He also did not get much chances on being with his daughters as it will be quite sus to visit the concubines by himself and without any good reason while Marianne is away.
Being their Godfather officially is not good enough of a reason to visit everyday, although he still manage to do so for a bit.

She now had a huge fan base in the internet most of which came from Britannia but some did come from other countries, the second largest fan base are from America then Japan.
AA on the other hand did have much result in his research of the thought elevator.

Charles and VV was both fascinated at this discovery.
Although, they still don't know how to activate this weapon to kill the 'god' at the very least, in both their minds, they already have the means to do so, they just need to know how.
So they both pestered AA almost everyday, hurrying him on his research of the thought elevator.
Specially VV, this midget had gone to AA's side everyday watching him on the side like a hawk and would annoy him when he was taking a break and relaxing, he would not let up until AA continues his research again.
If not for Charles scolding VV about stressing their main researcher, then VV would have even gone more extreme, to the point that he would even not let AA sleep at all and just tie him in a chair in his desk to continue researching.
Thankfully for them all that it did not happen or AA might have gone on a rampage from the stress and annoyance.

He had a huge amount of money so in terms of financially, they are quite well off.

This family is full of military careerist.
While his family is long time friends with them, but the nobility is known for their backstabbing for benefits.

The Americans was finally able to make their own knightmare frame without any outside help, they took some time but they still did it.
The design and aesthetics of their knightmare frame is quite similar to the Arbalest of full metal panic, they are still knightmare frame though.
And they are now preparing for war.
The whole country is not even keeping it a secret.
They are blatantly making weapons in the open, most citizens are supporting this cause specially the mecha fans.
While there are some who are rallying about making peace and not war which composed of almost the other half.
Most of this peace advocates are wearing hippy fashion while holding a Y peace placards with even some paints of on their faces with nature designs like butterfly or flowers.
The police and the government mostly don't need to bother with them though, because the people who support the war is fighting it out with them.
Directly or indirectly, in a debate or in a brawl, personally or in the internet.
Although this peace advocates said that they want peace but they still do more brawls against this pro war people than resorting to debates, they even had guns, they just don't dare to fire in the open.
After all, smart phones are a thing now and everyone is taking a video of almost everything.
