Just half an hour has passed and I'm almost done. It may have seemed easy but I'm telling you that it was hard as it is. For example, there was this cold beauty that I approached who kept staring at me. I thought she wanted to pet me and even imagined it would be like being caressed by a goddess but I was wrong! When she had her vicious hands on me she started fondling me like a tentacle monster! It was a horrifying experience. To make matter worse the progress count didn't add up! Fondling was different from gentle scratching!
Aside from my fondling experiences I've also been able to feel the "another worldly" experience more. I've seen weird monsters pulling carriages. Chained slaves walking in lines. I've also been able too to see how people here treated nobles or someone with higher status. They would bow as they passed not daring to lift their heads or even look at them. It might just be this particular noble but nevertheless, I didn't give a damn about it. After all, now that I'm a cat, the things that must be expected for the people here don't apply to me.
Aside from a bit of learning the common sense here, I've also learned a few perks of being a cat. One is that I wouldn't worry where I peed or poop, just got to find a secluded place and relieve myself. The good old days when I had to line up while trying my best to not shat in my pants are gone! I also have this spider-like sense or should I say cat sense that makes me more sensitive to my surrounding. Thirdly the most amazing thing for being a cat is being able to jump on high walls! Truly cats are amazing!

Oh, finally! This girl sure has taken her time.
Time to leave now.
Now that I think about it…Am I actually dumping girls? Is this considered as dumping? Hehe, Never expected I would be able to dump a girl in my life.
Pretty girl found-!? Hey, what is this?!
Out of nowhere arms wrapped around me and carried me away. Damn, what is this? No matter how I struggled his hands seems to be like iron chains chaining me to him.
"Smooth and shiny fur. Nice teeth and healthy blue eyes. Add the fact that it's friendly to humans. I bet it would be popular with young misses from noble houses." The man mumbled to himself as he thought how much this cat could go for.
Oh, No! Am I about to be sold off?
This guy is probably a slave trader or something of the sort. Who sells monsters and even humans to make money. Although it could also be a good thing for me. Being a pet for noblewomen might not be a bad thing. I would be fed three times a day, given a proper home, and I will be on their lap most of the time. But what if some noble with weird fetishes bought me then decided to eat cat meat in the middle of the night? Running away might not be as easy as I think? Who knows if people here have slave magics like those in novels that would make me abide by their every word taking away my freedom. If so it would be better for me to die now.
I have to escape!
After a while, we have arrived in front of a warehouse. It wasn't abandoned and didn't look shady at all. Once inside I was able to see people inside looking inside cages with various animals inside. Is this a proper legal pet store? How could there be a hero to save me if this place is legal!?
The man proceeds to a large medium-sized cage which already had its own "tenants". The tenants were three kittens, each with different colours and species. One was black like me but had green eyes, another was a thin Garfield, and lastly a white Persian cat. There were two huge bowl one filled with food and another filled with milk.
People gathered to see what the newly arrived "product" was and asked questions to the middle-aged man who carried me here.
"Is there something special about this cat?"
"Aside from being friendly to humans, In afraid that it's no different from ordinary pets"
"Oh…"
After hearing that the crowd dispersed and went back to their own business. Even so, there were people who expressed the intention of buying me and most of them were women.
"How much for the cat, Fredrick?"
It was a woman who appeared in her late 30s dressed in noble clothing asked the middle-aged man. Upon knowing that it was her the other people who were interested gave it up and didn't risk offending her.
"Just one gold coin!"
So it seems that the one who carried me was called Fredrick.
I think one coin isn't enough for this cat who has the legendary system!
"One gold coin? Isn't that a bit much?"
"Our price is fair as always Lady Melissa"
"Then-"
"Wait! I'll buy the cat for 5 gold coins!"
Just as "Fredrick" and the woman, "Melissa" were discussing with each other, a female knight interrupted them.
This girl seems familiar…
The girl appeared to be a noble as well using from how embarrassed she was from her unsightly manners but was immediately able to calm herself once more. She walked closer to the two of them and offered again.
"5 gold coins for the cat!"
Fredrick was delighted for an ordinary cat to cost this much. He even thought that he could at most sell it for a few hundred silver coins if not a thousand. Being sold for a gold coin was already the limit but he didn't know that there would be someone generous enough to pay more than that
"Eh? Lady Melissa it seems that this young lady's offer is good?"
"It's just an ordinary cat. Let it go to the child" the noble, Melissa, replied nonchalantly as she first petted the cat goodbye before walking away. Even she didn't think that an ordinary cat could worth as much as that.
Fredrick was a bit disappointed but five gold coins were already the limit for the cat. He then looked at the female knight and said politely.
"Young lady, take these three other kittens as gifts from this humble servant!"
The girl was delighted and thanked him which he then returned with a smile.
"…"
The two looked at each other for several seconds before Frederick finally said in embarrassment.
"It's five gold coins miss."
"Ah? Yes! Five gold coins…." The girl then searched for her purse but was unable to. Having no money she could only ask in shame.
"Can I reserve it for now?"
Hearing that Fredrick wanted to laugh and ask "are you stupid?" But decided to be professional and nodded with a smile as he didn't want to miss such a customer. Innocent type of customer was his most favourite after all. "For you Milady I'd do anything!" He joked.
"Really?!"
"But we will have to sign the contract now."
"Sure!"
