Synopsis

In the veiled embrace of an everlasting darkness, a fateful encounter unravels, where destinies converge in a celestial choreography of cosmic design. James, a man devoid of memory and senses, stumbles upon a profound purpose – to guide the unassuming Miller, a vessel teeming with uncharted power. Empowered by the enigmatic SYSTEM, Miller becomes a harbinger of salvation, though the shroud of secrecy obscures his true mission.

With the hour of reckoning approaching, an epic clash between light and shadow looms. James shoulders the responsibility of mentoring Miller, traversing a treacherous path to prepare him for the impending collision. Their fates entwine, leaving the lingering question: will Miller's strength surge to vanquish the malevolent forces, or will darkness prevail, leaving hope shattered and the realm in eternal despair?

Simultaneously, Miller embarks on an unending journey, fulfilling SYSTEM-assigned Quests, until a foreboding juncture emerges:

"Your life force dwindles with each passing moment, unless you take a life."
"Waste no time, for a dormant Killer Mode awakens if life reaches the precipice of nil."

Venture through a captivating tapestry of destiny, as a narrative of bravery, sacrifice, and impending fate unfolds in this mesmerizing saga.

all in all great book, dont expect 5 stars or 4 stars from me, well is there anyone who reads rating stars nowadays on webnovel?, great storytelling, good writing but readability must be improved and some parts needs to be edited as some seem out of bounds of logic all things considered if you want sci-fi read this even if you can tolerate some minor disturbances

The story has a nice pacing to it. It starts with different povs and somewhat confuses the reader, but its a mystery so it's all good. It has a lot of potential and can be still improved. Hope the author continues updating more chapters.

Things have gotten pretty interesting, even in the earlier stages of the novel. I've really liked James, one of the characters, who's special circumstances make him extremely unpredictable and dangerous, even he doesn't intend to. Great read for anyone looing for a good sci-fy.

Amazing! Though I’ve read up to chapter 36, I must say, I love how you write! Firstly, I loved how you created atmospheres—it almost reminded me of those sci-fi and Marvel movies I’d watch in theaters. The way you wrote the characters were also splendid and they felt quite life-like. I also like how you depicted the main character (Miller) and his relationship with those around him. The way you established settings was also splendid- it wasn’t overly descriptive nor too plain to the point where it would be glossed over. Though there are occasional grammatical and punctuation errors such as using lowercase letters in situations where it should be capitalized, missing commas, and runoff sentences—it isn’t detrimental to the quality of the novel. For this, I suggest using Grammarly as it helps you with proof reading. Overall, I’d say this novel deserves a 4.6/5, and I’d definitely come back to read this in the future once there are more chapters! Keep it up, author!
