Chapter 20: contract with the devil
"well how long do y'all think Jason will be in there" asked Mira who was already worried sick about Jason, she really wanted to see him at all cost, even if it meant going into the portal to find him.
" He will soon be here" Benganon replies.
" But he has been in there for three days straight, are you sure he is going to come back" Mira kept on asking.
" Like I said before, he will soon be here" Benganon replied again.
The team has been waiting for Jason in the witches coven for three days straight, they had little water left in their bags. They were already starving,they started planning on leaving the cave to get food, but Mira said she won't leave the cave until Jason was back.
Before they could continue arguing, the portal opened up, and Jason stepped out of the portal, he was looking all tattered and dirty, due to the difficulties he met in the underworld, his hair was dam due to the sweat which was dripping out of his face continuously.
As soon as he makes his first step out of the portal, he falls to the ground and fainted, holding the spell book firmly in his armpits. Immediately, Mira runs down to were he fell, and started shaking him to wake up.
" It's ok, he is alright, he just fainted" Benganon said while holding Mira's shoulders
" Well don't you think we should do something about that." Asked Mira in a tone of fury." We can't just leave him like that" she continued. She was really worried about him, she didn't want anything to happen to him.
" he will be alright Mira , let's just take him home, at least he has uncovered the secret of his ancestors book" Benganon replied.
"Ok then, let's get moving, but first, we have to hunt tonight, cause I am starving" said Jace
" So you wanna walk home, our horses should be dead by now, we haven't fed those guys for days" Benganon added.
" Well is there any other way to go home" Min asked.
''well, we could teleport back home" Benganon adds.
" Well why didn't you say so earlier" Jace asked rhetorically,
" Well I you wanna walk home for eight days, you could do it with Jason on your back" Benganon says sarcastically.
" Well noooo" Jace answered
" Let's just get going, alright" Mira adds.
Benganon then holds them and teleports back home with them.

Barry is seen in the underworld, he has been there for over a month and it was really tearing him apart. The demons, the fire, the laughs and so much more, made him more angrier every moment.
He is seen drawing on the walls, alot of things were drawn by him, things that he saw within him, things that he wanted to do when he leaves the underworld, he had drawn and written Richard's name on the walls, after which he would draw an X in the middle of it, which signified, eliminated.
" Soon I'll be out of here, and I swear on my life, I will never stop until I have your head Richard" he said.
Barry had really changed alot, he now has his beards grown to the longest level, almost looking like that of Benganon, but not gray, his hair his tattered and so was his look, he simply changed from the handsome young man he ones was to a hideous looking beast. His clothes were torn, they were looking like over used rags, he was lacking alot of blood, and he was really starving for human blood. Could this be the end of Barry.
Soon, he hears a voice coming from above him, it was the voice of an anon, anyone could take a wild guess and know that it was the voice of a demon, or even Lucifer himself, since someone as evil as Barry was in the underworld, then it won't be hard for Lucifer to find him.
" Why do seat here all day, thinking of something you can never achieve while foolishly seating" the voice said.
" Well I have no choice but to think my way out of this mess my lord." Barry said after kneeling and bowing his head to Lucifer.
" Well then I should better leave you to continue your foolish trail" the voice continued
" No my lord, please forgive my stupidity, I am indeed indented to your assistance, I besiege you my lord" Barry added.
" Of what assistance may I render you" the voice adds.
" My lord , you hold all the keys to the underworld, I will ask that you please, release me, for my thirst for vengance is eating me up, I won't rest until I kill Richard, and I believe that you support me" Barry said.
" Yes offcourse, you know I will always support evil, but nothing comes for free" the voice continued.
" As it stands, I can do anything for my freedom" Barry said.
" Well then, I will take away your destiny, your powers and everything you have, just for you to go back to the world of the living, but I will return them back to you, with even more when the Abaddon is reborn" the voice said.
Barry is still kneeling down, bowing to the devil, he is about to sell his soul to him, but first he thinks about it, his thoughts were being read by the devil, who was patiently waiting for his answers.
" Well then, what are we waiting for." Barry said with a cold smirk on his face.

Jason is now seen in Tasuki with the team, they had just returned to the Midlands, and Jason had also just recovered from his slumber.
" I sense something new in you kid, apart from the spirit of Almagadin." Benganon says, while looking deeper into Jason's eyes, he goes closer to him and touches him on his forehead with two of his mid fingers. Jason eyes are now closed. This process was done to see what was actually present in Jason's spirit.
" You are filled up with the powers of the twelve witches, who gave you this powers" Benganon said.
" I do not know what you speak of, the only thing I did in the underworld was talk to my father and also get my book, that's all, I didn't see any twelve witches or whatever you call it" Jason said while confused to what Benganon had just reviled to him.
Benganon stares at him again, but this time his stare wasn't as sharp as the last.
" Well prepare, we leave for Amazon tomorrow morning." Benganon said, while approaching the bed.
