Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Mother: How could you?! I trusted you ! I've given you chances , to tell me the truth and apologies! You f***ing liar! We've been married for so long! So f***ing long and you had a child ! A responsibility!! But why?! Why the bloody f*** do still do that? What have I done to you?! Huh? What have you're daughter done to you that we deserve this?! You insufferable son of a b****!!!

The shouting came from the room across the corridor , there it goes again , it has been what? The fifth time this week? Gosh , they have been doing this for so many times now , I could even figure out what's coming up next. Let me guess , dad's is going to deny it and and say it is not what it seems...

Dad: This is a misunderstanding , I could never do such a thing!

Called it. Now mom is going to start screaming again.

Mom: Don't lie to me again you cheating f*** ! I saw you french kissing with that b**** wh*** at the alley way not so long ago ! How long are you going to keep lying to me?!

Dad: Look , babe I'm sorry , I promise this is just a one time thing, I will not happened again.

Mom: No, that's is this is the last straw , I am ending this relationship.

Dad: No-babe, please , I'm sorry , this will never happen again , give me another chance.

Mom: Another chance? (Father's name), I have already given you billions of chances , I had tried to trust you , telling myself that you are not those kind of person , but I was wrong every f***ing time! Every time I got my heart shattered to pieces! That's it , I'm through , we are done !! I'm bringing my belongings and I'm taking (y/n) back to Japan... ... before you did something to hurt her.

A loud slam could be hurt followed by sounds of maybe falling photo frames or the sound of glass shattering. Little (y/n) leaned against the wooden door , her legs are finally giving up on her after squatting too long and trying to eavesdrop on her arguing parents.Even if she had heard this conversation for far too many times , she always hope that they could reason it out. Well, guess that is that , time to pack the things and move to Japan...

I stuffed both my ear holes with the cotton stuffing from the stuff animal dad got for me , to block out the sounds of my mother's babbling , she woke me up early in the morning and yanked me out of the house to the airport , in a rush I could only grab one thing to remember about my father , the stuff bunny.

Two years ago , back when my family was still a family , back when my parents still love each other , we went to a carnival , my father won a game at a stall and got me this stuff bunny rabbit. He was a good father , he is good to his family , he loves his wife and his daughter... but one day , he changed . The atmosphere in the house became more tense , my parents became distance , and everything... ... fell apart...

I stared at the bunny which head got brutally ripped of , by me . Rethinking the times I spent with my dear father, and how much I despise him for tearing apart this family , I got up from my seat took the bunny along ad flush it's parts down to airplane toilet.

I returned back to my seat a saw my mother , her hand covering her face and tear beads rolling down her cheek .She was staring at something , it was her picture of her and dad sitting in front of what seems to be a fountain, the picture has a vintage glow to it , presumably it was taken before they got married. I walked up yo her and gently tug her sleeve , getting her attention .

(Y/n): Mommy? ... Do you miss daddy?

She kept quite at keep on staring at the photograph, I don't bother to ask her anymore.

Mom: No , I don't miss him , not anymore.

My mother puts on a strong face and force a small smile to me , I did the same as well.

Mom: Don't worry (y/n) , we are going to start a whole new life once we went back to Japan , and we are going to be happy.

I nodded , I guess a whole new life wouldn't be so bad...

Mom: It's okay sweetie , when we get our new home , we are going to start a whole new life ... just you and me. You are going to meet new friends , learn a new language ... ... ...

I tried to tuned down my mother's nagging by putting in earphones and listening to music ...it's a modern era , even 3 year old have f***ing I phones now...what do you expect.

It's not like I'm trying to ignore her or I'm disrespecting her or anything, maybe just a little . But she keeps going on and on about all this magical happy life we're going to have once we move to another country which I clearly doubted that it will even change anything .She still going to be sad about dad even if she says she is okay and that she doesn't care about him anymore but I can see through he that she was just lying to herself and trying to force a smile for my sake.

Deep down... I'm worried...worried that my mother would ever be able to get back to how she used to be after the person she loved and trusted most shatter her heart into pieces and leave her to die in a deep dark room...worried about how my father would react when he realize that his wife and daughter had left him and he finally regret for what he did.... Worried that the family I once had the home I once had will ever go back to when it is used to be... happy , filled with joy and love...

After about an hour of nagging, we had finally arrived to our destination , it's a regular sized house not to big not too small , perfect for a small family and there's seem to be a fish pond next to the old dying looking Sakura tree , the whole place has a Japanese vibe to it because obviously , it's freaking japan .

After the taxi driver had help us put down the luggage , we put it at the door step and I decided to go explore around the neighborhood...

(Y/n): Mommy, can I go look around the neighborhood?

My mother hand me a scrunched up paper ball

Mom: You can go look around honey but if you get lost , this is the address back here and my phone number , I heard Tokyo folks are kind people , so , don't be afraid to ask for help if you're in any situation , okay?

(Y/n): understood mother.

Mom: Now then , go look around and be safe okay sweetie?

My mother kissed my forehead and went into the house with the luggage and let me explore around , only the neighborhood , I won't go that far...
