Chapter 1: Wishes and world Selection
In an endless dark void, a young man in his early twenties awakens with a pounding headache.
"Urgh where am I" he says to himself as he tries looking around only to spot nothing but darkness in all directions.
Almost as if reading his mind a figure appears just as he finishes looking around, "hello young man, glad to see you up and about."
"Who are you? Where am I?" questions the young man.
"You are in the void between worlds, I pulled you here after you died."
"I died?" he said with a slightly trembling voice.
"Yes" answered the figure. "What else did you expect to happen when you pushed the children out of the street, they are safe by the way."
"Ah I remember now, at least I saved them, so what happens to me now?" Jason questioned the figure.
"Due to the situation of your death and what the kids went on to do later you have the option to spin the wheel of reincarnation and choose 4 wishes." spoke the figure who we will now address as R.O.B.
Right after R.O.B spoke a wheel appeared in front of Jason it has many worlds listed on it ranging from Harry Potter to Highschool DxD with cultivation novels in between.
Jason reached out and gave the wheel a spin at full force, "please not Highschool DxD, please." he begged in his head as the wheel slowed near it, just as it was stopping it spun forward one more and landed on Against the Gods. "Thank god!" he said out loud.
"Make your wishes now." Spoke R.O.B.
" what are the limits to the wishes and how powerful can they be?" Jason asked carefully.
"No wishing to be omnipotent or omniscient" answered R.O.B
"Ok, then my wishes are
1, Knowledge of formations to the highest level
2, The best Profound veins in the whole ATG world
3, Alchemy Knowledge of the same level as formations
4, A system panel with ability to travel worlds and infinite inventory space"
Jason carefully listed after reviewing them a few times.
"Ok, go through the portal to begin your life in your new world." R.O.B spoke as a portal appeared in front of Jason.
"Your world travel cooldown is 3 years!" R.O.B shouted after Jason as the portal closed.
"God damnit" cursed Jason as the portal closed behind him after he heard the cooldown is 3 years.
"Now where am I?" Jason questioned himself.
Jason looked around at his surroundings and found that he was in a forest, he made his way out of the forest and started to get his bearings while looking for the closest town.
after a few hours of walking Jason found a small village, as he approached he noticed a flame mark on the foreheads of the villagers.
A villager approached Jason and asked "What are you doing here?"
"Sorry I got lost, by chance is there a place to stay?" Jason said while scratching his head in embarrassment.
