Chapter 3: Wiskey My Huskey

I'll be turning sixteen the day after tomorrow and I will find my mate. I won't be lonely! I was so happy once again in my life, the last time was meeting Mae for the first time. With that happy thought, I went to the washroom.

My washroom was huge, the floor had marble tiles. There was a huge bathtub, a showering place, a toilet, a washbasin with a mirror with a thin long build bordering it, it had a hairdryer attached and a dressing table with tiny shelves filled with makeup items from nail paints to foundations and between these shelves was the mirror with bright spotlights. The table had a brush holder that had all kinds of brushes needed for makeup. It had drawers that were filled with accessories.

I went over to the dressing table and sat on the whistler footstool and wiped the makeup off my face and braided my hair, I love braiding my hair. I went out of the washroom and went inside the closet which was right beside the washroom. I was so tired, damn Europe sure does have shorted days but I feel the days are longer... lol.

I opened the door to the closet. My closet was neatly divided into parts. one part was for pajamas, each of them was different and really comfortable, another one was for party clothes of every type, and another one for undergarments, and ANOTHER one for jackets and a tiny shelf for shoes... Okay, it wasn't tiny I had different types of shoes - heels, boots, canvas - whatever you can think of.

I turned to the pajamas section and chose the hoodie pajamas. I changed into it and went to bed.

My bed was queen-sized, the headboard was grey, the bedsheets were lavender and the fluffy pillow was also lavender. I was brought back to the real world when Wiskey my husky started snuggling my leg.

"Woah! Wiskey," I said as I picked him up.

He was sleepy so was I. We both are so similar. I took him and cuddled with him in my bed and switched my tall white lamp off.

I went to sleep thinking about my birthday. I wondered if I would meet my mate.

NEXT MORNING.

I woke up to someone licking my face.

"Well someone's up early," I said sleepily.

It was Wiskey. I got up and sat on my bed and looked at Wiskey. Wiskey sat on my lap and went back to sleep, I chuckled at his behavior.

After he slept and got a little comfortable I slowly took him up and placed him carefully on my bed and slowly got off the bed. I started tiptoeing towards my bathroom until my foot hit the corner of the bed. I winced but immediately froze seeing Wiskey stir a little. Who said putting a baby to sleep is hard...this is harder.

I slowly made my way towards the bathroom. On the way there, I checked the time and sighed. It was 5:30 AM. I went to the bathroom, brushed my teeth, and took a shower, and made it out of there as quietly as possible. I accidentally tripped and Zene scolded me for being so clumsy for the second time this morning. Zene loves Wiskey a lot. They talk a lot.

I made my way to the closet and opened it. I put my finger on my chin and thought about what to wear. I heard shuffling in my bed and I knew that Wiskey was up.

"Wiskey, what should I wear?" I asked.

He barked three times.

"Oh, this one? Okay!!" I said.

It was a black spaghetti strap top with a full-sleeved jacket and ripped jeans. I put it on and looked at my reflection.

"Oooh, I like it!" Zene commented.

"You have a good fashion sense! thanks, Wiskey." I said.

Wiskey barked and puffed his chest, expecting a treat. I gave him a biscuit and ruffled his fur.

With that, I put on my shoes and left my room. He followed me since he is jobless, I didn't really mind. If you are wondering if I go to school, today is Sunday, it's a national holiday thingy every Saturday and Sunday. Ughhh, I have school tomorrow.

I walked downstairs and towards the kitchen. I saw my mom cooking, she was making pancakes. I didn't want anything sweet or spicy. I wanted something cold so I opened the fridge and took watermelon juice.

I filled Wiskey's bowl with dog food. I was surprised when he ate quickly. He headed to the door and waited for me. I chuckled at him. That moment, I made up my mind, I'm going to spend my entire day with Wiskey.

Wiskey loves snow, I enjoy going a run with him. He is like my baby. I opened the door and Wiskey jumped out the door and started playing with snow, rolling around, digging, and trying to hide by covering himself in snow. I chuckled at his actions.

"Woah, boy!! Calm down." I called out, he came near me.

I went towards the forest and wiskey followed happily. I went behind a tree and stripped. I tucked the clothes in a tree. don't worry Wiskey and Zene were on guard. I shifted into my grey wolf.

Wiskey came and nuzzled against me. I licked him making him purr.

I started running, with him in front of me. He was rolling and playing with the snow. I asked him to come with me, he did, I wanted to shift back. I went to the tree where I left my clothes and changed.

I took Wiskey in my hand and started walking, he nuzzled close to me. My eyes suddenly fell on the frozen pond. Wiskey jumped out of my hands and ran towards the frozen pond. Looks like he also noticed the same thing, I said to Zene. Zene chuckled in reply.

I laughed and ran with him. We started ice skating on the frozen pond. I was amazing at skating, Wiskey started a few days ago. Zene taught him.

We were skating happily until I heard a crack.

I suddenly fell into the pond and I couldn't come back up. I could only hear Wiskey's bark, but everything started to slowly fade away. Wiskey's barks were the last thing I could hear before surrendering myself to the darkness.

Everything went black.
