Chapter 1: Prologue

The streetlight flickers on as night falls into place. Yeri flips the page in her book and continues reading on the bench beside of the streetlight. She sighs as the sky grows darker and shuts her book. She perks her nose up to the sky and gazes at the stars with shiny brown eyes. The moon is in sight and she just stares and takes it all in. These are her moments of solitude. The moments without all of the chaos of the day. The clouds begin to cover the moon and she frowns at the sight of the stars disapearing. Drops of water begin to land on her cheeks. The water drops begin to increase and suddenly it's pouring rain. Yeri didn't even bring a jacket. She puts her book against her chest and hangs her head down. Her long, black hair falls limply over her face like spaghetti sticks. Then the water stops. She can still hear it. She just can't feel it. She looks up and notices that she's under an umbrella. She turns to the man beside her. He has blonde hair that's most likely dyed and the first thing that sticks out are his dimples as he smiles. "What are you doing out here in the rain?" He asks, kinda amused.
