Chapter 20: Ch - 19 One sided battle
After about 2-3 seconds, Raghav reached the village. He could've reached sooner but he is not used to his power.
He was currently in the sky, looking down at the village. Several humanoid monsters were roaming around the village. Several dead Bodies were lying on the ground and whole village was covered in red color. It was the blood of humans that died here.
One of the humanoid monsters spotted him in the sky. He quickly alerted everyone else who were present there. All the monsters quickly picked up thier spears which was mostly made from wood and some were made from stone. Some of them picked thier bows and hurriedly loaded arrows.
Monster 1 - "Oi! Are you here to fight? We will kill you if you dare to fight."
Monster 2 - "Yes brat, we of the same kin Should not fight."
Raghav (annoyed) - "You bastards, you think I am a monster? And what you will kill me? Let's see if you can."
His comments made all the monsters angry and they launched thier weapons at him. Before the weapons could even reach him, all the weapons were melted.
Raghav - "Wow, you guys are so strong. Now let me show you what real power is."
He then lifted his hands and a fire arrow appeared on his hand. He threw it at the monsters by moving his hands towards the monsters. The single arrow suddenly multipled and it looked like fire arrows were raining from the sky. One by one, all the monsters present there were pierced by the arrows and started burning.
The village was full of screams of monsters as they suffered alot from the attack. After a few minutes, all that was left was ashes of the monsters.
[ Thor - And here I thought you were more of a hero kind of guy. ]
Raghav - "When did I became a hero?"
[ Yama - Well those monsters deserved it. Don't worry, I will take care of them and make sure they suffer alot. ]
Raghav - "Oh, it's been a while since I last talked to you. You are not an active member."
[ Yama - Unlike others here, I have to manage hell and I am busy with a lot of work. ]
[ Thor - Hey! I chat and work at the same time. ]
[ Wukong - +1 ]
[ Athena - +2 ]
Raghav sighed seeing the gods acting childish. It was not a new thing for him as he was already used to this.
Anyway, he landed on the ground and started searching for any alive person no matter if they are Humans or monsters. He will simply save the humans and kill the monster. Little biased but that's what he want.
Suddenly the ground started shaking. It seemed like everything was going to fall down. Raghav looked towards the direction of forest as he had already sensed what was inside the forest. Then a giant monster came out out the forest, holding a big club in his left hand and a cage full of sages on his right hand. The giant was very tall with a bald head and a big horn on his head. He wore ragged clothes, just enough to cover him. It had a very dark green coloured skin. The sages inside the cage were scared and angry but they were unable to do anything for God knows why.
When the monster came inside the village, he was shocked to see all his comrades and friends lying dead on the ground. He then looked at a single man standing in the middle of the village, looking at him. He got enraged and so, he dropped the cage and lifted his club.
Giant - "I will kill you!!!"
Raghav - "All say the same."
Hearing Raghav's words the giant ran towards him and smashed him club on Raghav. Raghav on the other side, lifted his left hand and caught the club. With a single hand, he was able to neutralize the giant's strength.
Raghav - "You are...WEAK."
Saying so, he disappeared from his place and appeared right in front of the giant's face. He clenched his right palm to make a fist and then punched the centre of the giant's forehead.
Because of the power Raghav's punch carried, the giant flew away a few metre inside the forest.
Raghav - "Wow! still not dead. Maybe you aren't as weak as I thought."
He said and almost immediately, a tree came towards him at the speed of a bullet.
He didn't move from his place and before the tree could touch him, it was burnt into ashes.
Raghav - "Good to have Sun divinity."
Raghav was just using the 'heat' of the sun to use 'fire' element. He just needs to adjust the heat to a certain level and boom, it becomes so strong that it could burn anything.
Then, fee dozens of trees came flying towards him, even faster than the previous one. But to the Giant's dismay, not a single one of them was able to hit him.
Raghav - " Ok, this is getting boring."
At his comment, the giant's anger knew no bounds as he immediately rushed towards him, destroy everything in his path.
The Giant - "Take this if you can!!"
The giant punched Raghav but the punched didn't connected. He looked at the place where Raghav was before and found no one was there.
Raghav - "Maybe I should kill you now."
The giant (Smirk) - "Kill me? AHAHA, you are funny. I have a boon from Brahmadev to be immortal. Only someone who is not a God, demon, human and animal can kill me. That too only when that person have all the tridev astras."
Raghav - "Is that so, then that means that I was born to kill you."
Before the monster could say anything, Raghav released his wings and invoked Vaishnavastra. This Astra was very strong. Infact it was strong enough to destroy the whole world. But it had one major weakness. If someone bows infort of the weapon and accepts their defeat, the Astra will disappear. But it works best against those prideful beings that do not accept defeat or bow to anyone.
The sages who were witnessing the fight were shocked to see someone invoking vaishnavastra that too by a person with wings. It was not very common to see a world ending weapon being summoned. They made sure that they will write about this in the books that they are making.
The Giant too was taken aback by this. He was sure that the person infornt of him can kill him. But instead of admitting defeat, he ran towards Raghav at his full speed to kill him.
But to the Giant's dismay, Raghav had already summoned The Vaishnavastra.
The Astra was in the form of a giant Chakra* Seeing the giant run towards him, he launched the weapon towards him.
The giant was prideful so he was not ready to accept his death. He lifted his hands to punch the Chakra with full force. But the Chakra easily sliced through his hands and then his neck. The head of the giant fell on the ground first and then his whole body.
Raghav - "Wow and here I thought it will be a good fight."
Then he quickly went near the cage and freed the sages by melting the gate of the cage.
Raghav - "Pranipat Sages."
The sages wholeheartedly Blessed him which resulted in him getting more Yogic power. He was already a powerhouse but he didn't mind getting more powerful.
Raghav - "It was nice meeting you sages but can I ask you something?"
Sage 1 - "Ofcourse son, ask us anything! We will try our best to help you."
Raghav - "Is there any way I can change the colour my hairs and eyes? It would be a show off and a burdensome to explain everything to others."
Sage 2 - "No problem, I bless you with this special spell. This will help you change your body features."
[ Disguise spell (A) Aquired ]
Raghav then thanked them and left bidding his goodbye to them. He flew to the place where he last met Goddess Ganga. He sat near the river and prayed to her so that he could talk to her.
Soon, a beautiful lady emerged from the water. She looked at him with a smile.
Ganga - "Son, I am happy that you defeated the monsters."
Raghav - "It was my pleasure to help you."
Ganga - "Now son, ask for anything. I am very pleased with you."
Raghav - "I have nothing to ask. When I am in need of your help, I will ask."
Ganga - "Alright son. Now I shall take my leave."
Saying this she left and he too left for home. He properly disguised his appreance in such a way that no one could see his real features.
It was already evening when he reached his home. He could've reached earlier but he didn't because he was enjoying the vibes. After all, there are many beautiful sceneries to watch in a world with almost no pollution.
