Qiao Anhao looked at Lu Jinnian without saying a word or making a single sound. The car was silent for a minute, until it turned into the car park ahead.

The cinema attendant had already given Lu Jinnian the tickets in advance. When they got out of the car, he also brought along the bag with the blanket and pillows his assistant had prepared for him.

There were ten minutes left before the movie was due to start. Before they went through the ticket inspection, Qiao Anhao ran over to the counter and bought a big box of popcorn and two cokes. Qiao Anhao put the popcorn in-between her and Lu Jinnian's seats. As she stared firmly at the big screen, every now and then she would reach for a popcorn and shove it in her mouth.
