Chapter 39: Chapter 39: Purple Mystery (2)

I saw the same purple eyes staring at me from a tree, the face was still covered in darkness and the person's figure too but the eyes, the dark purple eyes said nothing… no emotion, no feeling, nothing but a pool of emptiness.

I was getting lost in it but then the leader of those beasts cut me on my side earning a growl from me, cutting my connection with the purple eyes.

I looked back at the leader to see him and his companion drooling as my clothes soaked with blood slowly spread on the ground.

I was slowly slipping into unconsciousness when we heard a big thump from the forest. The leader looked annoyed but motioned his companion to check it.

While they were busy, I slowly raised myself up, taking the support of a tree, I leaned on it while trying to add less pressure on my leg where he bit me.

Holding my shoulder, I looked at the leader as he was boiling with anger at the interruptions and his companion hadn't come back yet.
