My pounding heart reached my throat and head, and my soul nearly left my body on hearing the sound. I didn't think that even childhood mischief could get one to feel like they would faint.

My instincts told me to run as far as possible, without trying to think of anything, lest I lose precious time and fall into the pit set up for the prey. So I picked up my skirt and started to run when I was pulled back like an elastic band.

I sighed in defeat yet nevertheless, I could get myself to fight either my heart or the situation. The fact that a dream seemed so real by only the sound made me afraid to step foot into that place.
