Chapter 14: Preparing A Ridiculous Display Of Power
A moment after the Village Head, Leo, left the room, Kameron sat on the bed and finally checked the system notifications. He only remembered a few lines but those lines caused excitement to burn within him.

"Interesting, but who noticed me and how were they watching me?" Kameron said as he decided to name his new spell first.
"If I remember correctly, I compressed the fire element into an orb and then shot it towards the demons... let's just call it... Fiery Devastation."
(Sounds decent enough) Ina commented as the previously blank name was filled by the one Kameron thought of.

Gather the surrounding flame element above the user for 30 seconds and compress it with mana before launching it towards your enemies.
The orb will explode dealing 1000% - 2,000% magic damage, depending on how much fire element was gathered.
The range of the explosion is 10 meters.
If the user's focus is interrupted during the gathering process, the spell casting will fail and the fire element also will disperse.
Cooldown will not be reset after a failed casting.
Multiple orbs cannot be created at a time.

Cooldown: 2 hours

"I actually created such a strong spell, albeit, with the help of the fire elemental. The charge time is also the same as the amount of time I had to create the spell. The problem is if I'm interrupted while casting it..." Kameron thought a bit and came up with a difficult idea.
"What if I split my focus so I can gather fire element and battle with my sword at the same time?"
Kameron was sure that this was just as difficult as it sounded. If he tried to use the spell in battle he would need to read, process, and anticipate his opponent's moves while focusing enough to gather the element and condense it. Though he could have probably assistance from the tiny fire wolf, it would not be around all the time.
"I'll think about some ways to go about doing that. Let's look at this new title." He said as he opened his title function within the system menu.
[Progeny of Fire]

"Jeez... I didn't think this title would raise my manipulation to the next tier. So now I can manipulate the Fire element at an intermediate level? I wonder what I'm able to create now since before I could only do simple shapes." Kameron said as he started to gather a bit of fire element into his hand.
As he started to manipulate it, he noticed that it was a bit easier to shape the fire into something. Sadly, he was still limited forming shapes with the fire element, he was unable to do anything complex for the time being, but now he was able to form rings with his manipulation so he called it a win for now.
"At the higher tiers I should be able to create better things but for now, I am fairly satisfied." He said as he switched his focus onto his most troublesome notification.
"I need to evolve soon... I put it off for a while but I can't do that much longer, as far as I know, a demon's primal instinct involves craving destruction and slaughter. I can't be controlled by those emotions or else I'll put everyone in danger."
Sighing to himself, Kameron stood up from the bed after dispersing the small ring of fire that hovered over his palm.
Leaving the small house he had spent the past few days recovering in, he saw the remnants of the skill he had created as he arrived at the center of the village. There, a crater around 10 meters wide replaced the demons that had been standing there a few days prior while standing without moving from the edge of the crater was the stone golem.
Without any new commands from Kameron and the threat eliminated, it stopped functioning after running out of mana while on standby.
"Where is that tiny wolf at? I haven't seen it or the other two elementals since I woke up..." Kameron said, sounding a bit disappointed as he stored the stone golem in his inventory. He then started walking past half-burned buildings and collapsed remains of completely burned homes, on his way to the main gate.
A few minutes later, he arrived at the main gate of the village. There, directly outside of the entrance of the village, stood the remaining 50 or so villagers. Their appearance was fairly bright as they thought about what the village head had told them when they were gathered together.
Unfortunately, they were unable to hide the sadness contained in their eyes as they kept thinking back to the blood-stained streets and screams of their friends and family as they were killed by the demons that had attacked.
Kameron, seeing this, quickly came up with a plan as he walked out of the village gate and stopped in front of the crowd of villagers. He decided to say a small speech as they all watched with high expectations for his next actions.
"I understand you all were scarred greatly by the recent events but please think about the people who are no longer here. Would they want you to still be sad over them after three whole days? I don't believe they would. I think they would want you to look towards the future so that their lives were not sacrificed in vain.
The people of this village seem like one giant family to me. If people that day were unable to save their own lives, I believe they would try and help the next person closest to them live on.
Please, trust me when I say that not all demons are cruel. There are a number of demons like you all who would try their best to give their family and friends a chance to live, under the same circumstances that you all experienced."
After waiting a few moments for the people to process what he said. He noticed the atmosphere slowly become more positive. As he smiled at the villagers he said a few more words to them.
"I understand you do not want to stay here and wait for another group of demons to attack but I want you all to assist me in beginning my dream, starting right here.
This place, your home, will be the foundation of a kingdom that is home to people who do not want a war, my kingdom will become a force that remains neutral to all conflict as much as possible.
I will not force you to stay and risk your lives though on such a difficult dream. Instead, I will convince you that I have the power to protect you and form a new power in this continent.
Please! Watch closely and decide after I am finished if you would like to stay here and believe in me, or leave and follow your heart." Kameron said as he turned around and took a dozen steps away from the crowd.
In front of him was a flat field beside the wall of the village, he had concluded that this was the best place to demonstrate his power.
Under the eyes of the hopeful villagers, he retrieved his unranked summoning scroll from his inventory. Just as he was about to start using it he thought of a crazy idea. As he held the summoning scroll in his right arm, he made sure to try asking Ina before attempting it.
(You are definitely able to use Gluttony and devour it, The item is unranked and nonliving. It falls within the rules of the Gluttony skill but I don't know what will happen. Think carefully about if you want to do that.) She said after reading his mind instantly.
Kameron, weighing the possibilities of his idea, took a few minutes before making a decision.
"I will try it! Even if I end up wasting the scroll I can gain another one if I'm lucky enough. Right now though, I can't waste this opportunity." He said confidently in his mind as he squeezed the summoning scroll within his hand.
"Gluttony!" He shouted as the lightning runes on his arm lit up with a deep red. The black summoning scroll within his hand began to shake violently as if wanting to break free of his grasp but Kameron, refusing to let this chance slip away, used both of his hands and all of his strength to keep it in his possession.
Moments later the shirt sleeve covering his right arm burst apart as red streaks of lightning snaked constantly down his arm and impacted the item in his hands.
This continued for an entire minute as the villagers watched confused as to what their young hero was doing in front of them. Finally, the summoning scroll began to slowly break down into fine particles before being absorbed into Kameron's right palm.
After 5 minutes, the scroll had disappeared and the gluttony runes on his arm stayed glowing a deep red as streaks lightly flickered around it.
Kameron, wondering if his idea was a failure or success, was attracted by a new golden system notification.

The summon will have a moderate loyalty to the owner but if their loyalty hits 0. They can break free from the summoning contract.
You cannot summon Gods.

You cannot summon multiple versions of a previous summon.
(He can only summon 1 version of the target, even if they die they cannot be resummoned)
The summoned being will not be of higher rank than the summoner.
If targets are deemed too powerful, most of their power will be sealed upon arrival to the world.
Summoned beings will be set to level 1. Stats will be set accordingly.
The cooldown will not be reset upon a failed summoning.

"Well, shit..." Kameron said as he rubbed his arm as the runes remained a deep red color, without signs of changing back to normal.
"Not only do I get my class changed but I even become someone who has made the impossible, possible..." Kameron said as he was beginning to get a headache while he thought about all of the problems that could arise from this happening, but he forced himself to focus on his original task.
He had to show his power to the villagers to begin his plan and he wanted to thoroughly convince them.
"I can worry about all of this later! Right now, I have to create a show for those people!" Kameron thought as he began to use his new class skill.
"Forbidden Summoning!" He said as he instantly felt half of his newly expanded mana pool disappear. As he saw huge amounts of mana begin surging towards his location.
[The World has noticed the abnormal situation]
After seeing this notification, Kameron was quickly assaulted by various questions by the confused, but still gentle and motherly, voice of the world's will.
"What are you doing little one? Why is all of the mana in the area gathering to you? If you are the one causing this, can you please stop it? You will upset the stronger animals in the area and you are not strong enough to face them yet." The world's will said worriedly.
"I will stop it after accomplishing my plan. Do not worry, I will be finished in a few short minutes." He replied quickly to questions the world's will had asked.
"Little one, you will only have about 5 minutes before the stronger animals get angry and come to this location. I will continue watching you but please fix this quickly!" The will of the world said before disappearing as quickly as she had appeared.

" Will everything I do be on a time limit??? Shit... What kind of person do here I need right now..." Kameron began working his mind to the limit as he weighed what would be best for his kingdom.
After 50 seconds of intense deliberation, he made his decision.

AstralGodZero This was supposed to be out yesterday but I was hanging out with my friend for his birthday.
Anyways, who do you think should be summoned?
I’m willing to delay my own personal choice as I feel that there are definitely better choices for a first summon. Remember that I will probably not know most suggestions, it will take some time to learn about characters from older shows I have never seen.
Also, what do you think of the new class inspired by one of the comments of a reader?
