Synopsis
Everyone said the Dragon Prince never kept a partner past sunrise. One night of pleasure, then forgotten—that was Prince Cassian Valtor's ruthless image across the Five Kingdoms. Until the night he caught Lyanna Thorne's smell and couldn't let her go.
For three intoxicating months, he broke every rule, claiming her again and again in his tower rooms. Everyone said she was lucky, that she'd become his princess. Lyanna believed them—until the morning she felt life start in her womb. That same afternoon, Cassian announced his betrothal to Lady Seraphine of House Nightshade, the alliance his kingdom requested.
Shattered and betrayed, Lyanna fled into the Wildlands with nothing but her broken heart and the dragon prince's child growing inside her. She thought she'd fled his world forever. She was wrong.
Cassian has spent four years tearing apart countries to find her, his obsession legendary, his dragon half feral without her. But when he finally tracks her down, she's in the arms of the one man he despises—Kieran Ashborn, the half-blood outcast who claims something impossible: "She carries my soul mark. The gods themselves bound her to me, not you."
Now Lyanna must choose between the prince who destroyed her but can't live without her, and the rogue warrior who's shown her what true devotion means. But when war threatens and old prophecies awaken, her choice will determine the fate of all shifter-kind.

Write a reviewStarted by reading the synopsis, which looked promising, so in I jumped. After less than a dozen chapters, it’s like the author abandoned the original storyline, and dumped half the book, jumping from them meeting each other, to the prophecy and soulmate marks and the other guy showing up, with all hell breaking loose three days later; a brief vague reference to the previous supposed three months in the tower and a pregnancy, but nothing about her running away and him finding her years later in the arms of his rival (the other guy who showed up on day 3). I’m abandoning ship until the author goes back and inserts all the missing chapters to make this story flow as planned.

Wait.... WHAT? What happened to the original story from the synopsis? The 3-month affair? The love of the Prince? The marriage & child that made her flee? This is like a completely different story!
