Chapter 62: I Believe You Now
As Dexter and Mj's spirit arrived at the hospital, they saw Ja at the nurse's station.
"Excuse me, Ja, right?" Dexter, eventhough he knew the room number of Mj's, because Mj have told him to approach Ja, since she's her bestfriend, turned and approach her formally.
"Yes, I am Ja. What can I do for you sir?"
"I'm Doctor Dexter by the way. And you are Ja, the bestfriend of Mj, right?"
"Yes I am doc."
"I have looked over Mj's case and her lab results. I can actually help her, though, I needed both you and Karl's cooperation for Mj to be successfully be awaken."
"How? She has been unconscious for almost 10months already." stunned but queeried Ja.
"I'll tell you inside, with Karl's presence at Mj's room. I'ts somewhat like a complicated process that we have to do then."
"Okay, let's go to her room then," Ja, lead them to Mj's room.
When they are already inside her room. Ja, introduced Dexter to Karl and vice versa.
"Doctor Dexter here can help Mj to be awaken." Ja introduced.
"I can help, yes. But there are some complicated things we needed to do to help her be awaken." Dr. Dexter explained.
"What has to be done doc?" Karl inquired.
"I'm gonna need both of your help for us to succeed. And I'm gonna explain it to you to the best possible way."
"Okay, go on, we're listening." Karl and Ja said the same words at the same time.
"Actually, Mj's spirit is here beside me. I'm a doctor scientist and at the same time a psychic that can see and talk to spirits. I saw Mj's spirit in front of my shop/lab, roaming around, looking for help. Her spirit has been detached from her body, though she's still alive. She have been trying to be back to her body multiple times, but to no avail."
"Huh? Are you sure you can help her go back to her body sucessfully? And what assurance do we have, that you are saying the truth that Mj's spirit talks to you?" Karl retorted.
"Well, she told me of a secret that only you, Ja, and Karl knows."
"What secret?" they both said in astonishment and at the same time.
"That her first husband Kevin never got intimate with her for Kevin knows that she loves Karl much, and that she remained as a virgin up until your 'deal night', Karl." winked Dexter to Karl.
"Oh okay, Yup, that's very true. That's the secret that only me and Ja have known. I believe you now, Doc!" Karl stunned, but then agreed.
"Yes indeed! Me too, I believe you now." seconded Ja.
"Okay, we will proceed then. I have a machine at my lab that would be used to vacuum Mj's spirit back to her own body. But first, we have to bring out her body from this hospital and transport her to my lab that's just near here."
"How can we do that? We need a clearance from her doctor then." Karl inquired.
"That's what you both needed to do. You Karl, will request from the doctor for Mj to be taken cared of at 'home' privately with her life support apparatus, and with a 'private nurse' specifically, Ja."
"Oh okay, I can do that!"
"I can do that too."
"Okay, that would be good then." smiled Dexter.
"But, first I would like to talk to my wife's spirit. With your help mediating between us, Doc, would you do the honor?", Karl asking in a mixed emotions.
"But of course. She's here, she can hear you. By all means, you can talk to her," assured Dexter, while pointing Mj's spirit beside him.
"If you'll excuse me, I'll prepare what's needed to be prepared then." Ja, then proceeded to the door.
"Okay, thanks Ja." Karl sighed in relief.
Karl then looked at Dexter's eyes. With teary eyed, he began, "how to do this doc?"
"You can talk to her right here, she can hear you. But I suggest that you touch her body too, while talking. 'Coz your touch could still be felt by her spirit, for they are still connected."
"Okay, thanks doc." With teary-eyes, Karl then proceeded to touch Mj's hand and kissed her forehead. And then he gently pressed her hand as he is about to utter words to say to his wife. He began to open his mouth, carefully thinking and choosing the right choice of words, he has been longing to say to his beloved wife...
And Mj's spirit, once again, felt it all his loving touch and caressed. It felt like a small electric tingling feeling of shivering down to her spine, as she closely watched, waited and anticipated on what Karl will gonna want to say to her then...
