Chapter 2: Job Search
It was now midnight already and the only places they hired a 14-year-old were very far from where Jian lived. Still, she did not give up and kept searching.
Around 1 she saw a modeling application online. Since she needed a job Jian thought why not and signed up for the job. After another hour she stopped searching online and said that she would go out to look for a job during the day.
The next morning was just like the day before. Jian got up and got dressed in a white see-through shirt with small ruffles over a white tank top and black dressy pants that weren't quite dressy.
After getting dressed Jian grabbed her notebook and walked outside. This time her mother wasn't in the living room she was in her room. So Jian grabbed herself a snack from the kitchen putting it inside her purse along with her phone, some money, her business card, and other important materials.
Then she grabbed herself a pair of black stilettos putting them on and left the apartment while grabbing her keys and coat. Once she was outside she locked her door put on her coat and left the building.
Jian walked to many job places but was rejected because she was too young. It was already noon yet she had not a single job offer. Jian was at a bakery going through her phone while she waited for her cookies and tea when she got a call.
Jian picked up the call from an unknown number and asked, "Hello who is this?" The person on the other side sounded like a female asking, "Hi, is this Miss Kim Ji An?" Jian was surprised that the person knew her name, but answered yes in a calm voice.
The other person on the phone continued after confirming that the Jian was Ji An, "Hi Miss Kim Ji An, this is Alyssa Brookes, from Michelle's Models, informing you that you have been selected as a candidate for modeling. I was wondering when are you free to have a meeting?"
Jian listened carefully and answered, "I am free this whole week. If you don't mind then could we meet today?" Alyssa answered, "That would be perfect I can text you the address to the agency after I figure out a good time."
Jian thanked the other person and took out her notebook. She wrote down everything that just happened. How she may be getting a job after so many failures.
Jian waited for about an hour for the reply from Alyssa. When she got the reply Jian hurried to get to the address provided. The meeting was going to be in one hour and the place where she had to go was 10 blocks away meaning it was at least a mile away. However, since Jian knew where she was going she took the shortcuts to the agency.

RavenQueen922 Ok so from now on its a steady path. Hopefully no more drama, but then again I like drama so yay. Also, my posting schedule may not be steady. I am very sorry. But I feel like by the time this is posted I will have a lot of chapters to post so I may change the posting times.
