Chapter 1: Yoonmin (Hybrid)
Yoongi was walking down an alleyway, when he heard a soft whimper coming from a box near him.
He got near to the box, looked inside and saw a Cat lying inside.
The Cat looked like it was starving, cold, and couldn't get itself up. (From Yoongi's view that is.)
The Cat's eyes met with Yoongi's with a bit of tiredness, like it was saying 'please, let me rest here for a while.'
Yoongi being concerned about the Cat, took off his jacket and used it to carry the Cat.
The Cat being confused and scared tried to get out of Yoongi's grip but since he doesn't have enough strength, he can't do what he wants.
(Yes, the cat's a 'he'.)
Yoongi noticed the Cat struggling to get out of his grip but instead of letting the Cat go, he patted it's head, the Cat got shivers after doing so.
Yoongi said soothing words for it to calm down and trust him.
The Cat relaxed a bit but still alert at times.
They both got home safely after a few minutes of walking.
Yoongi put his jacket on the sofa (the Cat still in it) and got inside his kitchen to look for a food that the Cat will like.
Yoongi found a Can of Tuna, he carefully placed it in a bowl and slightly mashed it (not too much to the point it became a bit liquid tuna), so the Cat won't have any trouble chewing on it.
Yoongi returned to the living room to find the Cat asleep on his jacket, he smiled slightly at the sight and thought to leave the food somewhere near the Cat so when it becomes hungry, it'll find it sooner.
Yoongi also put a bowl of water beside the homemade cat food.
Not wanting to wake the Cat up, Yoongi slowly got inside his room and closed the door quietly as possible.
He changed into his pajamas and got ready to sleep in his bed still thinking about the Cat.
'I should bring him to a vet tomorrow.' Yoongi thought and went to sleep afterwards.
The next morning...
Yoongi got up and washed his face in his connected bathroom, forgetting about the Cat in his living room.
He lay down on his bed, wanting to sleep again until his phone rang and vibrated.
He took his phone and looked at the alarm 'Why do I have an alarm?' He thought, thankfully there's a reminder in the alarm he made.
Bring him to the vet. Today.
Was written on it. That's when it hit him, he forgot that he brought a Cat home yesterday and thought of bringing him to the vet today.
Yoongi's thankful that he made an alarm or else he would totally forget about it.
He hurriedly got out of his bed and opened the door.
The first thought that came to him was 'did he eat yet?' And so he looked to where he put the food down and saw that it was emptied clean.
Yoongi sighed in relief that the Cat ate what he gave. He looked at the bowl of water and it was also emptied. 'He must've been really thirsty' Yoongi thought.
He looked at the sofa and saw that the Cat was not there, but instead a teenage boy in his 20's sleeping on it.
Yoongi panicked a bit not knowing what to do, he might've been robbed by this kid but no he doesn't look like one.
He recollected himself and tried to look for the Cat in his apartment but to no vail.
He closed everything yesterday from doors to windows, so the Cat won't get out of his house.
Yoongi cared for the Cat so he doesn't want it to be outside, that's why he locked/closed everything where a Cat can get out.
Yoongi heard a grunt coming from the boy in the living room, he now knows that the boy is awake.
Yoongi got inside his kitchen quietly as possible and got a frying pan as for his defense in case the boy did something to him.
He walked inside the living room and saw the boy rubbing his eyes.
The boy saw Yoongi and greeted him, "Good morning, I'm Jimin by the way."
"Erm...good morning too, Jimin...H-how did you get inside 'my' apartment?" Yoongi asked.
"Didn't you let me in yourself? Did you forgot about it?" The boy, Jimin, asked back.
"Sorry? I don't remember letting anyone...inside....my...apart....ment..." Yoongi thought back and all he can remember is the Cat that he let inside the apartment, his eyes went wide in shock.
"You remember now? Yes, I'm that Cat. By the way, thanks for yesterday." Jimin said smiling a bit.
"Y-you're 'that' Cat?!" Yoongi said emphasizing the 'that' part.
"Yeah." - Jimin.
"I don't believe you!" Yoongi said not truly believing Jimin.
Jimin can't let himself be carried away or else he'll get himself into trouble again but for the sake of this older boy he had to.
Jimin grew a pair of ears and a tail. Yoongi's eyes widened not believing what he just saw.
"Do you believe now?" Jimin said sadly, waiting for his punishment but instead he got patted on his head.
"Yes, I believe you now." Yoongi said smiling, hands shivering a bit.
"You're not gonna throw me away like everyone did after finding out I was a hybrid, right?" Jimin said with his head low, remembering what had happen for the past years.
Yoongi lifted Jimin's head so that they have an eye contact to each other "I won't do that. You're one of those special people in the world." Yoongi assured.
"That's not true...." Jimin said moving his head away from Yoongi's hand and eye contact. "You'll leave me alone like everyone else did."
"I promise. I won't ever do that." Yoongi said, assuring Jimin still patting his head, hand shivers now gone.
"Can I really hold on to that promise of yours?" Yoongi nodded in response.
"By the way, call me Yoongi. I just realized I haven't introduced myself yet." He said smiling.
"Do you really hold on to your promise Yoongi hyung?" Jimin said softly.
"Yeah. I promise I won't leave you like everyone did." Yoongi said.
"Promise?" Jimin said while holding his pinky out.
Yoongi smiled "Promise." He said and intertwined their pinkies together.

It's almost a year since that day and Yoongi still didn't broke his promise to Jimin.
Jimin's happy being with Yoongi but he gets sad easily because Yoongi needs to work almost everyday and gets home really tired.
Jimin cooked dinner for Yoongi today hoping he'll be home earlier than expected, because today's the day Yoongi promised not to leave him alone like everyone else did.
Sadly, Yoongi didn't got home earlier that time. Jimin was really really sad, thoughts ran down his mind.
Thoughts like....
'Did he broke his promise?'
'Did something happen to him?'
'Why isn't he home yet?'
'Is he tired of taking care of me?'
After many thoughts, he got inside his room and cried himself to sleep not knowing that Yoongi got off of his work earlier in the afternoon.
Yoongi got home with a quiet/silent/cold atmosphere. He doesn't like the feeling of it.
He put down all the things he bought from the mall while thinking of Jimin.
"Jimin?" He called out but no answer. "Jimin?" Again he called out but a little louder this time.
Heart pounding thinking that maybe Jimin left the house at this time of night.
He hurriedly open one of the rooms in his apartment.
Room 1 (guest room) - no Jimin
Room 2 (Yoongi's room/their shared room) - still no Jimin
Room 3 (Jimin's room/rarely being used) - Jimin in bed, asleep.
Yoongi sighed in relief after knowing Jimin had just fallen asleep.
He silently walked towards the sleeping Jimin, once close enough, Jimin suddenly turn around, Yoongi panicked at the sudden move but he noticed the boy was still asleep with tear stains.
Yoongi wondered why was Jimin crying? Did he have a bad dream? Or a sad memory?
Thoughts flooded Yoongi's mind and he didn't noticed that he woke up the sleeping boy by suddenly sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Yoongi hyung?" said the younger while rubbing his eyes. Yoongi got startled a bit by the sudden call of his name, he still answered "I'm here, Jimin." while patting Jimin's head.
Jimin suddenly started crying again, Yoongi panicked not knowing what to do, he sat there frozen for a while then hugged the crying lad.
"Ssshhh....I'm here, I'm here....Yoongi hyung's here..." He said while hugging and patting Jimin's back.
"What happened? Bad dream?" Yoongi asked wanting to know what's bothering Jimin.
"I-I thought y-you left me l-like e-e-e-everyone e-else." he answered stuttering at the sudden thought of Yoongi leaving him.
"I told you and also promised not to do so....So please stop crying, I hate seeing you cry..." Yoongi said softly.
"B-but.....you didn't come home f-for dinner...you normally did come home for dinner, sometimes you came home a bit late but still enough for having dinner with me.....b-but today it took you so long to come h-home....I even prepared a big dinner for the both of us...." Jimin said while crying on Yoongi's chest.
"I did noticed that....what's it for?" He said pushing Jimin a bit so he could see his face while remembering the big feast downstairs being covered.
"First Anniversary....." Jimin whispered.
"What? I can't hear you?" Yoongi said. Although he definitely heard it he just wanted to make sure what he heard was correct.
"First Anniversary..." Jimin said a bit louder this time.
"For?" - Yoongi
"Our first year and the first year of your promise..." Jimin explained.
"Oh? how about we eat now? What do you say?" Yoongi asked Jimin while smiling.
"But the food's already cold it's been 3 hours since.." Jimin reasoned out.
"Then, we'll reheat it." Yoongi answered.
"But it's already 11pm..." Jimin reasoned out again.
"Then, it's a late dinner." Yoongi answered again.
"Bu-" Jimin was cut off by Yoongi "Let's eat dinner. Hm?" Yoongi smiled.
"I-I...." Jimin looked at Yoongi and he was still smiling, it creeped him a bit but still continued "Okay..." Jimin gave up and smiled to Yoongi who's pulling him out of the bed.
AT THE DINNER TABLE
"I'm full~ That was so delicious!" Yoongi exclaimed while rubbing his stomach.
Jimin smiled at Yoongi but suddenly that smile began to fade as he remembered that Yoongi was out of his office earlier than expected but he came home a bit late.
Yoongi noticed the sudden change in Jimin's expression "Is there something wrong?" he asked.
Jimin being in a daze got a bit startled "Huh? Uh...Oh? Just wondering about something..."
Yoongi just smiled and nod his head saying to continue what he has in mind.
"I was just wondering....since you got out of your office a bit earlier than expected then why did you came home a bit late?" Jimin asked.
"Oh? That....after getting out of office I made my way to the mall to buy some stuffs...." Yoongi said slightly avoiding Jimin's eye contact.
"And it took you 5 hours to buy them and go home?"
(Forgot to tell you that Yoongi got out of his office at 6pm and he got home at 11pm sharp.)
"Well....there's a reason as to why...." Yoongi said a bit flustered.
"What is it?" Jimin asked wanting to know as to why did Yoongi was so late to get home.
"Same reason as you..." Yoongi answered blushing and avoiding eye contact at all costs.
Jimin blushed a bit knowing that they were thinking about the same thing.
'But where are the stuffs that he bought?' Jimin thought but like telepathicly "in the living room." Yoongi answered.
Jimin stand up and go towards the living room his eyes widened at the sight of so many bags, as in so many like 8-10 big bags!
"T-this is too much!" Jimin exclaimed.
"No, it's not." Jimin shivered by the sudden voice behind his ear but calm down soon after.
Yoongi suddenly hugged Jimin from behind and startled the younger from the sudden movement.
"I have a surprise for you..." He whispered to Jimin's ears.
Yoongi lets go from hugging Jimin and turned Jimin around so he was now facing him. "But close your eyes first..."
Jimin obeyed and closed his eyes, he suddenly felt something was being put on his neck, a necklace? a choker? or maybe a collar? he thought.
"You can open your eyes now."
Jimin opened his eyes and looked in front of the mirror that was placed in front of him.
"So? What do you think?" Yoongi smiled at Jimin while gesturing at the necklace.
Jimin looked at the necklace, it has 'Forever' written on it, Jimin smiled at the sight "It's beautiful.." he answered.
Yoongi smiled at the response and suddenly knelt down calling Jimin.
Jimin looked at Yoongi not knowing what he was doing, he was knelt down in one knee.
"Is there something wrong?" Jimin asked a bit worried.
Yoongi suddenly gets a small box from his pocket and looked at Jimin.
Jimin still confused didn't move an inch on his position, when a memory struck him.
'Wait! I-is he proposing to me?!' that's when it hit him. This posture. This position. That box.
Jimin suddenly started smiling wide and tears are already filling his eyes waiting to go down his cheeks.
"Jimin..." the words he isn't expecting from someone he met a year ago would actually say it on their first year since that promise "Will you make this man the happiest man alive by marrying him?"
'It was a bit cheesy' Jimin thought but all the tears that he's been stopping now just to hear those words coming from his mouth "YES! I certainly will!" Jimin answered happily and hugged Yoongi tight.
Yoongi smiled and put the ring on Jimin's hand and kissed him lovingly.
That day became the bestest day for Jimin because Yoongi's promise became a reality, he'll never leave him and he'll always stay by his side.
