"Ugh..." Kaito groaned. Everything's a mess. I don't know how much longer we can keep up fighting. The twins are down. Kaito is still chained up. "What the hell do you want?!" Kaito exclaimed. The woman chuckled. "Oh, nothing, you just irritate me," the woman laughed, "Crazy bitch..." I muttered, "Oh? Dare to repeat it, redhead?" My face went pale, regretting my actions. Where the hell is Kaguya and the others?! The woman stood in front of me, wearing an evil grin. She set her hand on top of my head. [Perish-!] I braced myself. Someone, please! [Winged Shield.]

"Oh dear, I'm sorry, I can't let you do that." A girl with Silver white hair and golden eyes suddenly appeared before me. She held a katana and took a protective stance over me. "Hiss," I also noticed a snake around her neck. It had pure white scales. She looked dazzling under the moon. "How dare you get in my way!" the woman glared at the silver-haired maiden. "Hiroji, is it? I'm Fujihara Shizuka, one of the twilight agents delighted to make your acquaintance" The silver-haired girl bent down to check on me. Wait a minute Shizuka..? strange, I've heard it from somewhere. Wait a minute Shizuka?! Grand Duchess Shizuka?! One of the cursed woman's chains instantly launched itself at Shizuka. "Duchess, watch out!" [Phase I Devoted Guard] an umbrella abruptly emerged, shielding Shizuka from the chains.
Suddenly, a boy appeared on the umbrella. I suppose this guy has teleportation powers. He also had silver hair and wore a fox mask. "Thank you, Ichi!" Shizuka waved cheerfully at him. The guy only smiled and waved back in reply.

The rumors about the grand duchess' beauty were not exaggerated. Her beauty is so exotic and captivating. "Hiroji Toress," the guy gave me a menacing aura signaling me to back off. I quickly averted my eyes, blushing. I don't remember the grand duchess having a brother, so who is this person? "I thought the gifted children trained by the agencies would become a menace to the cursed society. Guess we overestimated you guys" The woman in red chuckled. If only I had a gift that would give me such power, then I could at least do something to make sir Murakami proud. "Hiro..." Shizuka called out. I saw her smile gently as if she knew what I was thinking, "Don't underestimate yourself" with that, she placed her katana back on her sheath, and it looked like she was reloading something. "Pardon me for not introducing myself. I'm Duke Ichiro Fujihara, grand duchess Shizuka's fiance," Ichiro gave a short bow. "You guys seem to forget my existence," The woman in red fumed [Corruption]. The woman in red was ready to strike. Her silver chains turned black and glowed red.

[Viper's Venom] Shizuka's katana shone green, like a snake preparing to bite its prey. "As if you can slice me with that pathetic sword of yours," the next thing I knew, all chains were slashed into pieces. Shizuka appeared before the woman and went for the head [Black Cupid's Arrow]. Five black arrows appeared. They were about to go through Shizuka [Phase III Cease]. Ichiro's umbrella pattern changed into a clock pattern, the long hand pointing to the number three. The cursed woman and the arrows froze, making Shizuka quickly slash the curse. "Huh?" The cursed woman was bewildered; although the slash injured her, she still stood tall. As expected, S-tier curses are on a different level. It didn't even do any damage to her. I turned to look at my comrades who had fallen. Kaito was breathing heavily. He seemed in so much pain, and the twins were heavily injured. My right leg is busted. I can only stay still and hope for Shizuka and Ichiro to win.

"Ha, you idiots think you can kill me easily-!" the woman coughed up blood. "W-what?" *Crack* the woman's skin started cracking and looked like it was going to rot away. "M-my face! What did you do?!" the curse screamed in agony and suffered the pain for at least 10 minutes before falling off the ground. Then minutes later, she passed out. Her skin was purple, and her head looked like it will explode. The chains that were wrapped around Kaito disappeared. "K-Kaito!" I groaned in pain. I crawled up to him *cough cough* he was coughing so much. "Ugh, Hiro, I'm sorry," Kaito fainted after apologizing. "I hope you can rest peacefully after this mess," Shizuka gave a pitiful smile and patted the woman's head. She looked like an angel that descended from the heavens. Then suddenly, I felt chills running down my spine. I turned to look at the source and saw Ichiro scowling at me. His amethyst eyes glowed under the mask and showed malice toward me.
The stunt Shizuka pulled was more like an Ss ranker would do. Both Ichiro and Shizuka have such perfect chemistry as expected of members of the royal family. I took a moment to examine their features. Both of them are wearing kimono-like outfits. Shizuka had a butterfly pattern coat and a black sheath attached to her waist. Her sword had a butterfly and snake crest. She also had a white fox mask with red streaks on the left side of her head.
On the other hand, Ichiro wore a black fox mask with purple streaks and a black coat with a hood on. His umbrella is colored purple and has a faint pattern of a clock. His powers should be related to time. "Grand Duchess and grand duke, please forgive my discourtesy!" I knew I should've studied about the imperial family. I should've paid attention to the teacher's lessons. "Please don't call me grand duke. I still haven't married the grand duchess," Ichiro spoke in a low tone. The hint of pink in his cheeks is also noticeable. Both are not married, but they share the same name. Are they perhaps cousins? Shizuka chuckled. "Lucky for you fellows, we sensed danger coming from here," Ichiro nodded in agreement and proceeded to check on Kaito. "I don't know what's holding them back, but I already contacted them during the chase," I don't know what's holding the others from coming here; I hope they're not in danger. Ichiro pointed his umbrella at the cursed woman. [Phase VII Seal] the curse went inside the umbrella?! "No need to be so shocked. It's part of his abilities."
Shizuka gave me a warm smile, but I felt threatened. Even though she wore a gentle smile, her aura felt odd, or just because it was the imperial family's aura.

We should get you guys treated first [Flutura's BLessing]. A lot of butterflies suddenly appeared, surrounding all of us. One BUtterfly touched my right leg then it instantly healed. I looked at the others. They were all healed but still asleep. "I'm not that powerful. It would be best if you let them sleep for now" I nodded. Minutes later, we sensed auras coming at us. I looked in the direction it was coming from, hoping it wasn't a curse. Shizuka and Ichiro prepared themselves, ready to strike. "Hiro! Kaito!" A familiar voice called out to us, "Olivia!" Kaguya, Zak, and Kamiko were coming toward us. "Guys!!!" I called out to them. It was the first time I saw Zak's worried face. usually, he has his usual poker face on "Hiro!" Zak called. Is he finally concerned with me? I can't help but shed tears, Zak, we may not be blooded brothers, but to me, you've always been- *Bonk* "You idiot!" Ah, I should've known..."Ouch, what was that for my head..." I groaned in pain. I didn't notice that he ran past me to aid the twins. "I can't believe you got these two involved!" I'm such an Idiot. "Olivia, Maddison, what did you do to them?!" He exclaimed, "Calm down, we need to treat them first," Kaguya spoke, then unexpectedly. The atmosphere became heavy. Shizuka had a stern look, and Ichiro's eyes glowed. It looked like they were staring at Kamiko and Kaguya. "Excuse me, but It's time for us to leave now. It was nice meeting you, Hiroji. Until then," Shizuka leaped into the air while Ichiro followed behind her like a shadow. An awkward silence fell on us. "Kamiko-" I started but was quickly shut down by her. "Not now, Hiro" Kamiko then left to contact Liam. Kamiko must not be in the mood right now. She never shuts me down like that. I turned to Kaguya and was surprised her face went pale. I also noticed they were injured, but not that extreme. "Liam is coming. We'll talk about what happened in the morning," Kaguya spoke. Everything was quiet; no one uttered a word.
