Jist as the girl said that, the woman glared at her and shouted, "Shut up!! F*cking female beta!! Just the way you dress shows your a slut!!" *Ptiuhh!* The middle aged woman spit the female beta's shoes.
But somehow....
The female beta didn't care... She was.... In a trance.... What?
"I-Is that Clyden Xairen.... Oh. My. Go- Am I dreaming!?!?" One female alpha stopped her motorcycle as she stared at the beautiful face in the center of the crowd.
Hearing this the awkwardly silent crowd finally broke out of their trance as they stared in disbelief at Clyden who had just alighted from the car.
"Who... Clyden... What..." Harris' voice trailed off as he looked at the teenage figure coming closer and closer to him, even if he was in a coma of course he'd know who Clyden Xairen is.
Not only is he a famous star... But also... His brother... Step brother in a matter of fact
His mother mentioned once before, "FUCK THAT MAN AND THAT ADOPTED SON OF HIS!! WHO WOULD'VE FUCKING KNOWN CLYDEN IS HIS CHILD!!" she just came back from the Xairen mansion that time to ask for money and coincidentally got to know this fact.
Harris got into reflection for a minute as he could never have imagined that he could reach or get closer to this godlike brother of his.
"What are you thinking about? Hurry we still need to run away from here am I right?" Clyden said to Harris with a light chuckle.
Harris looked up and stared at the pretty omega in front of him as his body started to heat up...
"Hm..." Harris replied subconsciously.
Clyden frowned at the sight of this, "Death still isn't letting you go huh... Butler Xu, he's having a fever. Let's go."
Butler Xu who was still holding Harris helped him up then asked, "Second Young master... To the Hospital or..." He didn't dare finish his words.
"Hospital, we'll take him home once he's fine." Clyden stated a matter of factly.
The three turned to go back in the car, now Clyden is the one holding Harris and Butler Xu following the two behind.
Just at they were about to open the car door, the woman from before finally regained her subconsciousness, "Y-You... Butler Xu!! Please wait!!" She shouted anxiously, but her words were heard by a deaf ear and Butler Xu didn't answer.
But the woman didn't care, she continued, "I-If you're going to take him away you'll have to pay me!! I was the one who raised him!! When you never cared!!"
Clyden frowned and scoffed at her words, "Are you sure? When you left the house, Master Xairen gave you more than enough money to atleast live well for the rest of your lives, yet you just flushed every single penny unto gambling and luxuries. And don't even get me started on how you took care of him when you clearly didn't. It was the neighbors that Master Xairen paid to take care of him..."
The woman stayed silent in embarrassment as the people around stared at her in disgust.
The ill Harris beside Clyden had his eyes wide open as his eyes welled up in tears once again. He remembered when he was a child that a guy in a suit would come and visit his nextdoor neighbor, Aunt Lu, once a month and every time after his visit, Aunt Lu would give him some money with the phrase, "Keep this for yourself. Don't tell your mom alright? It's our little secret."
Instead of feeling of happy that his father cared. Harris felt dejected knowing that Aunt Lu was only kind to him because of his father. His complexion darkened at the thought of this, and Clyden noticed.
Clyden shook his head and motioned Harris to get inside the car.
Once inside, Harris' head hanged low. Clyden wasn't sure if it's because of his fever, awkwardness, or dejection and was confused and so he asked, "What's wrong?"
Instead of answering, Harris just shook his head lower.
"You can say or ask anything you want... As long as the Xairen family is capable of doing it." Clyden stated trying to comfort the dejected man.
And it worked. Hearing this Harris raised his head and Clyden was finally able to see his tear stained face clearly and some tears about to fall from his eyes.
"Did Aunt Lu actually just took care of me because Master Xairen..." Harris didn't and couldn't dare to continue.
Stunned, Clyden laughed gently covering his mouth with his hand, "Oh, Dad was about to pay her... But she rejected the money and said to let dad just take you away as you would be better off... But since father also had problems, he couldn't bring you back and so she volunteered to take care of you with no pay. But father didn't want to use her money as he is still your parent and so they came with a deal to send money every month and then she would pass it on to you."
Clyden paused then looked at Harris thoughtfully, "You better?"
Harris sniffed then laughed awkwardly, "Is that so... Haha... I'm older than you yet you're the one comforting me. It's embarrassing..."
