Chapter 4: WAR Preparations
4 hours later,
Out of the 6 wizards and 18 minions only 1 minion returned. The minion rushed to speck with the chief and after a few minutes the chief was ready.
"Tell me what happened? Where are the others?" asked the chief.
"Chief, They were killed." said the minion.
This news was exactly what chief was afraid of.
"Who killed them?"
"There is a vary large army to our west. They killed one of the minions and then tried to captured the rest. I managed to escape only because the wizard and the minion sacrificed themselves to slow the enemy down."
"How many troops? What kind of troops?"
"They were all humans. As for their numbers; its in 10,000s."
'10,000? Our defenses won't be enough to defend against them. We need an army as well.'
Meanwhile towards the east,
"I never thought Re-Estize Kingdom would let demons join the army. We can use this to our advantage, I am sure the holy kingdom would be happy to help us fight a kingdom who shelters demons." said the Emperor of the Baharuth Empire, a.k.a. the Bloody Emperor, a.k.a. Jircniv Rune Farlord El Nix.
Meanwhile towards the west,
"So the Baharuth Empire has finally made the deal with the devils?" said a noble in a mocking tone.
"Are they really that desperate to win the war?" asked another noble.
"What do you think Gazef?" asked the king in a quite voice as to not let the noble hear.
"I don't understand why the Empire would send 3rd tier spell casters who knew nothing about hiding to scout. They have much more capable scouts in their ranks, why didn't they use them?" said the Warrior Captain in a quite voice.
"That does sound strange. Do you think someone else is trying to frame the Empire?"
"That is a possibility. If we could prove the existence of demon in the Baharuth Empire then the Holy kingdom most likely will help us fight them."
"Many nobles lost their power and influence once the Jircniv became Emperor. This could a plot by them to cause mutual destruction."
