Clary POV
I woke up this morning do Jace's arm slung around my waist. At that moment something was missing but I couldn't figure out what,I sat up and accidentally woke Jace. "Clary?" He said and I looked at him and put on a fake smile. "Clary I know when you're lying,tell me now" I sighed and snuggled up to him. "I feel as if something is missing?" I said and he looked and me confused. "What do you mean missing?" I looked at him "Like not everything or everyone is here" I looked out the window and thought.
A name came to my head 'Celine' "Jace?" I asked him and he looked at me. "Yes?" He replied. "Your mothers name was Celiné. That name just came to my head and I have a feeling that she is the person that's missing" He looked at me with a puzzled face. "But that's my mother's name and why would you know anyone with that name" I frowned at him and thought a bit more. "Celiné Ava Herondale" I realised that the name was important to me.
"Jace we need to find Celiné Ava Herondale" He nodded,still really confused but we both got dressed and left."Clary where are we headed?" I looked around "Well,they are related to you right? So we can use our angelic bond that we share to track her" He nodded. We activated our runes and we managed to track her. She was at an apartment in Brooklyn,I told Jace and we both left. When we arrived I walked up to the receptionist. "Clary Fray" I said and the receptionist looked up. "Ah..Clary there was a small infant left in your apartment and have been left there for over 24 hours" I looked at the receptionist very confused.
"I will be going up there now" The receptionist nodded and we headed up. Once we were there we found the door open and crept in quietly. "Clary we dont even know who this girl is" I looked at him and shook my head. There was a small baby on the bed crying out loudly. I picked her up and looked tentatively at her. "Are you Celiné?" I said knowing she couldn't answer. She smiled happily at me. Jace looked between the baby and I. "Clary! How could you?!" He shouted and stormed out of the room. "Jace!" I called,but he didn't look back. I left Celiné in the room. I eventually found him on the balcony.
Jace POV
I couldn't believe it.Clary had a daughter! A DAUGHTER! With somebody else. I started crying on the balcony. I felt betrayed then Clary came up to me. "Jace..." I looked at her with red eyes. "What Clary?! You got into a relationship with somebody else and had a damn child!" She looked at me and frowned but then smiled. "But Jace do remember yesterday when I remembered who you were and the shadow world a biy came round the corner and then that girl came by she said that I never even kissed that boy." I looked at her with hope. "So you're saying that-" Clary looked at me happily. "She's yours" I picked Clary and swung her round in a circle then pulled her into a hug.
"Come on let's go and see her" I said and we went back down to the apartment and opened the door. (This is what she looks like)
"Can I hold her?" I asked Clary. She smiled softly at me. "Jace,you don't need to ask me to do anything with her,she's your daughter too" I slowly picked her up and cradled her slowly in my arms and sing her a lullaby that I know.

Clary's POV
Just watching Jace sing that lullaby made me feel so much better and I can tell that he will be a great father. "I don't know how we will do this Clary,but I know that we will manage" Jace said then started playing with Celine's fingers."She's so tiny." I looked happily at the pair. "Yes,I had her nearly a month early" Jace was shocked. "I know shadowhunter children came early but this early? Wow,I guess our Angelic Powers have something to do with it" I smiled at him. "She will be so bad*ss you know as she has both our Angel power. She will have all the boys at the flick of her wrist" Jace chuckled quietly. "Her Daddy is going to make sure no boys ho anywhere near his little princess" I laughed and smiled at them. Jace put Celiné back into her cradle.
(This is the apartment)
Jace POV
"You know Clary,are you sure you want to come back to the institute. You've made yourself a great home here already?" I asked. She pondered for a moment before speaking. "I'm not sure,as it would be a big change for her" She pointed to Cece.(Yes I know it's so cringey but I like it). "I dont mind Clary,but you could live here and the institute like if we come back after a mission and it's easier to come here than to drag ourselves to the institute" Clary looked at me and thought. "I think that would be a good plan" I smiled at her and we went into Clary's bedroom. Once our bodies touched the bed we were both fast asleep.
I woke up at 4am to Cece crying. I felt Clary start to wake up,but I stopped her. "Hey,I'll get her I want you to get some sleep for once" She smiled at me and went back to sleep quickly,I laughed at her quietly and left to go and find my daughter. Once I got to her I lifted her slowly into my arms and pulled her gently into my chest. She stopped crying and fell back asleep in my arms. I smiled at her sleeping form and brought her back to Clary and I's bed and placed her in the middle. I fell back asleep very quickly with a happy smile on my face. I thought one thing: How the hell are we going to tell everybody?!
