Chapter 3: 3
Not long after meeting the rest of his family, Shiro began to douse off in his mother's arm, which was weird as he wasn't feeling tired.
'Why am I tired all off...sudden?' He thought having trouble keeping his eyes open.
Unable to resist for long, he yawn cutely at his family, which made the female half think he is cute. After making him wave good-bye to his family, she put him in his crib to rest.
Unaware that it was not his choice to sleep right now.
Once he is completely 'asleep', knowledge came pouring in his mind as his body temperature increase slightly as something was unlock from within.
Nourishing each part of his body once, twice, etc for the entire night. Unaware that his fussing caused his parents to check in on him from time to time.
Making his body a bit tougher to hurt than normal, but that's it. He can still be killed, but it requires more effort to do so.
'Huh, so a mix of good news and bad news.' He thought, getting an understanding on how this affects him and everything he loves in the future..
1) He can use magic now like actual magic, but he doesn't have the knowledge or enough magic to anything right now. Seeing how he just recently open it and can't control it yet.
2) He has the ability to use [Card Magic], but is dependent on his imagination and enough magic to actually create it.
Which is currently locked right now as he needs 5 units of mana to summon a card. In his opinion is total bullshit and to have to grudgingly admit it as wise.
Seeing as he has no place to hide it, its' currently safe to leave it alone, for now.
[Card Magic] lets him create two different types of card. Either a one-time spell card that can be used again after the old magic is used up to create a new spell card.
Or create a permanent spell card that can be used multiple times. However, if he creates a permanent spell card, he cannot erase the magic that is already in the card.
He can add more magic to expand it or increase its' power. Like a permanent [Lightning Ball] card, he could make it stronger or make it shoot out 2 [Lightning Balls] or more.
The one-time spell card can be reused once it became blank again, but has a 30 minute cool down period before it can be used again.
Another neat feature about card magic is that he can integrate it into anything he like. Like a bracelet that shields the wearer, an area protection on his home that drives away unsavory people.
Or even awaken their protentional to wield magic, maybe. He doesn't know if its' possible as he needs to test it first.
But there are downsides if he want to use cards like that. He will lose that card once they are placed in objects. On the bright side, he'll get two choices on what type he wants.
[Passive] can be used a limited number of times before the magic is used up and cannot be used again until it's full of magic once more.
While [Active] cards can be used on command even if that person doesn't have any magic whatso ever. It can be used for a limited amount of times before it destroys itself.
3) There is a window floating up at him with one word only and nothing else.

He stared at the screen in a daze for what felt like hours, but was only a few minutes.
Once he came out from his dazed state, he immediately shouted what everyone says after they see this screen.
'STATUS!!'

After waiting for a few seconds with no new screen showing up, he grew depressed.
'Fuck! Am I a even a "gamer" if I don't have a fucking status page.' Shiro huff in annoyance ready to move on when it suddenly showed up.
'Finally.'

Without wasting anymore time, he began looking through it. When he did, he let a sad sigh at the end.
'I see, so that's it, huh?'
Despite having a status page, it's very basic. Which he was ok with it as it was something, but it was still sad to see he won't be able to gain levels or stat points.
The most surprising thing he saw was his the amount of mana he has now. He gains 0.01 mana every 10 minutes which he felt was good enough for now, but not in the future.
From what he gathered, his magic will cap at 200 MP and once it does, he will have to wait until he is 3 to pass the first maturity then at 11 and then 17.
Or he could go down another path. Like the magus novels he has read in his past life, but its' a dangerous path to tread.
'Let's just focus on the here and now, and not the future. Now, breath in, breath out, breath in....'
Calming himself, Shiro close his eyes and meditated on feeling his magic. It didn't take him long to find it though as he had a good grasp of finding it.
Having it cycled through out his body for an hour, he would have been a complete idiot not to notice it.
Next he move on to the important question about all of this.
'HOW DID I GET 300 POINTS!?! AND HOW DO I GET MORE!?!' He wanted to know as there are not a lot of stuff he could buy with merely 300 points.

He waited for some time, before calling out to the system once more, if there is one that is.
'System, answer me. How did I receive those points?'

10 minutes had pass by, but he didn't receive any response at all.
Feeling frustrated with it, Shiro decide to search his memories once more on how to use the [Shop] function.
Believing it will be vastly different from what he read from other novels. After closing his eyes for the past 5 minutes, he fell asleep, missing the nightly notification.

What he didn't know was when he wailed out in pain, he actually cockblock his parents from having sex in months as they were usually tired from taking care of him.
His father was especially pissed off when Yuki went straight to bed after checking on him. Which he has to take care of the problem himself, which was not very great. That was how he got those points from his father.
