FIXING A BROEN HEART

LISA: jennie i like you..

-lisa and jennie has been friends for 5 years since junior high, together with their childhood friends.. and they decided to live in one dorm,, lisa was known of her friends as a bisexual,, she's attracted in both gender,, but more specific to jennie.. but unfortunately jennie only see her as a friend since she's in love with someone else..

--they are in their senior high,, 2 years before they graduate,,

and lisa collected enough courage to confess to jennie..

--:: jennie was stunned for a second but give lisa a direct answer without thinking,,, all she have in mind is her dinner with kai that she's been waiting for..,

JENNIE: I'm sorry lisa.. but I don't feel the same.. also I like someone else..

-:: jennie is about to turn around when lisa held her hand,,

LISA: can you at least think about it? uh- I mean you don't feel anything for me at all??

-: jennie remove lisa's hand..

JENNIE: I don't.. I'm so sorry..

LISA: can you at least let me court you??

JENNIE: I don't want to give you any false hope lisa, your my friend and please lets just stay like that okay? sorry I have to go.

-::jennie left lisa standing.. and after jennie was out of sight she drop her self to the ground crying... not thinking clearly she suddenlly stand's up and follow jennie..

JENNIE: this is it!! whoooo!! I will confess to him--

-: lisa's image suddenly shows up on her head-- she shake's her head and whispers.

JENNIE: why am I thinking about her??.. Aiishh.. come on jennie,, this is your chance you can finally tell to the person you love what you feel.. don't get distracted!!..

--: she was patiently waiting,, then a wide smile written to her face seeing kai getting in the restaurant,,.

KAI hey~~ I'm so-sorry I'm late... got an important thing to do,,

JENNIE: It's okay~~ uhmm let have a sit..

KAI: sure.. (sits down) sooo,, what's this that you wanted to tell me ?? It seems so important.. hmmm?

JENNIE: uhh.. ye-yeah... well,, you see,, I've been struggling since the day I felt this,, and uhmm.. I always look up to you.. I mean everything that you do and I can't thank you enough for being there for me every time I need you,, you make me happy.. and uhmm.. kai~~ I really lik- (cut off)

-: kai's phone rung~~

KAI: oh~ sorry .. its crystal...

JENNIE: your work mate??

KAI: yeah...she's the one I told you that has been assisting me and very kind to me at the office remember..?

JENNIE: uh-huh.. well can you tell her to call later? I mean this is really important..

KAI: ye-yeah.. can you maybe give me a minute??

JENNIE: (breath out) ok~~.\

-:: kai answer's the phone before he stand up-

KAI: hey babe~~?? (walking out the restaurant)

--: jennie hitch a breath hearing kai's endearment to the girl on the other line- ;;; did he-he called her ''babe''- ? she coudn't stop herself.. she follow kai and as she saw him standing outside talking to the phone,,, making few steps to be near him,,

KAI: (talking on the phone) .. yes babe.. I'm with my friend jennie,,.. I'll be there she just need to tell me something,, I think its important .. you know I can't leave her here.. yeah I will,, bye I love you...

-: kai almost stumbled seeing jennie infront of him,,

KAI: jesus!! hey,, you startle me..

JENNIE: are you already in relationship with her?

KAI: uhm yeah. ,,,sorry If I haven't told you sooner.. I will make you meet her some other time okay, so don't be mad..

-: kai;s about to touch jennie's head to pat,, but jennie shove it,,

JENNIE:,, I see,, co-congrats,, (turn around)

-:: jennie is about to leave when kai held her,

KAI: hey~~ where are you going I thought you will tell me something important??

--:she turn around and face kai again.. Looking at him,, jennie take a deep breath and say the words that she's been keeping..

JENNIE: I- I like you kai~~

KAI: what's the problem? I like yo-- (cut off)

JENNIE: more than a friend!!

KAI: je-jennie... I uhh... I'm so-sorry its just..

JENNIE: I know.. (lower her head) you only seeing me as a friend..

KAI: not just that.. your like a sister to me.. I'm overprotected to you and caring as my sister, you are important jennie,, but,, I can't lov eyou back the way you want me to, I am so-sorry..

-: jennie just nod her head,,

JENNIE: I have to go,,

KAI: do you want me to take you home..?

JENNIE: no~ its okay.. she's waiting for you right.. go.. I'll be fine..

-:: before jennie can leave kai hold her wrist and hug her,,.

KAI: please don't be different to me.. I will distance my self to give you enough time to move on.. but I want my little sister back okay??,, you sure can find someone better,, (rubbing jennie's back)

-:: jennie can't help but shred tears.. got her first broken heart,, cause by her first love that can't love her back....

MEANWHILE--

-;; from afar another heart want being torn to pieces.. she's smilling looking at them with tears flowing to her eye's

LISA: you have to move on now,,, she's happy.. you can't compete with him.. he has her heart,,, (laugh fakely).. I guess this is goodbye..

--:: then lisa turn around back to her car,,.

NEXTDAY

JENNIE POV

--It hurts,,, I was broken but,, I think I can take it,, so I acted like nothing happened.. I went down to the livingroom,,, its saturday so no classes,, good thing cause I really don't have the energy to do anything..; I saw lisa scrolling to her phone but she looks so down,, I'ts not that I'm concern but its a bit odd,,

JENNIE: hey! have you seen unnie and chip?

LISA: no-

JENNIE: hmmm.. okay~~

-: I just turn my back to her..:: what's her problem??.."" -i look back at her and she just looking to that stup*d phone. she didn't even look at me.. ''well what ever'' I guess she wont bother me...

--i feel a little relieve that she;s not in the mood to pester me..

but~~ that's what I thought.. the whole day has passed she did'nt went out side or hung out like she always does but she always keeping her distance from me ,she don't talk to me.. and when we cross ways she either take a different way or turn around,, most of all she's not even looking at me ,, not once.. I don't know but it frustrates me..

-:: evening the same day,, jisoonie and seulgi wants to watch movie so were all at the living room.. I'm sitting beside irine when seul and lisa came with popcorns and chips,, seul sits at the other side and call out irine to sit with her,, so the only vacant seat is with me,. I got nervous thinking that lisa will sit beside me,.;;'' what's going on??

-: she sits beside me but putting a space between us.. like she's making sure not to get close to me.. --few minutes when the movie starts,, I can't concentrate to what we are watching ..my attention is on this girl beside me.

--: it is now the second movie and these dorks decided to watch a romance drama thingy,,

-:: we are on the part where the female character is confessing her feelings to the guy chacter,, but unfortunately she was rejected because the guy love someone else.. I felt sad,. I remembered how it hurts when I knew that kai love someone else.. I look at my side.. tnen got little confused.. lisa is staring intently to the tv and her eye's looks hurt and kinda glistering,,

-"' is she about to cry??'' -I didn't know she's into this kind of stuff,,

--:: Jisoonnie is on the other side of me.. when she suddenlly scootch and pushed me towards lisa.. our shoulder pressed,, that made us look to each other,, it was a good 5 seconds stare when I noticed a tear is trying to escape from her eye's.. I felt something unfamiliar.. my hand move on its own ,, I was about to touch her face when she stop me and suddenlly stands up,..

-: I follow her until I caught her wrist before she enters her room,,

JENNIE: lisa wait!!

-:: she didn't even look back when she answer's

LISA: what do you want??

JENNIE: uhhmm.. do-do you have a problem??

LISA: why do you care?

--::her voice is flat and cold..and I was taken aback with her question."" yeah why do I care?..;'' maybe she still bit down when I rejected her.. but I wanna try to be normal to her,, I'm sure she don't feel too deep on me.. she will move on easily..

JENNIE: no- I don't.. its just..

LISA: then drop it.. if you don't have anything to say can you let me go,

-: I let go of her wrist.. and watch as she enters her room and close it,,

--" 3 weeks has passed.. I was able to meet kai's girlfriend,,, she's sweet and very friendly.. and I saw how happy he is,, and I actually felt glad,, I didn't know that I could move on to him that fast, well not totaly since I still feel a bit down when I saw him with her but I'm getting there... now there is another feeling that keeps bothering me,, and it all started when I looked at lisa's eye's, her sad eye's ,,

--: every time we meet gaze I have the urge to talk to her but she always avoids me.. whenever I saw her with our friends she smiles and laugh but a little different than before,, then it always fade when I join our group,, she excuse herself or she became quiet,,.. her attitude towards me starting to annoy me,,

-"" I know I rejected her but she doesn't have to be like that towards me.. '' I am now upset and I can't take it. and I ask help to jisoonnie and the rest of the gang so we can talk,.

--::I am at the empty room,, and its already pass school hours .. I am looking at the window while waiting for them--

SEULGI: dude stop struggling!! hold her tight chuu!!

--: I heard seul's voice near the door,,. when it opens i saw a struggling lisa with a cloth on her mouth ,, jisoonnie and seulgi holding her ,,

JENNIE: gosh! do you hae to cover her mouth??,, let her go unnie,

-:when she was able to speak she glare at me and look at seul and unnie.

LISA : the hell is your problem. tsss.

--: lisa is about to leave.. when they run closing the door and lock it.

LISA: hey!!! chu!! seul!! open this up!!..

--: she keeps on banging the door then I speak.

JENNIE: lets talk lisa..

LISA: what is this jennie??

JENNIE: I just want us to talk. please.

LISA: talk about what?

JENNIE: this... why are you acting this way towards me.. you treat me like you don't know me,, I'm your friend too right?..

--: she's just looking at me with no reactions..

LISA: Is that all?? I have to go..

JENNIE: whats wrong with you?? is this still about me rejecting you??

-: she scoff,,

LISA: your unbeleavable..(shaking her head)

JENNIE: look.. its not that I don't care about your feeling's .. I just want us to be like before .. from being friends.. I'm sure you can still find sa-someone else..

-: I don't know why I hesitate on my last words..

LISA: and that's what I'm doing.. I am trying to avoid this feelings to go further so I can stop my self from hurting.. what else do you want??

--: it felt wierd hearing that from her-

JENNIE: I understand but can you atleast try to be civil with me.. can we start over,, be-being friends?? Its bothering me that I am now becomming a stranger from your eyes..

-: she heave a breate.

LISA: fine~

JENNIE: fine what?

LISA: I'll try..

JENNIE: really??

LISA: yes~~

JENNIE: soo~~ your not going to ignore me anymore??

LISA: yes~

JENNIE: oh my god , I'm so happy!!.

-:: It really did made me happy.. I was about to hug her but she stop me.

LISA: lets take it slow,, I will start interacting with but easy with the physical things.. just,, not yet..

--: why does I felt disapointed..

JENNIE: su-sure of course...(smile)

LISA: can I go now?

JENNIE: can we go together?.. I mean we live in the same dorm are we?

--: she didn't answer and just turn around.. I kinda felt sad.. then I smiled when she turn around and face me again.

JENNIE: I thought you'll leave me here..

LISA: how can I do that ..... if this door is locked?... where's the key..?

JENNIE: do you think I have it??

LISA: ''I KNOW'' you have it.. you planned this.. unless your dumb enough to let them lock us here?

JENNIE: I'm not dumb, you monkey!.. here..

--I thought she will have a retort if I call her that.. she just took the key from my hand and open the door then went out side..

JENNIE: haaaysss.. one step at a time jennie.. at least she's talking to me now.. I feel better.. but she still left me..

--: I get my bag and walk outside with my head low..

LISA: your so slow..

--: a smile creep out of me when I hear her voice..

JENNIE: you wait for me..!!?

LISA: do you want me to leave you??

JENNIE: no no no!! lets go..

--:: I restrain my self from clinging to her arm like I used to since she said to avoid physical contact,, I was following her walking out of the school with big smile on my face
