Luna Pov'
"The past"
It was a beautiful afternoon with a beautiful sun that shone everywhere that you looked at the sky, I was lying on the green grass of my yard I was waiting Roy for bringing my favorite ice cream with cookies.
I love ice creams, but today was one of those days that i wanted to eat one without asking because of the shining sun that was shining so beautifully.
My dad was in the balcony of our house and was talking with uncle Gregory, who looked very happy. Meantime aunt Tina with my mom were cooking something in their house because according to my mom, it would be better there because they could live us in peace, but i think that my mom didn't want to ruin her beautiful and clean kitchen.

I heard a voice calling me and i know it was Roy.
As you heard from Roy I'm Luna. Luna Tumbler. I'm 14 years old, and as my mother says, i am from Albania, or more precisely, my mother's parents were from there, while my father is from Canada.
As for Roy. Roy Davidson is my childhood friends. He is also 14 years old and both parents, although from different provinces, are from Canada.
So where does that live me... ah yes to the ice cream...
- The ice cream with cookies that I was looking forward, thanks Roy.
- At last call my name first and then the ice cream.
- Ha ha very funny Roy.
I told Roy after eating a piece of my delicious ice cream.
Today was a really wonderful day, with the marvelous sun that was shining so beautifully but the strange part was that i was really anxious for some reasons.
When my family and Roy's family get together there is always a little bit of a mess and a lot of laughter, but today it seems as if something is going to happen, I can't explain it.
- How bright is the sun today, it seems as if he is smiling to.
Roy said, taking my mind off the bad feeling I had.
- Mhm
I said to Roy with a smile.
- Roy, Luna, Daniels, Honey the drinks are ready, you can come to take them.
Said aunt Tina.
- Can you go and take mine to?!
Said Roy to me with a smile.
- Since you bought to me the ice cream...
I said to Roy with a tired voice.
I was running to get the drinks for me and Roy when I see my dad with a smile on his face.
- Thanks mom, love you.
I said to my mom that was waiting outside the door with the drinks on her hands.
- Here, your drink.
I said to Roy.
I was so focused in my thoughts that I didn't even hear Roy when he was talking to me.
- ....na, Luna do you hear me ?!
Said Roy worried.
- Ah yeah Roy sorry, what did you say because I was so focused in my thoughts.
- I'm going to study ..... abroad .
Said Roy with his head down, and a little bite sad.
- Where ?!
- Italy.... But I have to go since now, cause I don't know the language.... I already have everything ready to go... I also spoke with our school and with the school in Italy and they are waiting for me... The ticket is ready to....
Roy said with a sad face.
So that was the bad feeling I was having today.
- So when are you leaving ?!
I said not watching Roy in the eyes.
- Next week....
To tell the truth even if I hated Roy I actually was a little bit sad because he was my friend even before I was born.
- Congratulations buddy.
I said to Roy.
We talked so much that was starting to become dark outside when aunt Tina called us.
- Luna, Roy the diner is ready.
- Coming aunty.
- Coming mom.
We said at once.
When we were waiting for the food to be served aunt Tina said.
- I hope that you will come fast from there Roy, we all will be waiting for you.
- Mom I'm only going there for some years, not for forever. I'm going to call you when I'm free.
Said Roy and after that we all were eating with a sad face because he was going, but we were discussing about the school and all.
After diner was over Roy called me and we were walking outside the house. It was really dark outside but since I was with Roy I wasn't to scared.
- So.... you are going to study here right ?
Roy broke the silence.
- Yes, I don't feel so confident to go and study in another city.
I said with a sad expression in my face.
- So... I know that we didn't have the best friendship ever, but I really hope that we can chat sometimes... because we grew together after all.... I'm sorry that I told you so late, but I hope that you are coming with me at the airport ?!
Said Roy with a sad expression on his face and he wasn't even looking at me.
I know that we don't have the best friendship ever, but I just didn't expect this so fast like this. Me and Roy don't have that friendship like best friends, but I just don't like the idea being away from him.
- Mhm... Yeah sure...
Were the words I answered.
Days passed and it was the day Roy would depart for Italy, we were at the airport and Roy was hugging his mom and dad. I saw tears in his mother eyes. Then he hugged my parents, they just wished a good fight and everything being okay at school.
It was my turn for the last good bye and I just hugged him tightly saying.
- I hope you a good flight buddy, I only hope you only good and I hope you return home quickly....
While I hugged him even more tight I whispered
-I will miss you...
He was shocked. It was my first time saying to him that I will miss him.
- I will miss you to little moon .
Little moon..... I was shocked. That was my first time that he called me like that.
- Attention, all the passengers for the flight number 119854 for Italy are welcomed to do the check in, Thank you.
The automatic voice woke me up from the shock that I had from those words that Roy told me.
He got away from my hug to go and do the check in.
I just waved at him with the biggest smile ever, even if my eyes were with some tears around them.
- I will wait for you to come, I will be waiting for you....
I said mumbling at myself.
