Chapter 37: ch 37 My twins and new title
Witcherly residence, Training room
'Siri, How's the status for the cocoon?' I monitor the status from time to time.
Siri: Stable... the fairy will be breaking out of the cocoon in 20 sec.. 19 sec.. 18 sec..
I look at the tadpole that is now a froglet a size of a chicken egg, 'Siri, status for the tadpole.'
Siri: another 10sec and the tail will vanish and it will be considered as a young frog ...
'Ok' I immediately said to Grace and the other three, "Guys, cut your magic now. It's done."
They cut thier magic and I'm the only one left supplying the cocoon and the now almost frog. Another 5 more second, I retracted my magic as well.
The now frog, formerly tadpole, opened its eyes and jump around. It still look what a Dragon toad should but the scales are golden red. It also has a two 3 inch thin whiskers on its face. It has a look of a red golden head of a catfish.
I checked on the cocoon. There's already movement and I can see a slit opened. A few seconds after, a small 3 inch naked fairy came out with red butterfly wings. With the proportion of her body and limbs, it looks like a ten year old girl.
She has medium lenght light golden hair and pale white skin. Her eyes have a deep blue color. When I look at her overall appearance, she look like the killer robot M3GAN with red butterfly wings.
Seeing her naked, I asked Grace, "Grace, a dress please.". Immediately, she bends light and made a light yellow one piece dress. I cursed myself, 'Damn, she really look like M3GAN now.'
The little fairy look at her dressed and flutter her wings. Surprisingly there's no buzzing sound. She hover a little in the air, testing her wings.
The Dragon toad seeing the fairy floating, also began to float. I thought, 'Oh, it got Long's gravity ability.'
Me, Naji and my 4 contracted beast were ogling over the two. I extended my hands at the fairy and the toad.
They flew/levitate on each of my palms. I said, "Hello, little ones."
The fairy opened her mouth but sounds of bells came out,🔔"Ting!"🔔.
The small golden red toad croaked, "Crrooakk!"
'Cute, now how about names.... hmmmm.. fairies... toad.. hmm', I thought for a while.
I said to the little fairy, "You will be named, TANIA... derived from Titania, the queen of the fairies from Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.".
The fairy, gave a jolly bell sound, 🔔"Ting*ting*ting!!"🔔.
I the looked at the small toad, "You're name will be BUNTA... the name of the chief toad of Mount Myuboku and one of the most formidable toads in Naruto."
*clap*clap*clap* "CrooOAK!" The little toad let a croak while clapping its front legs.
"Everyone! Meet our newest members, Tania Menagerie and Bunta Menagerie!" I present the two to the group.
"Neighhh!" "Bbbaaaa!" "Kuk..uak!!" "Gruuu!!" "Hoo!!" They all greeted them.
Hearing all the animal sounds, I though, 'We're getting a bit crowded now. Maybe I'll stop taking in new bonds for a while and focus on preparing for Hogwarts next.'
While I'm lost in my thoughts and my pets are playing around, the training room door opened and Nana came in.
My pets quiet down and gave thier greetings to Nana. I also stood up and greeted her with a kiss of the cheek. I called out Tania and Bunta to my hands and presented them to her.
I said, "Nana, meet Tania and Bunta Menagerie."
Nana took them in her hands and inspected them. She said, " They're lovely, Dear. But I think we need to complete Tania's look as she doesn't even have undergarments."
I blushed. I apologize, "Sorry, I'm a guy and she is the first humanoid bond I had. My Bad."
"Heh, you blush now but wait when you have girls in your life." She jokingly commented.
'Oh com'on! I'll think about that when I'm in college.' I exclaimed internally.
"Now Dear, jokes aside. Can I asked a question?" Nana suddenly changed her tone. I just nodded.
She asked, "What did HE asked from you?"
When I heard that, I was dumbstruck, 'What, she knew? It was only a five minute time reversal!'
Not hearing a reply, Nana reassured me, "Don't worry, Dear. I'm not mad. I already expecting this when he first made contact with you. I may not 'see' you clearly anymore but that doesn't mean I can't detect his lingering magic on you."
When I heard her explanation, I gave up and said, "He wants me to explore or more like embrace all the possible power that Reza has. Specifically regarding soul magic and possible ressurecting abilities."
When she heard that, she asked,"Why?"
I aswered, "He didn't asked me to participate directly during the conflict for the twins. Instead, HE asked me to save your allies that will die along the way including, grandpa Mars and uncle Prometheus."
"What! Marshall, I understand your heart's in the right place but meddling with death is very dangerous. Those friends of mine and even Mars are ready to sacrifice thier lives..." she reprimanded me.
I sat down again on the couch in a lazy way. I recalled what me and Josh talked about and told Nana, "What HE proposed is that I swoop in and provide timely 'assistance' after or when they are technically about to die. Like a doctor reviving a patient with CPR and a Defibrillation."
After hearing it, Nana also sat on the couch opposite me and ponder.
I also added, "HE will be bringing me along on the exact moment of thier deaths. HE also added, that since even you can't 'see' me, your enemies won't also find out what I'm doing. I can just hide my 'patients' in my Beast Space until it's all over."
She's still worried and asked, "Why do this Dear? You can be free from Harry Potter's story after 1997. Why take the risk to involve yourself?"
I immediately answered, "Because I can and I want to, Nana. You're my only family in this world. Even if you said that you have accepted what's to come and the aftermaths, you would still be hurting, wouldn't you?"
She smile and nodded accepting my decision to be part of Marethyu's scheme. She asked, "You do know what they call a magician that dabble with souls, right?
I just smile and answered, "Yeah, A Necromancer."
