Mariejois, a city located at the top of the red line and home of the nobles. It is a virtually untouchable city, protected by the most powerful sailors, slaves and royal soldiers. With such protection the city was virtually impenetrable.
That would soon change...
A young blond man walked calmly through one of the corridors in one of the castles of the sacred city, as if on a stroll. His gaze was calculating, he moved as if he had known the place all his life as he nonchalantly ate a chocolate bar.
"Hehehe, here they come..." he muttered under his breath.
Suddenly two guards and two nobles crossed his path, effectively cutting him off. The presence of a noble would be enough to intimidate anyone, but the blond wasn't just anyone.
"Hold it right there, trespasser!" shouted one guard looking at him as if he were an insect. How arrogant.
"Oh, look how cute he is, I want him as my slave" Said the noblewoman on the left. She was an attractive woman, though her beauty was marred by her arrogant expression.
'she would look better with a sweet smile. What a waste.' thought the blond.
"'You heard my sister, apprehend him and put a collar on him' bellowed the other nobleman. If the blond had to describe him he would say his image was very common and forgettable. Pathetic.
"Hehehe, I'm so sorry, but I will never be a slave to a woman." said the blond, waving his hand towards his face and taking the sunglasses that all this time had been covering his eyes.
When he took them off those present were dumbfounded.
"Violet eyes with concentric circles! H-he's Uzumaki D Naruto!" exclaimed a concerned guard.
"Who is he?" the second guard asked ignorantly.
"He's a pirate who caused trouble in the world below, said to have fought on equal footing with Admiral Kizaru!"
"What is a pirate with such power doing here!" said the second guard this time frightened.
"Hehehehe, don't be alarmed..." the blond said or now Naruto took a bite of the chocolate bar, chewed then swallowed audibly. "...I'm just here to negotiate."
"Negotiate? Who do you think you are? You're not even worthy to tread this hallowed ground!" the noblewoman said, arrogance oozing from every word.
"Oh, but you see, I am more than worthy to set my feet here. Let me introduce myself properly... my name is.... Uzumaki D D Naruto!"
"Two D's?" both guards and nobles were confused, it was weird to have one D, but two?!
"I'm not quite sure what one of the "D's" means, but I do know perfectly well what the other one means..." said Naruto "...Donquixote.... Uzumaki Donquixote D Naruto!"
"Donquixote... you have noble blood!" the surprise could be easily discerned on everyone's faces. "But that doesn't matter, your family was expelled from this place! you can't come back here, even if your blood is noble!"
"I have no interest in coming to live here, I only came to negotiate" he took out another chocolate bar and opened it. "You see, before she died, my mother made sure that I had everything to survive in this cruel world. She gave me these eyes, and with them the strength to defend myself. But strength can only defend me to a certain extent. So, to protect me from the nobles, she gave me... a certain secret, which I'm sure they don't want to come out" he said as he devoured his chocolate bar.
"Kill him!" the woman exclaimed desperately.
"Hehehe, I wouldn't do that." said Naruto pulling out a Den Den Mushi. "One wrong move and everyone finds out your precious secret."
"Damn..." the noblewoman gritted her teeth furiously. "Alright, what do you want?"
"That's better. I want a ship, the best one they can build me. And you'd better do it quickly, since I'm not leaving here until it's built." he takes a bite of the chocolate bar. "And I also want my friend back, you guys must know him. His name is Hatake Kakashi."
The nobles couldn't help but nod.
"Tch, okay. Prepare a room for him!"
[{That night- Slave cells}]
"Copy Cat, Hatake Kakashi, 150 000 000 berries reward, you really are as you've been described."
"Maa maa, looks like I'm famous, pitifully I don't know who you are." said Kakashi, who was a man with half of his face covered.
"My name is Uzumaki DD. Naruto, and I am your new captain."
