Taiga absorbed his guardian's cryptic advice with a slight nod of his head. It was a similar assessment that Axel had forewarned him about in his dreams. That uniting the tribes would be an endeavor that takes years, not months; And that it would be a dangerous path to embark upon. 

He was ready for it.

For the sake of providing a peaceful future for his mate Tuzi, he was ready for anything.

Taiga just had to find some way to get his "other form" under control, if he ever had to shift into it… 

From what the boy had learned by observing others, when a werewolf comes of age and has their first shift, there is an adjustment period, to allow their human form to calibrate with their primal wolf. 

Taiga surmised that was why he had such a difficult time controlling the beast, when he had morphed into the lycan; He was likely still too young. His "other half" was much stronger than he was.
