Chapter 1: What's the feeling?
Zya was scrolling through her social media list page when she saw a notification alert.Her best friend Kyal just posted a new picture.She hurriedly went to check it but her happiness vanish immediately when she discovered that Kyal posted a girl with a captioning 'love of my life'
"A girl?He never posted about me on his social media before!"Before Zya could realize,hot tears had started to fall from her eyes but why is she crying?
The ping of a new message entrance made her take a glance back at her phone!Kyal's new text was displayed on her phone screen 'Hey!'
'Hi!'Zya replied back with a sour feeling in her chest.Still feeling low at her best friend's actions.They were close,Kyal was her closest friend.Why can't he post her on his social media pages?Why?
"How are you?Where are you?"Kyal sent her a love emoji!He really missed Zya so much and he wished he could be with her every time but he knew that's impossible.He only have to work harder so that she can lean on him every time
Zya checked Kyal's new message but refuses to answer.She can be really petty when it comes to feelings.
"What's up?"Kyal sent again.Feeling nervous at his best friend lack of reply even though she has checked his message
"M good.At home,just busy!"Zya lied immediately
"Oh,I'm busy as f**k, too.Had to do some important things.You're really free!.I do wish I can be free like you."Kyal really wishes they could both be free so that he can be the only one by her side every time.
Zya's mood turned worser and her lips immediately became downturned.She pressed her lips together as a frown settled on her beautiful face"And I wished I was like you too!"
Growing up in a family where you can't go out.Always locked up every time,but that wasn't the case for Kyal, he's free to do anything,go to wherever he like, having so much freedom that makes Zya so envious.
She once heard that some people envy her, but those people must be a fool because her life is really pathetic
"Lol!"Kyal chuckled happily.He really wished he can take her out on a date someday knowing his girl hates to be inside but will she agree?His mood turned worser upon remembering the reality!
"By the way, that's a nice picture on your social media pages!"Zya commented sarcastically but thankfully it was a text so Kyal won't understand the sarcasm behind the texts
Kyal shifted about in his seat.His eyes flashes with excitement.He clenched his phone hard as he reread Zya's message.Did Zya feel something for him?Why would she text him something like that?But Kyal still replies"Hmm.Thanks!"
"She's beautiful!"Zya's mood turned for the worse without reason.Tears seems to want to fall from her eyes,she had to look up to the ceiling and blink her eyes rapidly before it could clear a little
"Really?"Kyal's excitement disappears immediately.Doesn't she feel anything?His cousin said when Zya sees the picture, she'll be angry and sad but none of it was displaying in Zya's text.
Does that mean Zya doesn't like him a little bit?If not, how would she feel jealous then!"She's my girlfriend!"He quickly types back wishing Zya will show a reaction, then he'll ask his cousin what to do?
Kyal really wished Zya will see him in a different light and says something that'll express her feelings cos Zya is someone who likes to bottle up her emotions
"Okay!"Zya's mood turned worse and she threw her phone away angrily.Luckily it fell on the bed.She is Kyal's girlfriend? Girlfriend? Does Kyal have a girlfriend? When?Why?How?What?Zya could feel many emotions running through her at that minute.
"Are you jealous?"He asked with a laughing emoji but he's not joking.He wished she would say yes and he'll really fly to her place,hold her in his embrace and proposed to her immediately
Zya doesn't know why but she immediately turned angry at Kyal's response.Why would Kyal say she's jealous?Jealous about that ugly bitch?Hmph! She would never, besides she only take Kyal as a friend.Nothing more than that!
"Why would I?You're just a friend to me,never would be more than that!"Zya replied back with a proud smirk on her face.
Zya really hoped that her words would hurt Kyal,so he won't come bothering her again.Zya feels like she's really lying to herself but why would she lie to herself for a guy?Just for a friend?She doesn't like Kyya,right? They are just friends!
"What?"Kyal stood up and staggered back in shock.The time they've spent together,all his ways of showing affections secretly,he thought they've begun to get more close than friends would, but Zya said they'll never be more than that!No!He wanted to be more
Zya scowled inwardly!Why would Kyal ask her,a friend, those kinds of damned questions.Doesn't he have a girlfriend?He could spend all the time in his world with her,who cares?
She and Kyal are just friends,they'll be nothing more than that.Never!"Don't ever tell me I'm jealous!Never in your life!"Zya screamed at her phone as if it was Kyal and then dropped the phone in anger,her chest heaving rapidly.What a bastard! She really hopes they break up soon! she furrowed her brows at her thinkings
Why would she say that though?She scowled at herself and lied back on the bed
