Chapter 30: Oh? A Shiny I'm Rich Now... Um, That's Just A Rock....
AN: Yo just a heads up the next few chapters will be "slow" slice of life ish stuff... I say slow compared to earlier chapters so... They will mostly be 1-2 days time wise in each chapter. For the next few anyways...

After we managed to drag the two bed lumps Hestia, and Shizuka over. We quickly put the bed away, then had a simple meal. Using a nice table set from storage. Afterwards we then moved on to other things the girls, and I talked about yesterday.
"Hestia I have some stuff I would like to show you, and talk about if your up for it." I say, while sitting across from her . She gives me a nod then looks to me waiting for whatever I'll do next. I pull out two bars of gold onto the table, greatly shocking Hestia.
I then tell her "These are bars of 99% pure 'None-Blessed' gold. I would like you to sell them and use the money on yourself, however you want. BUT you are to spend every bit of it while saving NONE, as we'll be going to the dungeon and getting much more." I pause waiting for her to take in what I've said.
"But... What about all of you? Don't you need to get things? Or it would be better used to buy potions, or save for other emergencies." She finally states with a look full of worry.
All the girls, and I chuckle at that. Kyoko replies."No, no it's okay Hestia. You should already be able to guess, we have more if we need it."
Yuriko chimes in next with."Yes. We really are fine. This is something we all talked about before, also we know about your part-time job, and we want you to quit it. As you won't need to work like that anymore."
In a very soft voice Hestia says back."But, but..." Rika cuts her off, telling her with a grin."Its alright now. Let us take care of getting money. Instead your new job will be, being our Goddess of the Hearth."
Saya continues after her saying."Yes you will now BE home supporting us.... As we support our new family." She starts strong, but with the last part becoming embarrassed greatly.
We then spent the next while convincing Hestia to NOT save the money, when she brought up weapons/armor stuff, we all showed her our weapons. {Melee ones that is.}
For armor I mean she saw out bracers/greaves last night when we met, but yea it does LOOK like we just have normal clothes, other then those... But we were able to convince her it was REALLY strong clothes. I mean its really simple after Miku tried poking a whole through her PG, so...
Now yes the bars aren't worth THAT much, but they are worth a good chunk. I mean if a quarter size piece is worth 10 valis, then a full 6 inch bar of it will be worth enough for a day of play.... {It SHOULD be I hope.}
We make sure everyone has a small backpack on to "Carry Stuff". I've seen way too many FFs, and stories where everyone goes mad about storage 'Magic' whatnot. Only those in our familia will know the bags are just cover.
With that done we head out towards the guild. At the guild we did not run into Eina. Which was kind of sad as I atleast wanted to meet her, but there is always next time.
I was shocked to see the place was much bigger than I thought it'd be. But on 2nd thought it makes sense. The first advisor that walked over to us, was a really hot long red haired wolf-person {Werewolf? Wolf-Girl? I don't know.}.

As she walked over I smiled saying."Hello. We are new to the guild, and wish to register as adventures, can you please help us, miss...?"
She gave a small nod before replying. "Yes, Welcome to Orario Guild's Main Branch. My name is Rose Fannett, and I'll be your personal advisor. Please follow me to register. May I ask you names?"
We followed her along each giving our names, as we made our way through the guild. We gave our ages, levels, and Familia. She gave us a basic rundown, she was fairly kind, but was really distant as well.
After we finished registering. {Did you know they have a weird bank ish system, but it uses 'Guild Cards' as debit cards???} We left for the dungeon. YAY! It was time to start "The Grind"... I also remembered to turn in my 'Join a Familia' mission... I kind of forgot until we entered the dungeons first floor...
The walls are light blue colored, and from what Rose told us the monsters that appear are Goblins or Kobolds. And newbie Level 1 adventurers stay in the 1-4 floors.
Looking around there is also a wide hallway. That seems to be the 'Beginning Road' she talked about. The pamphlet says monster are in the I-H range here...
We walked past a number of other adventurers, we did fight a monster group of 4 goblins, but they were super easy. So we followed the path to the stairs down to try the 2nd floor.
It took us about half an hour until we found the stairs. But the 2nd floor was the same as the 1st. It did have a kobolt mixed in the groups here and there, that we pasted, but that was it. On the 3rd floor it was mostly kobolt, but there were far less other adventures here so we fought our way to the next stairs.
It took us about an hour to reach the 4ths entrance. But we got 30+ cores so wasn't all bad. I do see that I get stats on my world status. I can't update it in real-time though.
It is nice to SEE the increase though its only 5 or so points, but its something. Secondly it looks like I don't get levels, or I should say I don't get both at the same time. {Its like a toggle switch for what gets the 'EXP'/Excelia it's 'True', or 'World' status}
The fights have been really easy, more so since its all of us together... On the 4th floor we split up into 3 groups. Rika, Saeko, Shizuka, and Yuriko are in the 1st one. Saya, Rei, Kyoko, and Miku are in the 2nd one.
Leaving me all alone like I asked for, as I don't NEED help right now. The others need it more, and so they can get caught up quicker. Even if we split up we still stay somewhat close, and have our small radios so....
After splitting up I find a group of 6 kobolds. And oh boy am I excited for this fight. I throw a 'Lesser Orb of Fire' at the closest one. The others quickly turn to my location giving a growl, and charge at me.
I throw another orb, then swing at the next closest one easily cutting it down. The other three pounce at the same time. I release my weapon, then throw a punch into two, while moving my head to the side dodging the 3rd ones claw.
Stepping back I pull my knife out throwing it into the 3rd one's eye killing it. The other 2 try to tear me apart only for my sword to return to my hands cutting the left one in half. I effortlessly block the last ones scratches, before beheading it.
It was still a REALLY easy fight, but it was better. I also seemed to have gained 1-2 points in each of my stats for the whole group.
I go through the next few fights using only one type of fighting. Fists, Sword, Magic, Knives, then again a mix of them all. I do this to see how the increases for stats work to give Sage more data, while practicing my own skills.
Just after the 2nd group I noticed my endurance did not increase, so I then leave the last of the 3rd group alive a little longer to let it get a few hits in.
This does the trick, so in the next groups I let one or two get a hit on me, but only after I've cut their numbers down to half.
With a radio from Rei to come back for lunch I rejoin the others. Its just sandwiches, but they're still delicious.
Then we all head towards the next floor. We rotate who fights any groups we come across, so that everyone can gain excelia. A short hour or so after we arrive at the 5th floor.
The walls change to a light green color. Rose told us before from the 5th-7th floors stronger monsters such as Killer Ants, Frog Shooters, and War Shadows appear, plus the monster birth time is faster.
We spend another two hours keeping our rotations for fights, and stay together just to be safe. The monster aren't much stronger then before. But there are a LOT more. Plus some attack from a distance, or are just sneaky shits like War Shadows...
We fairly quickly reach Floor 6 and continue on. After another two hours we head back up. The way back was relatively fast only taking an hour, and a half. We swing by the guild to sell our cores from the day.
The exchange rate is really bad... It's 50 valis per goblin core, 75 for kobolds, 80 for killer ants, like that... Just bad rates, but it is what it is... We got a total of 74,605 valis, with all of us.
Well for 9 people that's kind of bad really, bit for 9 NEW adventurers its not that bad... Atleast I think so...Rose was super shocked by how many cores we turned in. Seeing her face like that was cute...{Her EARS even twitched haha, and her tail stood straight up haha.}
We swing by home to see if Hestia is there, and she is not sadly. While the girls sit and relax for the most part. Yuriko, and I start to work on fixing up the SR.[Stone Room]
We do this by throwing on scuba tanks, then emptying some extra ones inside. I used 150 SP to get something to refill the tanks...{Just a simple air compressor machine thing for scuba tanks. And that's WITH the 10x added on...ONLY 150....}
I didn't have one to do that, I had an air compressor, but it was one for workshop stuff... It didn't do it with breathable air...{Apparently THAT'S a thing... According to Saya}
I do the tanks and air, while Yuriko talks with the others, drawing up some blueprints for how we'll use the place. WITH a house of course hehe... We continue until it starts to get dark, with Hestia returning home.
She is wearing what looks like a new outfit {It looks new atleast}, while carrying some other bags full of food... (This girl *Sigh*) Rika, and Kyoko quickly take the bags from her, as everyone else had there hands full, or were farther away. We then get ready for dinner, while getting our status updated.
Oh boy was that fun. I was able to find that really good Hestia statue a few times right after I lost it... HAHA!!!.... Yea lets just say she was greatly surprised by how much we gained. But I mean we killed a LOT so... My stats went up to.
Strength: 440 E ->504 D
Endurance: 470 E ->501 D
Dexterity: 360 F ->412 E
Agility: 390 F ->451 E
Magic: 410 E ->496 E
Over dinner we talked about our day so on. After the girls said they wanted to take Hestia away and wash up... I was told to put the bus upstairs, and they would take care of everything else... Yea, I'm not going to argue with that...
Hestia's face was well priceless haha.... The girls quickly pulled her inside while I went to cover up the windows of the church. I also threw some plywood walls up around the Bus too. Then waited on the bench inside the Bus.
After a full THREE hours!... I was told I could wash up now... But I needed to pull a bed out for Hestia.... A GREAT BEAST was unleashed once the bedroom door was closed that night.... Hehe..... I made SURE the doors were locked....
The next morning was similar to yesterday's. With some added morning exercise hehe... We did eat in the Bus this time though. Afterwards we talk about having the church rebuilt as a REAL manor... I say we but it was mostly Yuriko, Shizuka, Saeko, and Kyoko whispering temptation to Hestia about having a REAL bathroom... *Shutter*
Women are SCARY I tell you... I'm sure if Rika, Rei, and Saya didn't stop them Hestia would have done everything possible to get it built today....
While on our way to the dungeon I brought up the red light district... Then had to QUICKLY explain it was to look for a chance to save Haruhime... It earned me a small lecture sure, but it was approved to take a look soon.... {I swear it isn't to do anything else there... I MEAN IT!!! MY WIVES ARE BETTER!!! hehe...}
We once again enter the stairs going into the dungeon, but this time we work our way down straight to the 6th floor. Before we again split into groups. I'm not alone this time with Miku joining me. After awhile we arrive at the entrance to the 7th floor.
With a quick radio to met up, we then head down. On this floor Kyoko, Saya, and Shizuka start to struggle a little. But not greatly, it looks like this is the floor they need to fight on if they want to Solo, atleast for now that is. Saeko, Rika, Rei, Miku, and Yuriko seem to still have no problems, and easily finish their fights.
I as well am able to still quickly finish as well. As we continue along I stop fighting letting the others do so, while I follow behind. I am also using this time to finish something we have talked about at length. I am in the processes of trying to fully write out/explain HOW to cast a simple level 0 spell.
This is because even in my spell book its nothing but a simplified cliff-note version, not a full one. It is very difficult to fully explain every feeling, movement, syllable, and thought from start to finish on a single spell. This reason is for the simple fact each person has a different 'Mana Signature'.
It's like DNA+Soul mixed together in a unique way for everyone. And to make a 'Grimoire' for a spell this has to be stripped away from the one making it, this is in order to let others learn the 'Blank' version of the spell.
It is really slow going, but once I can get the hang of it I can make these for the girls to try and learn themselves. For spells I know atleast, this will also save on a LOT of SP down the road.
And I should be able to learn/make other spells myself without going through the system.{Hopefully anyways.} It's always good to have a back up just in case, as the system ones learned auto adds a 'Signature' for whoever uses the "Skill Book".
Also none of us are using guns right now atleast we haven't had a big need to do so. As I'm SURE something will happen if we do... From what I remember the dungeon is semi alive, so if we just go blasting away I'm 80% positive a juggernaut, or a 'Black' variant will spawn...

Did you guys like the tiny fight part? Or no as it was SUPER small? It wasn't necessary, as it was trash ish mobs?
So I should probably say this now JUST to be clear this IS NOT the same as the OG. What other variations this world will have? You'll have to wait until then hehe. OH BOY am I looking forward to one I set up.... Just know it's really funny shit...

Next so Hestia. I always saw her as caring, and kind with a deep sense of family. I mean she IS the goddess of hearth so..... Also hehe THREE HOURS in the bath with the girls??? Yeah.... They are 100% corrupting her haha.... I will be trying to spread Danmachi out a bit more something like 40-50 ish chapters maybe, maybe less.... We'll see how long I can go without BIG time skips... So.... Meh?
