Chapter 25: Chapter 25: A New Start

"I have felt what you felt for your sister Franco", my jaw ticked as I continued and glanced at him. His brows furrowed in confusion as he stared at me.

His hand, much bigger and stronger that mine suddenly covered my hands on the handle of the bench, my body relaxed instantly and just then, I noticed how rigid I was.

"Did you lose someone too, doll?", I turned my face away from him.

"Err… were you speaking about your mate?", I shook my head no as I chuckled in my mind. He refers to my mate as a dead person just like Mariya… they're well suited, she wants to kill my mate and Franco speaks like he's dead already.

"Then?", he squinted at me in curiosity.

"My parents", I choked on my tears.

"It's okay doll, I'm here with you", his sincere promise forced me to look at him.

"Give me some time Franco, some time is all I want. I don't know if I'll be the same person but I'll try".
