Chapter 38: The Immortals move
I was now the strongest in the universe and with Zeus and the other gods bowing before me, let's just say I no longer needed to lift a finger to do anything. So, I left them to spread the Believer cultivation art, while my main body in the Milky Way galaxy sat back.
"I wanted to be the one who would conquer the universe," Alice said unhappily, to which I just rolled my eyes, how long would that have taken?
"There are more universes out there plus the immortal realm. It's unclear how long the immortal realm would take to try and kill me or whatever. So, I will have my other selves get to work and grow stronger. I plan to enjoy myself." I said with a smile, what was the whole reason behind my wanting to destroy the cultivation system? I wanted to have control, to have years worth of hard work just destroyed because someone disliked it, annoyed me greatly.
But now I control the whole universe, so I plan to sit back and enjoy myself. Go to the movies, hang out with my daughter, play video games, and so on.
"Well, yeah... I guess I should have my clones start working on getting stronger. but we shouldn't call them clones as they are our real bodies as well." Alice said with a sigh while feeling the upgrade to her powers Alex had gifted her. She thought for a moment, before looking at Alex, it was about time they announced things to everyone, right?
But seeing her gaze, Alex stood up and quickly left. he was not ready to tell everyone about their forbidden relationship, and this led Alice to be unhappy.
Alex disappeared and went on to appear within the demon realm. within a cave, Alex appeared and found Sarah who was currently sitting cross-legged, healing her injuries. upon my appearance, she looked at me for a moment, before looking down.
"... this is my home, so I fought to protect it," Sarah said before I could say anything, she had expected I would come sooner or later.
"Not anymore, your home is in the immortal realm. get all you want and leave. If you want Hope, she is always in your heart, she can come out if you call. You have no more reasons to stay here... as thanks for fighting for my galaxy, this would be the last thing I shall ever give you." I said while Sarah's injuries disappeared, and all of a sudden she entered an enlightened state, where everything she had trouble comprehending suddenly became easy for her to comprehend.
It was an instant, but that instant allowed her to master many laws and techniques, but upon coming back to reality, she found Alex was nowhere to be seen. she looked towards the entrance of the cave for some time before she hugged her legs and began crying.
The gift Alex gave her was to help her leave the mortal realm at a faster speed, he was pretty much rushing her to get out. Alex was pretty much telling her to stop hoping for anything between them to ever happen
"Hope, look I bought a new doll." Lu Lu said with a bright smile while she held a doll towards Hope. Hope sighed softly, Lu Lu was older than her, so why was it that she was acting more like a little sister?
But at that moment, a flick hit Hope's forehead, causing her to cry in pain as she stepped backward and covered her forehead. She looked up and saw Alex looking at her with a displeased look.
"What was that for?" Hope asked while rubbing her forehead, that flick hurt like hell. but I simply looked at her and back at Lu Lu with a sigh. with a thought, time stopped, leaving only me and Hope able to move
"what's your problem, why are you so hard on Lu Lu?" I asked calmly, Hope froze slightly at my words before lowering her head. She didn't know why she was hard on Lu Lu, Lu Lu just made her feel uneasy for some reason.
"You think I want to replace you?" I asked causing Hope's heart to skip slightly, but at those words, she lowered her head and had nothing to say. Sighing, I took her into my arms and waited for her to speak.
"She has a system... everyone around you seems to have one." Hope said weakly. Out of everyone I kept close, Hope and Lily were the only ones who didn't have a system. Hope wasn't normally the one to compare herself to others, but lately, she found herself comparing many things.
She couldn't help but notice how her mother was replaced... would she be replaced? Lu Lu although isn't as smart as her, she had powerful abilities. abilities that Hope could only get thanks to her dad, Lu Lu had a system, so over time she could keep growing. meanwhile, Hope's growth depended highly upon her father
What did Hope half? her physique might allow her to increase her talent with the more knowledge she had, but how impressive was that compared to those system holders? they could just copy her talent.
"Thats dumb," I said making Hope's eyebrows raise slightly. She looked at me, not expecting those words to come from me
"you're my daughter, and thats a hard-core fact. Lu Lu is more like an adopted daughter, she has her troubles. She lost everything, her father abandoned her and kicked her to the streets. to survive, her mother feed herself to her. it seems like to get a system one has to go through some trauma. Are you willing to endure having everything you have taken from you? She wants a family, she envies you and looks up to you as an elder sister." I said softly, making Hope's eyes widen slightly. She didn't know this.
"why didn't you tell me?" Hope asked while looking toward Lu Lu who was still frozen in time with a downcast look
"Is that information important?" I asked making Hope lower her head. At this moment, she felt like a dick.
"you're only 11 years old, you are still growing," I said softly, to which Hope said nothing. a moment of silence followed for a few minutes before I spoke.
"I plan to remarry," I said causing Hope to look up in shock, Sighing softly I spoke
"Me, Lily... and Alice," I said making Hope's eyes widen slightly. She looked at me for some time before speaking.
"B-but she is your sister, thats inbreeding," Hope said in shock, but realization suddenly hit her. with cultivation, one need not worry about giving birth to a child with 100 eyes or something like that. so Inbreeding would only have benefits and a few drawbacks.,
"I know..." I said softly, leaving Hope with nothing else to say for some time. her mind couldn't help but turn towards her mother...
"Does mom know about this?" She couldn't help but ask, to which I rolled my eyes,
"What does this have to do with her?" I asked, leaving Hope with nothing else to say. seeing this, I sighed softly and put her down.
"I should get going. take the time to live your youth, I don't want all of this stuff to take away your chance to be a kid." I said to which Hope just nodded slightly. With that, I had time return to normal.
"Well. Lu Lu, I should get going. If Hope bullies you, just come and tell me." I said with a smile, to which Lu Lu just nodded her head slightly. the whole time when time was frozen, she could hear their talk. As I disappeared, Hope looked at Lu Lu for some time before speaking.
"... I'm sorry," Hope said softly, making Lu Lu shake her head slightly.
"I didn't know you thought I was trying to replace you... I will get out of your hair if you like." Lu Lu said weakly, hearing those words Hope hugged Lu Lu, leaving Lu Lu stunned.
"I was a jerk, I was jealous and lashed out at you," Hope said softly, Lu Lu's body shook for some time. her lips pressed for a moment before she began to cry before she hugged Hope back, something which led to Hope crying as well.
"couldn't you have done that sooner?" from a window, Alice asked while looking at the scene down below. she turned around to look at Alex who was removing his clothing,
"I wanted to see if the two could do it on their own without the need for me to step in," I said softly. Alice nodded slightly for a moment before she walked towards him while also removing her clothing.
"This place is a bit empty, we can have all of the maids, guards, and animals... but it would always be empty," Alice said while wrapping her arms around me, at her words I couldn't help but smile slightly.
"We are in our 30s... you have a child, and I don't. how long should I wait?" She asked, to which I rolled my eyes for a moment. but I nodded slightly. this huge mansion was empty.
"But let's wait for the fusion to be complete. a fusion of all of the races, after we all evolved into this new race then let's have a child." I said with a smile, to which Alice nodded slightly before sharing a kiss. But Alice suddenly pushed him onto the bed, where she went on to sit on top of him.
"Well, we both know it's going to be hard for me to get pregnant, so let's have a head start." She said leaving me speechless. sitting up slightly, she had my rod enter her body, and for a moment her body shook causing her to stop and look at me in shock.
"What do you think? I had the pleasure it can give increased by millions of times over." I said with a smile, Alice let out a deep breath. the pleasure was something that had caught her off guard and almost led to her coming on the spot.
"If you want to play like that..." She said before she had her inside bring unmatched pleasure, she couldn't help but smile seeing Alex's body twitch slightly. but Alex smiled slightly,
"Since you like doing cowgirl so much, I want to see how long you can go. Just admit it, I win." I said with a smile, causing Alice's smile to disappear. She took a deep breath, and just as she placed her palms on my chest, she paused when a shadow appeared to the side.
"My lord, the gods had reported that the immortals have made their moves. they had sent avatars down to the mortal realm, and have taken over 4 billion galaxies, which they are using unknown means to fuse. They also have the means to avoid heaven's eyes, so they can use bits of their true power. Zeus and the others have been seriously injured." the shadow said, causing both me and Alice to frown slightly
"Sigh, we barely had a day to relax," I said with a deep frown, the immortals gaining the power to use their power in the lower realm wasn't a good thing. One should know, that Immortals didn't use laws, they used something that transcended the laws that govern the universe, they used Daos.
Zeus and the other gods might have power in immortal realms, but that is if an immortal doesn't use a Dao. this is because even the weakest of Dao would give an immortal power that could destroy the universe
but they should still only use a hint of their power in the mortal realm, the heavens had the power to even suppress the Dao. even the immortal realm wouldn't allow powerhouses to come to the lower realm at full power.
"Have Zeus fall back, and have it so those galaxies under my control are safe," I said with a deep frown. what could they be doing by fusing a galaxy? the universe was huge and filled with nearly an endless amount of galaxies, it's ever-growing. thats not even adding how some galaxies were millions of times bigger than the Milky Way galaxy.
"I will go have Jasmelle get ready," Alice said softly, this was a serious matter, why else would the gods make such a move? it was of course to get the mortal who was only at the nascent soul realm, yet could fight immortals.
"I will go get information on the immortal realm cultivation ranks," I said with a sigh before disappearing, I honestly knew little about the cultivation world. how strong were they, what were the cultivation ranks like, and so on. but this can be easily fixed by going to the enemy and asking nicely.
So, I appeared in Outerspace where a bunch of galaxies were spinning nonstop, shooting towards each other. with a simple look, I instantly realized what was happening here. they were creating a mini-universe. each galaxy that was about to be used was a peak-grade galaxy that held countless dimensions. if they fused, they could mold it into a mini-universe... but since I saw it, and understood it, I could stop it.
"Why are you playing around with galaxies?" I asked calmly, using QI, my voice spread through the void, entering the minds of those immortals who were secretly watching me. not expecting I could sense them, they were caught off guard, but they still came forward, surrounding me.
"It's best you just submit now and make it easy for us." An old man said calmly with arms behind his back. I of course ignored their words and simply looked at them for a moment, before disappearing, leaving the elders all stunned. they had of course sealed off space, so how could Alex have simply disappeared?
Meanwhile, Alex appeared back in the Milky Way and went on to wave his hands. form a portal, copies of those immortals stepped out. of course, they were far weaker than the original, but other than that they were perfect copies.
"Tell me about the strength of the immortal realm that sent you," I said lazily while sitting back, Alice, Jasmelle, and the others all gathered behind me, looking at the copies which looked as if they were trying to fight for control from Alex.
"It seems like the higher existences can't be so easily recreated," Lily said softly, to which I nodded slightly. but with how weak they were, they couldn't hold on for long and soon fell to their knees and went on to tell me everything.
Above the heavenly Saint, was the Lesser Immortal, this was where Zeus and the strength of the other fell in. With only 5 levels, the gap between each level was greater than the last. if the first level had a strength value of 1, the 3rd level would have a strength value in the trillions.
To enter this realm, one has to look deep within and comprehend themselves. this would allow them to form a Dao seed. with the formation of this seed, one has become an immortal. the basic rules that govern the universe shall no longer affect them. As their understanding of themselves grew, the Dao seed would grow, until it sprouted, and slowly turned into a Dao tree when they reached level 5 Lesser Immortal. thats when one has gained not only complete understanding over themselves, but also some control over their own fate.
It was because of this that these copies could fight back against Alex's control, but since they couldn't use their Dao and were so weak, it allowed Alex to take control of them. Zeus' full strength would fall under a level 2 Lesser Immortal if they didn't use their Dao. I would only fall under a level 3 or 4 Lesser Immortal.
After the lesser Immortal is the greater Immortal, then the Human Immortal, Earth Immortal, Sky Immortal, Heavenly Immortal, and Immortal Emperor.
"Currently, all of the powers with an immortal emperor are making their move to try and capture you." they finished, leaving me and everyone else speechless.
"Well... we are fucked." Alice said softly, to which I laughed slightly. in an instant, my mind went through an infinite number of ways I could try and turn things around.
"first thing first, gather as many galaxies as you can get your hands on and use the same formation to fuse them all. I will go deal with something else." I said with a soft breath, to which everyone but Jasmelle moved out, I looked at Jasmelle in confusion as to why she didn't move.
"At moments like this, I should stay by my king's side." She said softly, to which I just shrugged slightly while disappearing with her.

itachi1010 Is this a recon? I did have Zeus and the other's strength be far greater, and would have been able to fight gods even with their Dao... but to think I can just take it back since I didn't fully explain it. I will stop explaining things less and less, this way I can always do something like this if needed.
Plus, I always had a sex scene here, hopefully, the readers drop this. I want to see if this would end up weakening the MC. I will win this battle,
