Chapter 1: Departure

one midsummer morning when sangay was getting ready for his work, he had a very hard stomach ache, he immediately went to the washroom and he vomited a blood. He was shocked, but he never tried to tell to his family "sangay" called sonam "what are you doing in the washroom for so long. Hope u r not dozing off in there!!!" sangay without even saying single words, opened the door and left for the work… Kinley frowned and let it go… sangay thought of going to hospital for check up or the way for his office. Respond to my called… Kinley with a sleepy eyes stared at sangay for it was first time ever saw that sangay got drunk and shouted at her. Sangay refused to explain her saying he drank for fun, a week passed, a month passed and a year passed, sangay has a habituate to drink always, comes home late, sangay always shouted at home.kinley was getting more and more agresive looking at his behaviors. She bared him for 2 month. After that, in the mid of the march finally kinley decided to get rid of him by giving him a divorced from. Sangay didn't react insteadsigned on it after mentioning that the son jigme zangpo with sonam and daughter kinzang wangmo be with sangay. A great disaster occurred to a peaceful family, and neighbors now standed to talk many things about then. kinley moved out of the house. Caring with kinzang wangm,o and settled in the paro. Many year passed by jigme zangpo went for his futher studies for engineering coursed. Kinzang did well and as did kinley. No one ever thought of sangay, who have now become makes then before. Sangay has now resigned from the job and was now waiting for his jigme to come back and look after him. One day at sunny day, while walking down the street, sangay fainted and he was to the trashigang's hospital immediately after. The next day jigme came back to Bhutan, immediately after hearing about his father he rush to paro to trashigang. When he reached there, he burst out into fears hugged his father and then directly went to doctor. There he found out that his father has been suffering from blood cancer, since 2020 the year where his father changed his behaviors. Jigme weeping went back to his father and ask all out there he came to know that his father tried to avoid his diseases because he went them to suffer because of him, he didn't want much time. So ended up living alone. A continouse tear droped from jigme's eyes. Sonam instructed his son. Jigme to go back home and give the letter that he have written for his wife kinley and daughter kinzang. Right after telling this jigme didn't knew wat to do for some hours, he did same as instructed by the father he knock the door two times and the door opened and he found his sister kinzang getting surprise and welcoming him.she grew beautifully "ama, ama!!! Come here and lookwho comes here!!!" mother came emoting a mantra and she was shocked to see jigme… mother cried and asked where is father was. Jigme with a sad face just linedover the letter, which was written by father. kinley took the letter and started to read, the letter reads….
