looked at the mayor in surprise. The mare smiled slightly and answered.

— I noticed his glow as the stick slipped out. Is this some kind of magical artifact?

Alan smiled and said.

— You can say so. And that's my little secret, so shhh.

Saying this with a hoof in front of his lips, he turned to leave, but suddenly received a small slap on the rump from a beige mare. He looked around in surprise and saw her laughing playfully. Alan could not help smiling, and having sent her an air kiss, left the room.

Standing in the street, he was quite pleased with how everything turned out. There was still some time until the evening, so he decided to look into local clothing stores in order to buy at least something for himself.

«I think it makes sense to visit the Rarity's Carousel Boutique, although it may happen that I don't like anything from her range of outfits. Basically, I didn't really like the outfits shown in the show. Rarity was the only designer whose costumes evoked a positive reaction in me from time to time. Most likely, I'll ask her for something to order.»

— So I will, but first, it would be nice to have a snack, from these showdowns my appetite cleared up.

And Alan did it. After dining at a random restaurant, he went in search of Rarity Boutique, wondering what awaits him there.
