Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Cabin in the Woods.

As the old man and I continued to walk on the rugged stone trail we approached a set of rotten stairs that lead up a small hill apparently to where the Cabin rested. "This is as far as I take you, the Cabin is just past these steps."
"Thank you for guiding me here old man, speaking of that, I never got your name."
"My apologies that must have been quite rude of me, I'm Ogura Kunitane, but as I must get going, I'll leave you to your endeavors, sticking around any longer will make me remember some bad memories." Ogura said as he turned around to leave.
Seeing Ogura hasty to leave I said my goodbye to him, "Alright, have a safe trip back." Ogura didn't say anything back, he only continued to walk, as he sent a backwards wave as he left.
Turning back around, I faced the rotting wooden steps once again, and started to ascend them, and as I reached the top of the hill, the cabin was in view, but something was off about it.
But as I took a longer look, I knew what it was, 'A Incomplete Domain, it must be quite powerful if It has enough Cursed Energy to keep that up.'
Walking down the dirt path, I continued to approach closer to the cabin, and I was surprised to see the shape it was in, the door looked caved in, the windows were broken, and the porch was all broken, but that was quite good for a cabin that's been supposed to be here for almost two hundred years!
Knowing that I couldn't just defeat the Spirit by staring at the cabin, I decided to enter.
Entering through the Incomplete Domain, uneasiness washed over me, but I ignored the feeling, and attempted to enter the cabin through the door, and with a slight push, the already out of shape door seemed to collapse, and with a loud bang it fell to the ground.
But the door wasn't the only thing to fall to the ground…
Looking on the ground my own hand was on the floor?!
"AGH." the stinging pain on my right hand was noticeable, but with such a clean cut the pain wasn't that bad.
'This is bad!' attempting to jump back, I clashed into the Incomplete Domain, It seemed even at this state it can trap people inside, 'I'm stuck, and somehow it performed a sneak attack on me!'
Searching my surroundings I couldn't find the location of the spirit, but as I looked down to see the state of my severed hand, I was startled to see a black liquid seeping out of it, 'Is this the power of my vitality?!'
I already had an idea of how powerful my regeneration was, if fifteen was around the basic stat for a human, I knew that my vitality which was at nine thousand was almost unstoppable, but seeing it in person was amazing.
And as my hand healed I felt relived, but I still couldn't let my guard down, so I continued to check my surroundings, but even after what felt like ages, it still wasn't showing itself.
'Is it trying to make me lower my guard?', the possibility was there, as when spirits grew stronger, their intelligence grew also, I knew I couldn't continue being a sitting duck, so I made a break for the interior of the Cabin.
Running inside, I took a look at the inside to figure out where to go, a small kitchen, a dining area, a door that lead somewhere unknown, and a staircase that lead up, all which were in a similar state to the outside.
Pausing, I continued to observe my surroundings while I listened for any sounds that could lead me to the spirit.
And as I did, the loud sound of creaking wood could be heard from above me, 'It must be upstairs.'
Approaching the staircase quietly, I started to ascend them, but due to the state of the wood it made a creaking noise as I did, 'This place isn't the most optimal for sneak attacks…'
Reaching the top of the stairs, I peaked around the corner to check for the spirit before continuing.
And my intuition severed me right, because at the end of the hallway was a deathly pale woman with black hair, she was wearing a pale blue night gown which was stained with blood, it was obviously the spirit.
Noticing the lack of awareness the Spirit showed, I decided to make my move then.
∘Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, Instant Movement∘
With the footwork of Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, I appeared next to the Spirit in nearly an instant and attempted to attack it.
But before my hit could land the hallway started to extend making the distance between me and the spirit increase exponentially, 'Is this it's Cursed Technique?'
As the Spirit turned around, I noticed it didn't even have a face, other than being slightly creeped out, I attempted to use the same footwork to move closer to the Spirit, 'If it can only change the structure of the house, then I just need to get up close and personal.
But as I moved forward I learned another trait of the Cursed Technique, dodging backwards, I narrowly avoided the spikes the floor turned into. 'Not only structure, but also shape.'
Seeing that the spikes were blocking the entire hallway, I had to destroy them, so I sent a well aimed kick at the tops of them, just enough for me to get through.
*Crunch*
As the tops of the spikes broke, I didn't attempt to cross the distance anymore, as the tips of the spikes weren't the only thing to break, my left foot, the one I used to break the spikes was clearly broken, but it clearly didn't break from the spikes.
'It's the Spirit's Innate Domain, the more you damage the Cabin the more it damages you!' the amount of damage one takes from damaging the Cabin was unknown to me, I lost an arm just by breaking the door, so it wasn't reflected back at me.
With it's Cursed Technique and Innate Domain both reflecting to the Cabin, the Spirit must show great attachment to this place.
But as I looked back at the Spirit it seemed I didn't have to approach it myself, as It was charging straight at me.
And as the Spirit attempted to attack me, It actually said something, "Die you trespasser!" which was even creepier since it hadn't had a face to say it with.
Grabbing the Spirit's wrist, I prevented it from increasing the length of the hall, they wouldn't be able to move me away as long as I held on!
∘Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist∘
With the Light Blue Aura wrapping around my hands, I broke the spirit's wrist and pummeled it with dozens of hit's before letting go and dodging backwards to prevent the spikes from underneath piercing straight through me.
"Bastard, I'll kill you!" with a screech, I could feel the Incomplete Domain was collapsing, but I wasn't expecting what was next.
∘Domain Expansion: The Goddess in the Labyrinth∘
As the Domain Stabilized I was in a different place, one where the walls were twisting and turning, but as I looked up I was horrified to see the Cabin Falling towards the Labyrinth I was in!
"I only hit you once and your using Domain Expansion? This is bullshit!"
As I stared up at the Cabin slowly falling towards me, I knew I was in danger, but since I the Cabin was a normal object I didn't have to bother using Cursed Energy to attack it!
With a Light Blue Aura in my right hand, and a reddish-pink aura in my left hand, I released the strongest move in my arsenal!
∘Cross Fang Dragon Slayer Fist∘
*BOOM*
The massive Cabin was blown to pieces, as hundreds of blows connected in a split second.
Not only could I feel my entire body self-destructing from the Technique, I could feel the damage caused from the Cabin also.
The same Black Blood was leaking throughout my entire body, I was in too much pain to clearly see the situation, but as I looked up I could see the cracks in the 'Sky'.
And like snow, the Domain was blown to pieces, and I was standing in front of the Cabin where I first entered.
As my injuries cleared, I could think straight once again, and also notice the Spirit was standing in front of the steps of the cabin.
"Without your Domain, and without your Technique, you're weaker than a Grade 1!" Charging forward, the Spirit didn't have a way to stop my attack, and my hand pierced her chest.
The final blow was dealt, but it seemed the Spirit had some final words, "D-Don't h-hurt t-he cabi-."
"Don't worry, I won't."

'I've been really pushed to my limits this time...' Holding my head tightly, the mental strain of experiencing that much pain was unbearable, I needed some place to rest, and as I looked back up at the cabin, It looked even better than before.
'Did the Incomplete Domain change it's appearance?' with that question on my mind, I moved forward slowly, and as I entered, it seemed like my statement was true, entering the dining room I laid on the kotatsu that was there, everything in the Cabin was very dusty, but it was better than passing out on the floor or outside.
I wasn't afraid of a cursed spirit finding me, after all it would have to hurt my soul to kill me, so with peace of mind, I passed out there.

My Thoughts:
I think the fight turned out quite well, I tried my best to make a hard fight with some background which will be mentioned in the next chapter, and potentially have a place where Chara could stay for some time in the future, rather than at Junpei's or Shinsuke's, I have more planned for the Jujutsu Kaisen Arc, but it'll probably end around the Mechamaru vs Mahito fight.
