The palace courtyard:

On a tranquil morning, as as the sun's golden rays painted the courtyard with warmth, Arabella immersed herself in her studies beneath the shade of an ancient oak tree, she was startled by approaching footsteps. Gradually looking up, she found herself face-to-face with Count de Montague. A smile, as elusive as moonlight, graced his lips, sending a shiver down Arabella's spine.

"Dear lady," the Count greeted her, his voice a velvety caress. "What a fortunate coincidence to find you amidst the beauty of this tranquil day."

Arabella's voice quivered slightly as she replied, "Count de Montague, your presence comes as a delightful surprise. Pray, to what do I owe this honor?"

"I must say lady, I am fascinated by the serene of nature and your lovely beauty". He said, his words drawing a blush to Arabella's cheeks.

"Thank you my Lord. Excuse me, Count de Montague," Arabella's voice carried a soft elegance as she approached him, her curiosity shining through. "I must admit, your recent arrival has set the kingdom abuzz. Rumors of your wealth and tales of your adventures have claimed us all."

Count de Montague, his voice deep, responded with a charming smile. "Ah, Lady Arabella, your reputation precedes you. I've heard of your beauty, now I have to battle with your inquisitive nature. Not that I mind, It's truly quite honor to be in your presence."

A blush warmed Arabella's cheeks, and she returned his smile gracefully. "You flatter me, Count. But I must confess, the stories of your escapades have me hooked. Will you indulge my curiosity and share some of your adventures with me?"

"Sure, my Lady. As the long take goes, I am a child born of the golden spoon. Sure to live my days in this bike poor building", he said with a witholding chuckle. Arabella smiled, playing along.

"My lord, that's quite a sorry tale. Clearly you do not wish that for yourself. I would like a more eloquent tale. Let's say the gossips of the court house". She said, her voice gentle.

"I see, but it must be a shame as I don't do well in gossips. I simply ignore every word spoken". He replied watching her movements.

"If I didn't know better, I would have thought you were loving the stories or better still accepting them. Do you relate to that?". She said, her eyes not blinking for a second.

His eyes gleamed with a mixture of mystery and amusement. "I am afraid, my lady, that some secrets are meant to be kept tucked away. However, I can assure you that my travels have taken me to distant lands, encountering both thrills and danger."

Interested, Arabella leaned closer, her voice barely above a whisper. "Are you not compelled to share your experiences? To let the world marvel at the tales that have shaped you into the man you are today?"

Count de Montague's gaze softened, his expression betraying a hint of vulnerability. "Perhaps one day, Lady Arabella, when trust has blossomed between us like a delicate flower, I shall reveal the secrets that lie within."

Lady Arabella's heart fluttered with a mix of excitement and caution. She understood that trust was not built in a day, but the enigmatic count had ignited a fire of curiosity within her that she could not ignore. With a gentle nod, she accepted his response, her emerald eyes gleaming with unspoken possibilities.

"Very well then, what books do you prefer? The old rusty poet of doom or the tragic romance?". Arabella spoke, her hand lifting a book before the other.

Their conversation continued into the afternoon, interweaving tales and dreams, laughter and whispered confessions.

"Pray tell, I see you again sir but now I must leave. Arabella spoke making her way out the antique chair.

"Might I walk you to your home?" He asked, his voice uncertain.

"Not to bother my Lord, I stay in this castle for now. Yes, the daughter of Late Sir, Williams. Not to worry we aren't related." She answered, her voice cracking into a laughter as she watched his puzzled face.

"I am the Princess of Edgemont. You have been a wonderful host". She said smiling warmly at him before turning to take her leave. Rafael had never met someone as daring, a smile slowly playing on his face.

"Princess Arabella of Edgemont". He murmured under his breath, the smile warm as he watched her walk away from him.
