Chapter 2: Prologue: The other side
Welcome back,a soft voice echoed out as a figure of male slowly approached towards the sound of the voice. The shadow of a a female could be seen standing near a gate as a soft beam of moonlight shine through the passing clouds above. The male figure looked up at her and ignored her as he walked pass and push the gate open. No hi? You're such a disappointment for being called a god of fate you know? He stopped for a brief moment and looked back at her and grinned before reaching out with his right hand and grabbing her by the throat. Her eyes widened as he choked her,she grabbed his arm by the wrists to try to pull him off only for it to fail. In a deep voice he simply replied,what makes you think im here today for this little gathering? Without warning the arm choking her not but a few minutes ago was now sliced in two,he smiled with a sinister look as he kept his eyes on her as his thoughts were right on the mark " so it is as they say,no one here is as simple as they look good" Before this turns into a blood bath lets say we end this now,besides its about to start and we wouldn't want to miss what HE has to say,as the female's voice rang in his ears with no hint of mercy just a cold chill that issued a warning to him. He smirked at her while picking up his arm and reattaching it as if it wasn't sliced off just seconds ago,fine you win for now Rena. Just know next time I'll won't be so kind,he looked at her with blood lust in his eyes before quietly walking through the gate towards the tower hovering above. Rena watched as his back slowly disappeared inside the tower,she then let out a short sigh as she rubbed her neck softly. So that guy he's Grimly huh? Guess the director was right for keeping a watch over him,why did they let him join the order of fate I wonder? Hmmm as she stood there and thought for a bit before she sighed again and shook her head. No use worrying over it right now I'll be late if I stay here any longer. She sprinted through gate and into the tower.
Meanwhile
Director Fidel the God's of Fate have all gathered and are awaiting you in the conference hall sir. The man sitting behind a desk looked up from his computer towards the female and sighed before standing up and straightening his tie. I guess its time to explain why I called them all back,be prepared for any counter measures we may have to take. Fidel walked towards the female and placed his hand on her shoulder while standing next to her with a serious tone from his voice he spoke. Miss Maria from this day forward you will be the acting director after today's conference,please take care and remember after today everything will change for both us and the worlds the humans and us the gods of fate live in. She listen to his words with a heavy heart as she has been the assistance director for a good thousand years now and this of all thing's the director is saying I'm in charge after this conference? She nodded her head and replied with a worrying tone yes sir....but he cut her off and shook his head as he could sense her worry and what she was about to ask him. He then proceeded to open the door and began walking towards the magic transporter,she also followed after him and stood on the transporter as their bodies become engulfed in light were they stood and got transported to conference hallway in the back. They both proceeded towards the two big doors leading into a the main hall where the conference was about to begin,noises of the hall could be heard before even being reached as confusion and uproars of the order of gods could be heard talking to one another. The God's of Fate were beings who protected the order of things in the realm of the humans from the shades,shades are beings of the realm of Twilight who wanted to rule over all 6 realms and the first was the human realm. Human,Twilight,Fate,Order,Chaos,and Beast were all the realms connected through portals,but only the human realm was unaware of the existence of the other realms. Thanks to the Fate realm and their gods of fate they kept things peaceful in the human realm while the others beside the twilight realm who are trying to rule over them all.
Silence the director his about to make his speech! The conference hall fell silent as everyone stood up in silence waiting on the director to appear,soon foot steps echoed out as it got closer the foot steps grew louder before long the director soon approached the stage and his eye's shifted to the side as he continued walking towards the middle of the stage. Once he was standing in the center of the stage now he motioned with his hand for everyone to take a seat,everyone their slowly sat down in their chairs the air filled with nervous tension as no one knew why they were all recalled so suddenly. Director Fidel will now begin his speech,as soon as Maria finished with that line the director began to speak...but just before he did gasps filled the hall and echoed out from everywhere. Their eye's were all focus on alone male figure standing behind the now headless director,then the sound of a hurricane roared and whipped around as the figures speed was so fast it only now could be heard around the hall. Then everyone stood up each one drawing their weapons and focusing their eye's on the prey standing before each and everyone one of them,Grimly! Grimly smirked and looked behind him before discarding the director's head as it rolled across the stage,he turned to face them as his arms slowly glowed a crimson red and armor claws appeared out of nowhere with dark blood red tips of the claws glowed,his smile was cold yet it looked as if he was hungry for more blood. The tension in the air was even more rough as sparks of intense energy stormed around the room,he opened his mouth to speak in a deep voice that felt like it could slice anyone in two. There is no need to act so high and mighty now right? I mean I waited long enough and besides you all would of the same,so don't be mad it was me first. Grimly chuckled to himself feeling pleased as the other people in the hall began to feel rage as he said those words,yet soon enough more figures appeared also bearing crimson weapons around outer sides inside the conference hall. A big burley figure with a crimson double sided spear answered Grimly back. Fool you're always acting with to much haste,now we can't hear what he wanted to say as his final words. The burley figure began to laugh jokingly as if to mock the director and his subordinates,another figure who was slimmer and shorter the the rest spoke out. Enough you two! We begin now regardless of the situation at hand,a crimson red book appeared in this figure hands before one hand raised up and blood red spears began to form in the air from all around the hall. Everyone in the hall weapons drawn and preparing themselves for the battle that was about to take place,they all steeled their resolve knowing that this wasn't going to be an easy fight by any means.
One more day till new years eve....
