Chapter 3: First Bite
Inevitable Fate
10 days had passed since the human race's attack on the vampire kingdom, more than 10 thousand knights from the human race died in that war and only 1 person remained.
"Kill me…"
"Fufufu… You have no right to die because our queen loves you so much… an ugly human like you made our queen provide special protection… KNOW YOUR PLACE HUMAN…!!"
Natalia's body, which is full of slash scars, looks helpless in prison. For 10 days since the aggression ended, Natalia become the vampire queen's toy. She was the only human knight who survived that aggression, Natalia knew she had no hope. Her country had clearly discarded all the troops on the front line when they knew about the vampire queen's condition.
'I should have listened to my teacher's warning from the start…'
Natalia reminiscing about the martial arts teacher who always taught her about sword techniques. Her teacher was one of the famous swordsmen who never wanted to be a magic knight.
'Don't trust anyone and if you don't want to die… Don't take part in the vampire castle attack mission this time.'
Those were the words of her teacher before Natalia left on a mission to conquer the Vampire Castle. As Natalia sinks into her last memories with the teacher, a sound of footsteps is heard from outside of the prison. Then a vampire guard who was previously very angry starts opening the door of the prison where Natalia was. A woman holding a baby appeared, which made Natalia change her face.
"W-why you come again…?"
Natalia's body trembled when she asked the woman who was none other than the vampire queen. Natalia's body recalled how terrible torment of the red spiked whip she had received a few hours earlier. She remembered how thorny whips were put in her mouth and danced through her insides. When Natalia almost died, Sonya always cast high recovery magic. Sonya just smiled when she saw how scared Natalia was when she saw her arrival.
"Don't be so scared my dear… I came this time for a special event…"
"Fo-for what…?"
"I will offer you a chance…"
"Chance…?"
"Yup… You should be happy because you will get special treatment…"
"Special treatment…?"
"You got the chance to be my son's servant and get the first bite from him."
Natalia's face grew paler when she heard the vampire queen's words. The first bite of a vampire means that she will be the test material to determine the power of the newborn vampire. The first bite was often a vampire's failed attempt, the reason being that would-be servants couldn't withstand the power the vampire gave.
"Or you can choose life in this prison as my toy~ Fo.. re… ver…♪"
*gulp…*
Natalia knew from the start that she had no choice but to refuse the vampire queen's offer. Sonya smiled when she saw Natalia stare at the prince who was being carried.
"So it's decided… Let's start the ceremony…"
The whole prison room where Natalia was locked up was starting to get coated in a red liquid that was coming from Sonya's body. After covering the entire room, Sonya brought Novar close to Natalia's shoulder. Novar opened his mouth and let Natalia see how sharp his fangs were.
'This is the end of my life as a human…'
Natalia just closes her eyes, she can feel Novar bite her shoulder and all the blood in her body was burning. On the other hand, Novar, who gave the bite, seemed to really enjoy the moment. The feeling inside him was a mixture of comfort and guilt for being tainted by a woman. A few hours after giving Natalia the first bite, Novar was pondering. He thought back to what he had done when he had just reincarnated.
'As far as I know… when I just got reincarnated as a baby… I already killed a hundred human soldiers… created some miasma… made my mother recover her energy… and tainting a woman to make her body into a vampire… All of that is far from normal for a newborn baby like me. '
Novar tries to get up from his bed and see the moonlight from the window. Novar saw his own hand and feet which were the same as normal babies.
"What exactly did Suina give me...?"
Novar closed his eyes because he couldn't help feeling sleepy as a baby. In dreamland, Suina comes to Novar to give a final explanation.
"Suina…?"
"Yep, that's me…"
"What place is this…?"
"This is your dream… I came in your dream to explain about your power and your gift…"
"My gift…?"
"Yup… you have 3 gift from gods, one of them was from me… another gift came from God of Creation, sir Ginggaran… and God of Death, Funnaria… we give you some blessings so listen to my word carefully… because I will never repeat it…"
Suina starts explaining the gift that gods give to Novar, the first gift is immortality. Immortality was a gift from Suina as God of Life, that immortality is very strong. Even holy water or holy weapons can't injure or kill Novar in battle. Normally, weapons that are covered with holy water or holy weapons are very effective at killing vampires.
The next one is a gift from Ginggaran as God of Creation, the second gift is Unlimited Creation. This gift was stronger than immortality from Suina. As long as Novar can organize the ideas of things, he can create them. Magic, weapons, special equipment, and even new vehicles can be made by Novar as long as he has knowledge about it. No matter how dangerous it was to the World of Argaz, Novar could still make it without any restrictions.
The final gift came from Funnaria as God of Death, she gifts a Death Angel to Novar. Death Angel is an active skill that has 3 optional choices. First, it can kill people around the user instantly. Second, this skill can make a death contract with a target bound to the chain of death. Third, this skill can create an anti-magic area and also disable blessings from gods at the same time. But the weakness is, that the user can only have one skill effect at a time and has a time lag of 1 hour before it can be used again.
"And for an extra gift, I'm giving you a status screen that makes it easy for you to see your personal data or other people's data… you just need to say [Status] on your mind for using it."
Novar immediately tried the status screen that was given by Suina, he followed Suina's explanation and the status screen appeared in front of him.

"I understand… but I still have one question…"

"How many people in this world have perfect numbers on their stat…?"
"That's a rather difficult question to answer… but I can tell you a few people who are still alive and have a perfect score on their stats. The first one is Demon King who has 2 perfect scores on his stats… strength and intelligence… The second one is your mother… Sonya The Queen of Vampires… She has perfect stats on her intelligence… Then we have former General Magic Knight… He was a human with perfect stats on strength… The last one is The King of Angelic race… He is almost the same as your mother… he got perfect stats on his intelligence… only those four people I know have 100 on their stats... there may be a few more... but I don't know for sure who they are and what their stats numbers are… You can check it yourself with the status screen which I gave as an extra gift when you meet them…"
"So there are already 3 people I have to watch out for... this world looks interesting and full of challenges…"
"You're right, especially since the demon race and its allies are in a bad state from losing so many battles... ah almost forgot… it seems my time is up... the rest you have to learn everything yourself... I'm sure you can... so I'll just pray for your life in this new world..."
"Wa-wait…! What you mean about a bad state…!?"
Before Novar get his answer, he already awakes from his sleep when Suina disappears.
