Chapter 9: Bloody Massacre
It's been a few days since the battle with the red goblins, we haven't run into that many demons or monsters.
We are supposed to make it to the town called Aznar today. Aznar is a town right outside of the crimson forest, so the closest human populated place to the Demon continent.
It is currently 4:50am, we are walking in crimson forest at a quick pace. We expect to make it to the human continent in about 6 hours and Aznar in about an hour.
After 6 hours of sprinting through the Crimson Forest, we entered the human continent.
I bought the human disguise skill with skill points. Human disguise is a skill which allows me to take on a disguise as a human at the cost of 2 penalties. My stats are decreased by half and it only hides a few inhuman features.
I decided not to use this skill unless I'm in a town or if there are humans that I see near me.
It only took a few seconds to complete. I looked like a beautiful woman with an average height and an hourglass figure with a large bosom, a black and purple-colored one-piece dress, human ears and black hair that fell down my shoulders to my round butt. I had a heart-shaped face, a straight nose, and blue-colored eyes.
After we all got a disguise on, we headed toward the town. After nearly an hour of walking, we saw the town in the distance and sped up our pace.
Ten minutes later, we reached the town. It was very peaceful for a largely populated town, it had a Hunters Union building in the center of the city, but there weren't that many hunters living in this large town on the outskirts of the human continent.
We walked along the streets that were filled with stalls and people. There were some people selling food and jewelry.
"Come get your apples" said one of the merchants at a stall.
We ignored the people at the stalls and decided to find an inn to stay until night came. After searching for a few hours, we found The Star Inn, which is a branch of a famous inn which is in multiple towns and cities on the human continent.
We opened the door to the inn. When we entered, we were greeted by a woman who had a below average height with a plump figure, a large bosom, wearing a barkeeper's uniform, short brown hair which went down to her ear with a rounded face, nice smile, a snub nose, and green-colored eyes.
"What can I do for you three young ladies?" said the barkeeper, with a kind smile.
"We would like a room to stay one night". I said.
"OK, Adeline, can you lead these three young ladies to their room". Said the barkeeper to a barmaid.
"Yes ma'am, I'll do it right away". Adeline Said.
She rushed over to us and told us to follow her. After a little while of walking, we got to our room. We then entered it. The room was 10 meters in width by 10 meters in length. It had three beds which perfectly suited us and some room for three people in the closet.
"Do you need anything else" Adeline asked with a smile.
"No, thanks for helping us". I said.
She quickly left the room, leaving us three alone in the room.
"Why did you talk so politely to those inferior humans, my lady?" Fiona asked.
"If you want to get captured or killed, keep acting how you are, I don't want to talk politely with them, but my mother said it is a way to further keep people from discovering that I'm a vampire". I said.
"Oh, it makes sense" said Fiona and Leah.
It was now noon. I had 12 hours until we would begin our hunt. So I decided to look around the town and maybe buy a few things.
The maids followed since they had to watch me by the orders of my mother. I could tell they didn't want to go, but they couldn't disobey my mother, so they went with me anyway.
We walked through the town and found some women's clothing shops. I decided to buy a few knee-high one-piece dresses. I bought a white,black, and red dress, a dark gray, black, red dress, and a red and white dress which cost one hundred silver.
I paid with the money my mother gave me before we left and stored the dresses in my storage space.
"Do you want to do a massacre tonight, my lady". Fiona said with a hungry expression.
"Sure why not". I said.
"Alright". Fiona said with a happy expression.
We walked through the city while figuring out the layout of it. After an hour, we went back to the inn which we stayed in until midnight.
Eleven hours later, it was now midnight, the time we chose to start the massacre. We first deactivated our disguise skills, and decided to kill everyone in this inn first, then move on from there.
We left our room, l went to the room which was to the right of ours, while Fiona went left and Leah went to the right of mine.
I entered my target's room, he was lying on his back while sleeping loudly. I then sunk my fangs into the nape of his neck. The blood tasted sweet but it was considerably worse than the last ones I'd drunk. Before he fell limb he woke up from his deep sleep from the pain, but it was too late, since he was dead shortly after he woke up.
I left right after he died. I thought that Fiona and Leah would be done with their first kills, but they weren't until a few minutes later, which made me realize my bloodsucking speed was too fast. I guessed it must be from being a vampire princess, who has the same bloodline strength as the vampire queen.
We then sucked all the blood of every living being in the inn, leaving no one in sight.
After finishing off all the living beings in the inn, we started a massacre in the town. We split up, each taking 1/3 of the town. I took the northeast side and silently broke into a mansion.
I used blood sense and blood flow vision to look for any signs of life, which I found five on the top floor and 10 on the bottom. I was on the top floor, so I decided to target the ones with the strongest blood essence.
I entered a room where I found one woman and one man sleeping in bed. I went over and dug my fangs into the man. He woke up and tried to attack, but I was already prepared with a nimble step, and dodged his attack. I formed a blood scythe within a few milliseconds and sliced off his arms. The scythe siphoned half of his blood, which further strengthened it. Afterwards, I drank the rest of his blood until he died.
He died shortly afterwards without being able to make a sound. After he died, I went over to the woman and drank her blood, which was an indescribable sweet. The woman woke up but she had no strength left from too much blood loss to resist.
After the parents were killed, I quickly killed the remaining thirteen people without any resistance, which made me think this town was never on guard for attacks against anything.
I left the mansion with a sweet taste of blood in my mouth. I then went to the next house I saw, which I killed, sucked blood and killed four of them without any resistance.
I went to the last bedroom with a sign of blood essence. He had the strongest blood essence I've seen tonight. When I dug my fangs into his neck and sucked for a few seconds, he attacked instantly after waking up, which I dodged. I then created a blood scythe and slashed at him.
He grabbed a sword from his storage space and clashed with my scythe, which in turn caused him to fly backwards from my strong blow.
He knew he couldn't beat me, since that strike from me was far stronger than his, so he decided to go all out with a suicidal attack.
He rushed toward me with sword in hand, and slashed at me, which missed by a hair because of my minimal steps. I then slashed his limbs off, which caused him to fall to the ground with only a torso left.
I sank my fangs into his nape once again and sucked him dry of blood. I then left without any delay, looking for my next victim.
For the next 15 houses, I drank the blood of the living beings and if they resisted, I would cut off their limbs and then drink their blood.
Once I got to my last house, I finished off the women and children quickly, but when I was about to dig my fangs into the male's neck, he grabbed my arm and flung me into a wall, which I landed on, stopping my momentum and landing softly but elegantly on the floor.
Once he saw me, he became angry after seeing his lifeless wife on the bed beside him.
"You will pay for this, you merciless Vampire". He said while yelling in sadness and anger.
He grabbed his sword from his storage space and bolted toward me with lightning fast speed, which shocked me only for a second, but I dodged his attack with minimal movement and created a blood scythe which I sliced toward his neck.
He dodged my attack and took another strike toward my neck, which I dodged, barely causing a small gash on my arm. I thought it would start healing quickly, but the injury started increasing in size.
I thought for a few seconds, I then realized that it was a Chaos Magic skill called corrupt. When inflicting an injury, it increases the size of the injury over time, which can lead anyone to death from a simple cut.
"You're dead now". Said the now with a cocky tone.
I decided the quickest way to end this fight now, would to use short-range teleportation when he thinks he has won.
I activated a blood clone, which created a clone of myself instantly after I teleported. It was still not as strong as my current self, but it can be used as a decoy for a few seconds.
I activated Shadow Stealth and teleported behind him with scythe in hand, which I sliced at his neck. He was too distracted to pay attention to his intuition, which caused his head to fly off.
I let my blood scythe absorb the blood inside of my head while I trained the blood which was in the heart.
After drinking his blood, I realized this guy might've been a High Human, since his blood was close to on par with the high human blood I drank in the castle.
The blood healed my wound a little bit, which was still expanding. I decided to leave the city so I could treat it by disrupting the Chaos Magic with my own.
I ran a few hundred feet from the town, away from where anyone would be. I started using Chaos Magic and Healing Magic on my expanding wound.
After a few hours of disrupting the Chaos Magic and healing my injury, I was able to fully heal the wound.
I decided to leave the hiding spot and head away from the town further into the human continent. Luckily, vampires don't get tired, so I was able to walk the whole night.
